This Governor seems to like media attention so much. I hope this is not one of those white elephant projects. 17 billion no be small moni

Nigerian politicians like clout over basic things because their followers and citizens are used to lack of amenities. So, doing the basics for them makes them feel like it's a favor. Many don't even understand that it's tax payers money!

Nothing special though because it's a basic. All governors needs to do better than this.

True. He will soon see what he is looking for.

He should go to X and farm for engagement. At least, X will pay him for his fooling around. Seun won't pay nothing. He's laboring in vain.

Reality is that many in southeast won't vote for PDP if Obi is not PDP candidate. You are not on ground here in southeast so you have nn clue on what the voters priority is.

Now, you're emphasizing on my point that these guys needs to form an alliance. Seems you got my point.

You have no idea that many people that voted for Obi in 2023 won't vote for Atiku in 2027 if Obi decides to be his running mate.

Voters have their own priorities. You have not factored that in, hence your analysis is wrong.

People will decamp, show grievances, wail, etc., but eventually, emotions won't win you elections, reality will.

With the noise about Tinubu's forgery allegations, drug etc., he still went ahead to choose a Muslim as his VP. Shettima wasn't just a Muslim but someone with allegations leveled against him by the people also. Who won? Tinubu!

I still stand on my analysis that Obi, Atiku and others will form alliance if they want to win. They need to put their individual interests aside and be one big force!

2019 is not 2023. 2027 will also be different from 2023.

It's very good that they were caught, albeit bad for Nigeria's image. This shows that crime and violence is innate in some humans irrespective of their location. They should rot in jail!

MasterJayJay:

Align how? 2019, when he aligned with Atiku, why didn't PDP win? Is the destiny of Atiku tied to Obi?

Learn to read and understand.

The last election, Atiku, Obi and Kwankwnaso had more votes combined than Tinubu. Now, imagine if Atiku and Obi form an alliance. Politics is beyond anybody forming a bigger person. It's about using the available best resources to achieve your aim, which was what Tinubu did. He used the north to his advantage.

The three opposition candidates mentioned above couldn't defeat Tinubu as a private citizen. You think it would be easier to now defeat him individually as a sitting president?

Politics is a calculated risk. You need to be beyond book-smart or morally smart. You need polical smartness.

I have not had reasons to bother myself about it. Whoever that sold that idea to asiwaju at this critical moment is one of the country's major problem. Asiwaju cabinet are the real problem, down to the Senate president Akpabio. I still can't believe asiwaju is not meeting up to expectations. No this is not the asiwaju I know, something is wrong somewhere.

Still keeping hope alive

This has always been Asiwaju, just that being a president brought out the other side in a broader manner. Even when he was in power in Lagos, how did he generate money when he was denied allocation from Abuja? He was heavily taxing Lagosians.

Our government should invest in Agriculture and make the sector to be more attractive than political offices in Nigeria. Presently Nigerian youths don't want to be affiliated to farming due to lack of mentorship which has make that sector to be unattractive for many years
If government can standout to invest in young farmers and even buy the end product from them at an attractive price. What a good way it will be to solve the problem of unemployment and hunger nationwide.

You have a good point but however, the problem we have is not land or resources. The issues are webbed. Security, lack of modern-day technology, mentorship and the will to practice farming.

Military Land, please what do you think is the size of undeveloped military land? The described land is not even sufficient for military men interested in farming. Oh, really? The military is actually preventing Nigeria from external forces? First time I ever see a typical ipob admitting the military actually plays a crucial security role. Yet here you are, after typing the nonsense, concluded with "I wonder how y'all are wired this way". I bet your IQ competes favourably with that of baby goats.

Are there people still going to that Libya despite the horrible stories we read about those who have made attempts? Jehovah

Some are currently on the journey as we speak. Nigerians are actually not the biggest migrants -- be it legal or illegal route but sadly, we're the loudest. We're not even the richest among migrants but we're so fixated on frivolities.

They should face the wrath of the law. These are the type of bad eggs smearing the image of the nation on an international soil.

People should stop going to other man's country and become illegal.

Good move by the president. At least, fulani won't try shit in those farms cos I know, over 80% of the lands will be cultivated by military guys.

Do you know what it means for 80% of the land to be cultivated by the military personnels?

Does that make sense to you? Military personnels working as farm laborers? Is that their constitutional duty?

How many personnels do you have in Nigeria?

If majority of them are to be the ones to cultivate, then everyone in Nigeria is prone to more security risks from external forces. I wonder how y'all are wired this way. It's unfortunate.

My parents are living their best lives, so keep wailing.

Unfortunately for you, you never knew your parents because they couldn't hide their shame for bringing you to life as a product of incest.

Even in your next life, you can never experience what it feels to be raised by your parents and them seeing you make it in life, while they live and age gracefully.

I'm glad you're never gonna be able to have kids, so you won't continue where your unfortunate progenitors stopped. My last response to you, cretin!

Shalom!

Obi should align with Atiku and the north as a whole, if they truly want to defeat APC.

He can't win Tinubu in any election, even if it's conducted monthly.

Your last paragraph mirrors the present scenario in Eritrea. Thats why the west consider him a despot that ought to be ousted by all means.

During covid, Eritrea recieved no single drop of foreign aid or loans, yet it suffered no covid era peculiar problems.

I'm an admirer of the West but I always condemn their atrocities. It's sad that our leaders lack conscience, consciousness and empathy.
