Marianwao:So Rishi should open the UK border in order to please folks like you. You are so entitled. This is coming from the citizen of a Nation who pursued the Ghanaians in the 80s. No country prefers to be flooded by immigrants. They feel threatened that they will lose their cultural identities. Aside being Indian, high immigration was one of the reasons the conservatives lost. Rishi was not to blame but Boris Johnson and Nigel Farage who deceived the brits that once the UK was out of Brexit, immigration would be very low. Alas reverse is the case. Rishi also doled out billions of pounds sterling during the covid to help individuals and businesses which UK could never recover. It affects UK economy badly. This Labour Party will look for a way to reverse the tide of immigration to please the people. Mark it, few of those who immigrated will be given the indefinite leave to remain. I pity Stammer because he must start to impress the brits from the blast, and the right wing of his party will push him to the edge. The cracks will soon emerge. |
Faber:What an opinion! How can so much idiocy be deposited into one body. Some individuals are just so unlucky and unfortunate in this one life. |
Objectivist04:You are ill informed at the bolded. It is a 5-year term |
tishbite42:You just touted Rishi as a "clown" ?. If he was a clown, what would you be? Some people are born foolish. |
SmartPolician:You think wrong |
Inspirer1:Rishi Sunak is smarter than this Stammer. Rishi stabilized the shambled economy inherited from Liz and he was so bold about the direction he was heading. Starmer was evasive in some of his policies. Rishi literally annihiliated Starmer during the debate. Being Indian was the only thing against him which the Brits didn't like. I wish Starmer best of luck but I cant see him implementing lot of changes with his overwhelming majority in the Parliament. The knives will soon be out for him. |
SIRTee15:At the bolded, so going to Canada and the US is a breeze ? |
Adewale1603:Why do some of you type like idiots ?. Is it only Nigeria that gets flooded?. It’s your own life that is “scatter scatter”. Any little thing, to insult your country Dey always hungry you. |
FarmCEO1:You will go to jail too if you do not change your way. |
iwaeda:Nigeria agencies and lies. How can you calculate the percentage of the poultry that shut down in the country when you do not even have the database of the total number of Poultry farm in the country as well as the number that shut down. These are guesses from the agencies to show they are working |
nairalee:England has not played any stand out team. The draw favours them, like it did in the last euro where they got to the final. Had it been Slovakia coach had good football management, England would have been out. I hope the Switzerland brings them crashing to reality. Netherlands vs Turkey and Spain vs Germany are too close to call. |
fergie001:A future smart President can now unleash chaos on Americans using the official office as a cover. Americans can never seek redress for any injustice intentionally meted out to them by their President. Democracy changed today forever in the US by the partisan, extreme US Supreme conservative Justices. The United States now have a "king" as against the "president". The principle of no one is above the law is dead in the states. Shame! |
NoFoodToCook:That hunger will wire you. You have become shamelessly beggarly. Worst still you are sending a plea to faceless individuals who are dealing with their own demons. If you are eating lower than a rich man's dog and you could not really determine what is responsible for your situation, but still blaming the President of the country, then you are on a long thing. In this same Nigeria, we have some non political actors living fine and eating decently. Some of your mates are sending money to support their friends abroad. You have taken begging to another new colourful level. It is never easy anywhere, go out and start working. Learn to solve people's problems and get paid instead of shamelessly begging on the internet. |
I was just thinking that with the evidences presented by the UK and Nigeria newspapers and Oluwo estranged wife, why did the police not swing into action and invite Oluwo of Iwo for questioning at minimum. Everyone, including the Osun State Government seems to look the other way. In Nigeria, do we have two set of rules ? One for the rich and another for the poor ? Do Nigeria Police Force has to wait for petition to be written before springing into action despite overwhelming evidence? Why are we all pretending that it was no a big deal that a king accused of shoddy past could be enthroned as a King? I am a Yoruba and please do not colour the post with tribal slurs. Source: https://punchng.com/how-oluwo-of-iwo-was-jailed-in-the-us/ |
Hezzyluv:Don't fall into error of generalisation. Appreciate his good deed and move on. Were you in his head to determine what he was thinking? With people like the guy around, Nigeria still has an ember of hope. |
owukpa:Some nairalanders need brain reset. Why are people typing - “ even Benin “ - all in the name of scoring cheap political point. If you do the crime, you do the times. Americans , British are languishing in prisons in other countries all over the world. If you violate local laws, you will face the wrath of your host nations, What has this got to do with the President? Law abiding Nigerians are doing their businesses in the same country, peacefully. Some dudes here are so backward in thinking. |
Ezewuzie01:So you were fooled with that misleading video too. Shame. So, you didn’t see the original video showing the parachutists that Biden went to acknowledge but which was cut off in the frame by Trump campaign? |
Egoveen:I can vote for whoever I choose in the states. You do not enjoy same privilege. Go and face your Bvas. I repeat, you have zero electoral value in the states. |
Egoveen:You have zero electoral value in the States. It is out of place for you to make a projection. Face what is before you in Nigeria. |
Lovit:Don’t you think you are sounding more like Trump? A sore narcissist. |
. |
The worst of Biden is better than the best of Trump. Yes, Biden rambled and sounded incoherent at some points but trump was a pathological liar. He was fact checked and found wanton 26 times by New York Times. It’s up to the democrats now - either to stick with Biden or convince him to step down. Either way, the objective must not allowing that “evil” call Trump to be back in the Oval Office. The highlight for me was Biden calling Trump an “alley cat” and a “convicted felon”. That must have hurt terribly bad. |
God1000:Adam! Adam!! stop lying. Nigeria cares less about you. You are the least of the worry. No one will arrest you and you know that. If you die on the battle field, na your headache be that one. Don't deceive Russia in order to get citizenship. |
My own is that England should meet difficult opposition which will show them their true worth. They have the habit of dodging big opponents and moving up to the final. I hope it’s not so this time around. |
ijustdey:The problem with this country is how they award projects to these shady IT contractors. If they use the right infrastructure, the right security mechanism, that data will not be breached. These are sensitive data but you will be surpised that they are still storing the login credentials with just "username" and "password", which might not even be hashed. |
SUGARCyprian247:So, to you, it’s a case of my thief is smaller than yours. Your commonwealth is being looted with reckless abandon and this is all you could say. You cry everyday, complaining you are struggling , hungry and left with tattered cloth at your back, yet common sense does not dictate to you these are individuals responsible for your mysteries. Continue defending your tormentor. |
Abagworo:Do you get sense so? |
Fareke:Our inept lawmakers should rethink the role of CBN Governors. They have unfettered power and authority to the treasury. There is a need for that role to be in the eagle eye of EFCC for checks and balances. |
omonla10:Probably we don't roll the same. |
SmartyPants:What I realise is most people who are part of the middle class in Nigeria but who made wrong judgements to move abroad are really licking their wounds and depressed while those with nothing doing in Nigeria but who move abroad are struggling but still thankful. Every mallam to his kettle. The worst are individuals who are still in Nigeria, who only know about abroad through hearsay, they are the pathetic lots who argue blindly the most. |
omonla10:Thanks for the clarification. Glad you bought uniform for your wards before and you knew how much you spent per one. A uniform costs as much as 100 to 400 pounds brand new. Now that you mentioned you got others through "charity" (second hand use), I know lot of people here would be shocked that people could be looking for second hand uniform. Your move is smart and the earlier our people in Nigeria realise that movie is different from reality, the better. |
omonla10:Uniform is NOT free. It is very expensive. Shoes are NOT free. "If you know ur way" sounds like a Fraud. The qualities of the schools vary. Some schools over there are really bad - known for notoriety. Their grammar schools are solid but how many students make the cut. The secondary schools are mostly craps. |
