I still cringe at the fact that a person who was taught in English and wrote exams in English language from nursery to university BSC/masters degree level must "prove" that he can read and write in the same English language which also happens to be the Lingua Franca of Nigeria and the official language in every state.

Apart from the business model I don't see how this makes sense in 2025.

Then to make it worse, they put an expiry date to it. So if I pass writing and reading today will I suddenly forget how to read and write English in two/three years? Its rip off and these are the questions that our ministry of foreign affairs should be asking.

Perhaps we should also make foreigners that are applying for our visa to read and write in Hausa/Yoruba/Igbo etc before we give them visa??

Hold your Minister for Foreign Affairs, Minister for Education and Minister for Interior responsible. They all have to do something about this. It's appalling. Imagine non-English speaking countries asking you to provide Language Proficiency in English Language certificate meanwhile you have been speaking English all your life!

I want to apply for undergraduate studies, female, 29yrs+, and married.

1. Considering the age and marital status, can embassy grant visa to her?
2. As an undergraduate student, can you come with your spouse?
3. What is the first step towards making this application against January 2026 intake.
4. What other study route options to Bulgaria can she employ

These are basic questions that you could get the solid answers yourself via Google. A 29-year-old married woman should be able to make a little sacrifice in getting basic information like those you listed above.

But I always love all Xaomi phone I use , Even Xaomi 11t pro,Redmi 13 pro and 12 pro , Xaomi is not perfect as well but I'm always happy with one so I have decided to finally buy a top end Xaomi old flagship and try it as well, I'm sure I'll love it

The problem is I'm in osogbo and the phone is not available on osogbo only on Lagos

All my friend use iPhone and always see me as someone weird because I always have android phone around so when I told them I have 650k budget and I want to go to Lagos to get Xaomi 13 pro they said why I'm I troubling myself

But I can't see myself using Samsung or iPhone again, even pixel is not for me ,I only love Xaomi phone

I don't know if I'm doing something stupid by going all out to purchase the phone and continue to be an android guy,or just secumb to iPhone again

I'm someone who was never afraid to be different so this is not about peer pressure, it's more about if it worth the trouble of the trip to Lagos or I'm just about to do something stupid

Go and buy a Samsung phone. Also, if you insist on going to Lagos, you don’t need to. You can get a reputable store to sell to you and also handle the logistics to Osogbo.
