Every time, I always get this validation and conviction why great men of both science and religion were never BLACK.

This should be a shame on the Nigerian government. Allowing a foreign nation to drop a bomb on your soil meanwhile the governors of those regions are not interested in the security of those states. Nigeria and her people can't be understood.

You're getting it all wrong. I didn't say the leaders are to make anyone intellectual.. We do have lots of intellectuals in Nigeria and they somehow find their way out of the country because of very bad leadership that kills good dreams.
Don't be deceived by the loudness of the seemingly unserious youth who are only interested in cruise, we have an abundance of intellectual youths in Nigeria but most of them choose to leave because of poor leadership.

You're still blaming leadership for everything. How many of you consume intellectual contents? How many people are ready to sponsor intellectual contents? And with the advent of Tiktok makes it even worse because majority are always interested in fooling!

A lot of fooling on X just because of the payout buy Elon Musk monthly. People farm impressions by rage baiting, unverified news, allegations, controversies etc. Got worse that I needed to block several accounts till I cleansed my TL.

The government introduced a new tax rule and they keep educating people daily but sadly, bunch of dumb humans kept hawking fake news about the tax rule. And Nigerians are known to act before they think. So they tend to go with the fake news instead of watching interviews or breakdowns of the tax rule by Taiwo Oyedele and other people deployed to give out the real information. Nigerians don't read!

Leadership is not the only challenge you have. Many of the youth are intellectually lazy. Your leaders are not responsible to make anybody intellectual, curious or interested in positive things. What are the parents doing? What are the teachers doing?

Segun Oni contested on the platform of SDP. A party that barely existed in the state before the election. If he had contested on the platform of PDP as at that time, it would have been a different case.

I am aware of everything. The fact still remains that if PDP had given the ticket to someone more popular, Oni wouldn't have smelled the second position. Oni rode on his past political position.

Well, the sad part of the Nigeria situation is that it will keep getting worse regardless of the leader(s). What many people fail to realize is that democracy will not be effective for a long time in Nigeria if we keep using it unless there's a strong-willed leader that can be brutal!

Again you're right but this is true for every part of the world. People seek to escape their worries and they look for the unusual and the unserious. Even in America - Kim Kardashian and her clan, and a host of other cruise creators wouldn't have fame and money if it was only Nigerian youths that are not seeking intellectual contents.

The US, UK, and other part of the world are more developed and are already ahead of us in many things. Both the intellectual and fun side of these countries are booming and have no effect on the other.

If you want the best of education, you go to the west. If you need the best of fun, you go to the same west. Same thing can't be said about Nigeria.

This is a wonderful initiative but however, the digital age we are now is so unhygienic that kids don't even need to register before they have access.

For proper context, he was the major opposition candidate in the last governorship election. He came second losing to the incumbent governor.

He has no influence and power compared to the force he was fighting against. The incumbent governor had over double of Oni's vote.

Nigerians are never beating the allegation.

By the time the opposition parties in Nigeria are awake, it would be too late for them to realize that Nigeria is already a one-party state.

They should increase the wages of civil servants and pay them their gratuity immediately after retirement. Many retirees are languishing, battling poverty and sickness. Some are even dead.
