Oshimen has said he would write his own history.
We can all see the kind of history he is writing.
Even if they win this match, they are coming back so soon.
CAF must be regretting crowning him the best african footballer.
Sanwo Olu must be angry for doing send off for these guys. |

Akwamkpuruamu: Osimhen de calm down. You DE try I know a lot of people will come for my head, Oshimen has not been impressive. I don't like his style of play, though I understand he is not getting much service. But I think we need striker that is combative, fluid and unpredictable with the ball at his feet. If he scores, my opinions do not change about him. The entire team is not fluid. |

If not for the fact that the quality of Nigeria football has been watered down, we should just demolish this Guinea Bissau.

Reussite: I missed the opening ceremony 😞 & yoh the speech prior to kick off was very unnecessary. That was such a borefest speech making the match start at 9:08pm. Even on a stage like this, with the world watching, Africa could not start the match on the dot of 9pm. Shame |

Why was the field looking rowdy when the teams were walking in?
Why did they start the match few minutes late? The first kick ought to be by 9pm prompt.
Africa needs to do better in little things like this |

Career › Re: This Happened In My New Work Place. Please advice by MT: 3:07pm On Jan 13, 2024 |
Jackanda1: I recently applied to work in an organisation.
After passing the interview and checks, the management was impressed and decided to hire and give me a major role in the company.
When i asked about the payment for my position, they threw me a popular question; HOW MUCH DO YOU THINK WE SHOULD PAY YOU?
I gave them a figure in mind, a little above what i got in my former job. Their facial expression was 'WoW'.
I started work on tuesday and after making friends and chating the secretary, i found out that i earn twice less than the staffs in the company in the same position.
Infact, i earn a little more than the gateman and cleaner. The secretary even earns more.
Its my fault, should have done some checks on the strength and salary structure of the firm before applying.
I feel discouraged. With this information, i won't be able fuction properly. Plus this secretary with her loud mouth will spread the news in the company, making me feel worst.
Anyone with this experience? Please console me. I am sorry but I doubt your story. Any company that does that has set itself up for a failure. The company know you will ultimately find out. If a company has budgeted a certain amount for a position, they will stick to it irrespective of your negotiation. Paying different salaries for same position will ensure the company is always searching the job market per second. |
Education › Re: FG Unbundles HND Computer Science Across Nigeria by MT: 1:35pm On Jan 13, 2024 |
Sirchiboy: The Federal Government of Nigeria has put an end to the study of the Higher National Diploma (HND) Computer Science across all the technical institutions operating in the country. This is to encourage diversification into the world of Computer Science and allow the country's graduates to access the wide space of the field.
The stoppage of the study of HND Computer Science across HND Awarding institutions in Nigeria is contained in a letter obtainable by The Round Table which was dated January 8th, 2024, and duly signed by Prof. Idris M. Bugaje, Executive Secretary, National Board for Technical Education, Federal Republic of Nigeria. The letter was addressed to the Director General, National Youths Service Corp (NYSC) while the Director General, Industrial Training Fund (ITF) and all Rectors, Provosts and Head of Polytechnics, Monotechnics, and all similar technical institutions were copied.
With this development, no HND Awarding institutions will be allowed to admit a new set of students to study Computer Science from the 2024/2025 Academic Session as the board projects to ease out the study of HND Computer Science by 2025.
Meanwhile, students who might have wanted to study computer science at the HND level can now choose from any of the four specialized areas floated from the former "Computer Science" discipline.
The four newly floated areas of specialization floated from Computer Science include HND Artificial Intelligence, HND Networking and Cloud Computing, HND Software and Web Development, and HND Cybersecurity and Data Protection. Why not apply same to Bsc? Also, is Database not a specialization on its own too? |

I will understand if any of the middle eastern nations take Israel to court.
Why South Africa ? Why is South Africa crying more than the bereaved?
South Africa is gravitating towards Russia and moving away from the western countries.
What is the end game? Why are they taking this position which might boomerang in the long run? |
