Ghana plays a more passionate football than Nigeria.

Super Eagle was simply disappointing today

Oshimen has said he would write his own history.

We can all see the kind of history he is writing.

Even if they win this match, they are coming back so soon.

CAF must be regretting crowning him the best african footballer.

Sanwo Olu must be angry for doing send off for these guys.

Nigerians go and buy calculator before it becomes expensive.

You will need it for qualification as usual grin grin

Nigeria from time immemorial always operates with effective wingers.

That is gone now.

Equitorial Guinea scores.

Well deserved

Osimhen de calm down. You DE try
I know a lot of people will come for my head, Oshimen has not been impressive.

I don't like his style of play, though I understand he is not getting much service. But I think we need striker that is combative, fluid and unpredictable with the ball at his feet. If he scores, my opinions do not change about him.

The entire team is not fluid.

We are dominating them
Equitorial Guinea is a small footballing nation where Nigeria is.

If not that we have dropped down in scale, Equiitorial Guinea should not have the dream of attempting to score.

Thank you.

Both Guinea Bissau and Ivory Coast are going no where.

Boring game of football.

SportsRe: Ivory Coast Vs Guinea-bissau: AFCON 2023 - (2 - 0) On 13th January 2024 by MT: 10:55pm On Jan 13, 2024
If not for the fact that the quality of Nigeria football has been watered down, we should just demolish this Guinea Bissau.

I remember the time of Amokachi the bull, Rashidi, Ikpeba, Oliseh, Finidi etc.

I know we will still need calculator to qualify.

Maybe as the tournament progresses, the quality of play will improve.

This is not worthy of an AFCON Match.

The colourful Ivorian fans look more entertaining than the players.

Is it because most of the players are playing the lower tier in their respective leagues, they have not been able to string sleek passes together.

It is all about strength so far.

Painful to watch

I missed the opening ceremony 😞 & yoh the speech prior to kick off was very unnecessary. That was such a borefest speech making the match start at 9:08pm.
Even on a stage like this, with the world watching, Africa could not start the match on the dot of 9pm.

Shame
SportsRe: Ivory Coast Vs Guinea-bissau: AFCON 2023 - (2 - 0) On 13th January 2024 by MT: 9:02pm On Jan 13, 2024
Why was the field looking rowdy when the teams were walking in?

Why did they start the match few minutes late? The first kick ought to be by 9pm prompt.

Africa needs to do better in little things like this

CareerRe: This Happened In My New Work Place. Please advice by MT: 3:07pm On Jan 13, 2024
Jackanda1:
I recently applied to work in an organisation.

After passing the interview and checks, the management was impressed and decided to hire and give me a major role in the company.

When i asked about the payment for my position, they threw me a popular question;
HOW MUCH DO YOU THINK WE SHOULD PAY YOU?

I gave them a figure in mind, a little above what i got in my former job. Their facial expression was 'WoW'.

I started work on tuesday and after making friends and chating the secretary, i found out that i earn twice less than the staffs in the company in the same position.

Infact, i earn a little more than the gateman and cleaner. The secretary even earns more.

Its my fault, should have done some checks on the strength and salary structure of the firm before applying.

I feel discouraged. With this information, i won't be able fuction properly. Plus this secretary with her loud mouth will spread the news in the company, making me feel worst.

Anyone with this experience? Please console me.
I am sorry but I doubt your story.

Any company that does that has set itself up for a failure. The company know you will ultimately find out.

If a company has budgeted a certain amount for a position, they will stick to it irrespective of your negotiation. Paying different salaries for same position will ensure the company is always searching the job market per second.
EducationRe: FG Unbundles HND Computer Science Across Nigeria by MT: 1:35pm On Jan 13, 2024
Sirchiboy:
The Federal Government of Nigeria has put an end to the study of the Higher National Diploma (HND) Computer Science across all the technical institutions operating in the country. This is to encourage diversification into the world of Computer Science and allow the country's graduates to access the wide space of the field.

The stoppage of the study of HND Computer Science across HND Awarding institutions in Nigeria is contained in a letter obtainable by The Round Table which was dated January 8th, 2024, and duly signed by Prof. Idris M. Bugaje, Executive Secretary, National Board for Technical Education, Federal Republic of Nigeria. The letter was addressed to the Director General, National Youths Service Corp (NYSC) while the Director General, Industrial Training Fund (ITF) and all Rectors, Provosts and Head of Polytechnics, Monotechnics, and all similar technical institutions were copied.

With this development, no HND Awarding institutions will be allowed to admit a new set of students to study Computer Science from the 2024/2025 Academic Session as the board projects to ease out the study of HND Computer Science by 2025.

Meanwhile, students who might have wanted to study computer science at the HND level can now choose from any of the four specialized areas floated from the former "Computer Science" discipline.

The four newly floated areas of specialization floated from Computer Science include HND Artificial Intelligence, HND Networking and Cloud Computing, HND Software and Web Development, and HND Cybersecurity and Data Protection.
Why not apply same to Bsc?

Also, is Database not a specialization on its own too?

South Africa is a member of BRICS and pursing BRICS POLICY towards the WEST.
Brazil is the only careful member of BRICS and I think there's a reason for that.
South Africa will self destruct.

I wonder why their citizens are not protesting their Government position.
Foreign AffairsWhy Is South Africa Opposing The Western World ? by MT(op): 11:54am On Jan 12, 2024
I will understand if any of the middle eastern nations take Israel to court.

Why South Africa ? Why is South Africa crying more than the bereaved?

South Africa is gravitating towards Russia and moving away from the western countries.

What is the end game? Why are they taking this position which might boomerang in the long run?
