During Yaradua's tenure in PH city then we used to hear bombs blowing up pipes the crude oil production didn't reduce. Why did it reduce now that the only thing they're doing is bunkering? The government have sent soldiers and other defence bodies to portharcourt, currently there's no more black soot in PH which tells us that oil bunkering has reduced, so why isn't the government doing more? If Yaradua, a sick man with no military experience can tackle militancy, why can't Buhari a general tackle oil bunkering? igbotormentor: |
Engaged in june, married in July, it's not the 10 years engagement where they will still be "testing" if you're wife material. |
They said Tinubu will make $1=#1, I really want to know how that will happen. Honjoshy4u: |
Was it not during the government of Yaradua that militancy was at it's peak? I am from Rivers State. I know this things. Last year the government excuse was the low cost of oil and Buhari came into power promising to diversify the economy, it seven years plus 2 years of border closure still nothing. Right now because of the Ukraine war the price of crude oil is higher than it was in 2016, so why haven't there been any improvement in the economy? Why is the common man not feeling the effect of this current oil boom since the oil is being bought in dollars. igbotormentor: |
Under Jonathan we still paid debts but still dollars didn't have up to 400% increment that we've currently. Our manufacturing sector didn't collapse then because currently Nigeria imports more than before and that's strain on the already populace. Many manufacturer are currently shutting down because of the diesel hike and the economy will only get worse in the coming months. I don't think any export is "useless" as you say because exporting goods helps the economy. The forex we get doesn't go into anything you listed because it was on the news last month that NNPC haven't been remitting funds into the state coffers and our foreign reserve is pretty much non existent. If Buhari is as tough as a try to make him sound he should have done something about the bank rate and black market rates. In 2014 I changed 150,000 to $1000 black market rate difference wasn't even up to #2000 under corrupt and inept Jonathan. But today I bank rate is #490 while black market is #630. Moh247: |
But dangote refinery didn't exist before Buhari came to power and Nigeria have been importing fuel for over 2 decades but the price of dollars and pounds wasn't rising every week like we've now. Moh247: |
Mehn things are tough, things have really changed. I just spent #64,277,45 to buy £107 pounds worth of clothes on ASOS and this is bank rate, this is something that didn't use to cost up to 20k. Buhari economic policies have really destroyed this country. Food is on the HIGHEST, insecurity, students are home but they want to continue Buhari's"legacy". Economists in the house what can be done to fix this? |
I watched Arise TV this morning and I heard the APC guy saying how Tinubu will make the Naira equals to one dollar with his international connections. ![]() https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_JgFKfCtjFQ |
If it doesn't matter why do you guys keep reminding us that his wife is a pastor? And using military brutality to threaten people because of election? We're waiting.... ![]() naija4life247: |

And it's a good thing that 64% of voters don't have smartphones? Meet4UBTC: |
So why are you coming to tell us on social media? I guess APC supporters were born with PVCs attached to their hands. blackpanda: |
The answer to your question is this, if my uncle recommends me for a job, my uncle that I know will make sure I am qualified even if I am not qualified I will do well to learn on the job and not making excuses because I know my employers wouldn't tolerate insolence. If I will NEVER send my son on an errand when I know they wouldn't be able to perform or do a job on my behalf when I know they are not capable giving their past records. naija4life247: |
Because you talked about jamb. It's a simple statement. Till after the election you must keep selling your candidate, so why should we vote APC again? helinues: |
People decide to change their area of specialty, its not a new thing. helinues: |
Then again people go back to write even WAEC after tertiary education. So I understand, you have nothing to campaign on except emi lokan. helinues: |
Exactly what the northern political analyst on channels TV said, meanwhile the Northerner don't vote according to religious sentiments. I wonder how his supporters want to sell him to the other Southerners because according to them we're all IPOB. YinkaOlusesi16: |
Again nothing to say, how many Nigerians will you accuse of being IPOB,pigs, jealous or whatever? We need facts, why should we vote the man that brought in and gave a vote of confidence to the current disaster in Aso Rock? helinues: |
The people boasting about Lagos IGR never talk about Lagos debt. I saw Lagos State debt and I shouted, Jesus what a life! |
Wailing? Come on! You APC supporters are really childish. Come with facts, tell people why your party should be voted for again not this ad hominem. helinues:

APC supporters across board have nothing to sell their party on. It's either they're being insulting, dimissive or they use propaganda. APC was just a party formed by aging politicians with no ideology. I heard the president is against the Muslim-Muslim ticket and he was consulted but then again who cares what a man like Buhari thinks. If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power. Congratulations to Tinubu and Shettima! You've made your best choice which is your right and in 2023, NIGERIANS will make our best choice. We wouldn't reinforce failure.

Nigeria is a multi religious and ethnic country but for the past SEVEN years we've seen the country catering to the elitists of a particular section of the country because I've not seen the benefit a Fulani Muslim president have been to the common Fulani man. So, I listened to a phone call between the current APC Vice presidential candidate and Kunle, the plan of the Northern politicians in APC and Tinubu was for the South West and the North to edge out the South East and South South, the North will produce food which will be sent to the South West to be processed and at the end it will benefit them and we the other Southerners can go and "DRINK OUR OIL'. I am not a tribalist, never have been and never will be. So when I see people talk like this it shocks me. Someone wants to be president because it his turn, and the turn of the Yoruba people. It's ok and good but what benefit will it be to the common Yoruba people? You sold the south to the north because of your own personal ambition, that's what we should be talking about not the Muslim-Muslim ticket. The Muslim-Muslim ticket has always been in play, I've never spoken to Tinubu but I KNEW, so watching channels TV and hearing Daniel Bwala saying how Tinubu promised him it wouldn't happen felt like a joke. If APC had done well as a party, there will be no need for the tribal and religious politics. I listened to Tinubu's speech at the unveiling of his VP candidate and he was talking about Change AGAIN! what are we changing AGAIN? you claim your party has done well so why do we still need change?! |
They're also on Facebook. You've to contact them because it concerns your location and they will ask questions I can't answer. bjprodint1: |

Please contact the take it back naija group on Twitter. Thanks! |
I don't know what the hullabaloo is all about, since he won the APC ticket everyone with a brain knew he must pick a Muslim running mate. Even with the Twitter post he made denying this we all knew. What's shocking is that this is news. ![]()
|
They're not aware. They think the north is monolithic. Tinubu is just copying Abiola. He didn't choose an Hausa or a Fulani running mate but a Kanuri like Abiola. ![]() Thanksful: |
Like? Shugavee:
|
Shugavee, I am so sorry but you see 2023 election isn't an election of voting for the lesser evil. The only way APC wouldn't win is the youths, getting their PVCs and voting LP! Forward ever! Backward never! We will meet at polls.
|
You sound so innocent. Babe do you think Atiku is a "moderate" Muslim? Because he wears shorts? Go and read up on him. ![]() Shugavee: |
Atiku contributed to Buhari's emergence, if not men like Atiku, Buhari would've been forgotten. Shugavee: |
Better in what way? What makes you think that a man that has been running for presidency for 30 years will do better? What makes you think that a man filled with so much pride, he isn't even campaigning for his party governorship candidates will do better? A man that ran to Dubai and has been touring Europe will do better? Same man that criticized PDP, ran to APC only to come back and "chanced" the people that held the party together will do better because he has a Christian VP that hasn't even been a good governor in his state. You've not even answered my question, how do you feel about another Fulani Muslim taking over from Buhari a Fulani Muslim? Why should we accommodate a Fulani Muslim ticket but you're asking us to draw the line for a southern Muslim ticket? Shugavee: |
