Agyemang? She spent last season on loan at Brighton... she is just not ready for the big step up (the Arsenal kind) and she is no 9, the issue with the attack lies on the wing Foord can't cross or beat her marker to save her life, they need an upgrade...

The team also hasn't properly replaced Raffalle ( the centre-half that left) and Catley is usually a suspect too (too slow)...let hope Codina comes back stronger....

You are right on the age side ( the second highest in UWCL this season) buh most female players matured around 28/29 years for men is 23/24... We need GK as Domselaar can't stay fit and Zinberger is not reliable, the Midfield needs not just ball winners buh also sizes (hope they get Pelova of 2 years ago back) that's why overlooking Engen or Dabritz pains me....

Kelly is ok buh they need high quality performer, Kelly emergence last season shows the team lack pacey and dribbling wingers ( that is what she gave to team) and she won't even start for City or smell the bench at Chelsea... We need classy wingers like Jule, Cascarino, Clara Buhl or even Linda Caciedo...


The DM needs upgrading too, Little only thrive when the team has control buh ghost in others, well granted her age... Little, Pelova, Mannum and Cross are all too similar no 10s... And they are watching good players like Dabritz and Engen pass them by on free agency


Their recruitment is a mess like the men's team.

They should shall invest with the following and 3x revenue growth over the last 2 years for Arsenal Women that Chelsea, City and United could only dream of....this team is still not good to challenge challenge Chelsea or a near-strenght City for WSL title next season...

The main controller yesterday was Ruiz who was the man Merino replaced in midfield beside Zubi... Merino lack of "space awareness" (positional sense) was what Vitinha, Silva exploited more once Ruiz was off in getting Mendes and Leao in-between the space he vacated leaving Porro isolated with either Leoa or Mendes ( almost like PSG 1st_leg all over again)... Thank you Tierney. Besides his injuries, he was a traditional LB that did not evolve much and couldn't fit into how Arteta played. Arteta likes his FB to invert and Tierney struggles with that. He was one dimensional with his attack but I thought he gave us a different approach, especially with his ability to overlap and whip in good crosses.

it's the difference approach he offered that appeals to me... The main problem last season is the team predictability ( look at how Enrique load-out the RHS in CL semi's)...he is the only full back Arsenal has that can actually put in good dangerous crosses

I am not necessarily swayed by TV intelligence, as there is no assurance that intellectual depth will transfer. Most players who played at the highest level would have strong tactical knowledge and can talk about it.

Inter are a really big fish, an environment where winning is the expectation every season. They are not interested in building a project that others will roof.

I really want to see what he achieves in his first season. I have a close idea on how he would play but can he push them to win trophies? I want him to succeed but I have also seen instances like this go South when young coaches make that big jump; most recently Thiago Motta (Bologna-Juventus).

I watched Como a few times last season, especially their fixtures again Milan and I was quite impressed.

However, Inter are a totally different prospect. I'd like to see how he manages such jump, especially in his first season.

I mean most of Como players are mid-30 and they still get along well.... You are right Inter is a bigger fish to fry buh his time as an TV Analyst shows he has depth...
