What you did was so bad and wrong. Also, men should stop bearing the burden that's not theirs.

I still can't fanthom why I'd have such money and go for a lady that I will still brush up with money, when I can easily meet ladies in same league as me without assuming the role of their parents.

Do you mean that you don't want to have children of your own that you can share emotional attachments with ?

Can you focus on the main issue and not my personal life? I'd appreciate that.

U won't understand till u get there, I still believe u are under 45 yrs & there is no explanation I will give that will make u to understand, till u get older. I quoted u because I was once like u. One thing u should know is if it was better to live without kids or get married, ur parents wouldn't give birth to u, the society would have adopted this approach of singleness, moreover nobody wants to suffer, raising kids. But as u start approaching 50 yrs without a family or child, u will understand...

You're wrong, most of you are used to being emotionally needy and that's the reason it's always difficult for you to be alone or not around people.

This is more about psychology.

lol, the op's story is so emotional I can feel her pains.

She was honest enough to mention that she cheated, majority of ladies would cover that part and act all saintly to draw pity.

Any man that beats his girlfriend or fiance' or wife is a mad man. Why should you beat or lay your hands on a grown up person to start with?

I really don't understand why some useless men beat their wives, it reeks of stupidity and lowlife angry

She should leave the man but must have a discourse on the custody of the kids. But with the emotional and physical abuse she stated to be suffering from him, she should involve the law. She can't take those kids out of the country without their father's consent.

It is very interesting when u are young, but no longer interesting as you get older. Family is extremely important. The society is built out of the family, those things u see as important won't exist in the first place without a family unit.

Without being married or have kids, you will live a fruitful life, even when you're old.

It's wrong to have kids because you want someone to care for you at old age.

I like a kindred spirit, as well as folks with critical thinking and independent thinking, who don't do herd mentality.

You are an ass for saying JP is a good writer, he is beyond good. He's an excellent and legendary author.

I'll always love him for exposing my mind to a world of possibilities and helping to mould me into the woman I am today.

Critical thinking is an important element in my life and if I should have an offspring, he/she must be a critical thinker, no religious bullshit or indoctrination.

Sorry, James is truly a legend. Did you know he graduated with summa cum laude ? It was the book he co-authored with President Bill Clinton that made me like him. Bill Clinton has a special place in my heart; I've always liked him and followed his life ever since I became conscious of things.

Marriage is good, in fact awesome, but to reduce the chances of having a trouble marriage as a man, before you go into marriage, try and establish a sustainable means of earning income and also have a set/defined financial goal for your life and where you wish to be.

Then marry a lady that complements your life's goal or destination, and lastly pray for God's favour.

But financial stability for a man reduces the chances of having a troubled marriage.

I know entertainment celebrity marriages always end in divorce you may say, but its cos they live most of their life on media (makebelief, fake life, showoff).

Always take your marriage off media if you are financially successful as a man. Don't marry just for the fine body, consider upbringing and manner of the lady you want to marry. Some ladies and guys lack human conscience and empathy due to family upbringing.

Marry who get conscience and empathy and your marriage will never be troubled.

Well, you're right. I detest social media shït and noise. Anyways, whatever anyone's facing in marriage is none of my business.

There's nothing as interesting as being single, amass wealth and focus on other important things. This marriage thing will make y'all go crazy.

Make sure you leave that man but have an agreement on the custody of the kids. Kindly reach out to a divorce attorney.

Don’t blame them bro. Poverty is a real big disease here.

Most people are struggling to live so wasting extra money on Medicals looks stupid to them.
There are things people need to be doing but because of poverty and too many kids, they don’t.

Even insurance like NHIS and education insurance for kids are normal things parents need to do but poverty is too much.

Brother, poverty shouldn't be a reason they should become stupid. There's no excuse for foolishness. Why would two struggling adults come together to marry? Why would they breed like rodents when they know there's no finance?

At the end of the day, the kids will become menace to the society or whenever health challenges struck, they start running helter skelter.

So, no, I don't pity them. Read through many threads on here and see how young and struggling men are littering the forum with questions about if they should marry now all because of age. Imagine a 27-30 year-old struggling guy having marriage on his mind instead of focusing on financial stability.

Most people are the cause of their misfortune. If you're from a poor background, ensure you strive to break out, so as to make life easier for the future generations you are bringing in. In fact, the rich and the elites don't breed like rodents.

What if marriage is not for him?

Even if he gets married to the so called decent woman, as long as he'll be doing it out of pressure, the whole thing may end up in tears and the unfortunate part is that you won't be there to console him.

Stop having a discourse with that guy. Not everyone is logical.

Very very bro.

It is one of the silent killer diseases.

You won’t know you have not see any symptoms. Just blindness one day …Gbam

I have someone that's totally blind now because of it. It's hereditary; his father had it before his death. Sadly, people don't like going to the clinic but can go to church or mosque for days to pray for miracle or whatever they call it.

Well, I don't pity anybody that ends up battling with any health issues after series of advise to visit the clinic.

I do proper medical check-up yearly and will recommend it for nigerians to be doing it.

It is between 30-45k depending on hospital and location.

It is a standard offshore requirement for us and there are accredited hospitals we must use after which we are issued medical certificate.
They will do virtually all test including x-ray and EGC.
It is good to carry out this test because they detect early medical problems.
In 2017, they detected that i had too much fat in my heart through the EGC printout and recommended regular exercises and gym to me which improved in the 2019 reading.
If i wasn't doing these tests, probably would have slumped one day and people will term it as village people.

In 2020, i detected glaucoma also which have been using the eye drop. Imaging not carrying out these tests, i would have gone blind one day and it would be termed village people.

That glaucoma is a very bad eye problem.

It's so unfortunate.
