Ever since i heard about the 2face involved protest, i was not so enthusiastic about it. Reason: I do not see the protest achieving anything tangible. I will say, organizing a protest of such magnitude is not an easy task. So if someone is able to achieve that, then their must be a definite goal to be achieved, which in my own opinion is not there. Take a good example, the January protest during Jonathan's regime was clearly against the removal of subsisdy. Everyone knew that, and the protest achieved it purpose to a certain level. My take is, if we are going to protest, don't let's go out there just to say we want our voices to be heard. Let's go out there with a purpose. E.g... we want the government to reverse policies affecting forex, we want the cost of governance to reduce, we want a roadmap on stable power supply, or even we the youths wants to take over the government, not just by chanting songs of solidarity but by having action plans and people of verifiable integrity championing such cause. Until these happens, I think we will only be wasting our time protesting. This is also a call on the youths of this country to come together under one platform, strategize and devise means of taking power from these recycled old men and MAKE NIGERIA GREAT AGAIN. P.S Those celebrating the return of James Ibori....kontinuu, una never suffer reash. Cc: OAM4J Mynd44 |

Salam alaekum brother.... In as much as the religion is not against marrying ahlu l kitab as it has been explained by many responders.....I urge you to put a solid plan in place that ensures that your children will follow the footsteps of Islam...my brother... it is a difficult thing to do.....as the Yorubas will say.." Iya lo l'omo"....the woman spends the most time with the children and its easy for her to sway them to her own path...but if you've both had a mutual and binding agreement that the children will practise Islam, then you have a lot of work to do pennding the time she converts to Islam In sha Allah....I might not be objective enough coa most of the cases I have seen, 2 family friends precisely. The children ended up in the church...infact the father of one of the families used to lead our family asalatu group we had then....buy even at that, he couldnt fully win his own family to his side. ...I pray almighty Allah makes it easy for you and makes it an achievement for you to be able to convert your wife to be to the right path Salam Alaekum |

I just got these pictures from a friend of mine and was told that the sculptures were done from clay by a 15 year old boy who has had no training whatsoever on this. Me thinks this is raw talent and the boy should be encouraged and mentored.... Please drop your comments.

Seems this is a season of getting jobs. Fellow Nairalanders, if anyone tells you their are no jobs out there, tell them capital NO... Mouth watering jobs are out there ...just pray for that favour to locate you.. I just graduated from earning a low five digit salary to a better Six digit salary(This aint no show off) ...got my letter last friday and if you care to know, its one of the top FMCG's in Nigeria... I'd be earning as much as six times my previous salary... As a graduate...I started from the bottom, earning what some people pay for grocery shopping @ a go...but I never lost hope...I worked hard, believed in God..and he answered my prayers..... Moral of my story: Never despise the days of small beginnings. |
bobomoa@yahoo.com please do send to me.... Thanks |
poiu77:Holy Ghost!!!... This brother must be high on some spirit... It is clearly not of the Lord's though... Bros..take one Orijin for your commonsensical nonsense... ![]() |
Hmm..bro... Lemme tell you my story, I am a full fledged graduate..for over 2 years I've been earning 30k/month ...but I never lost hope and kept gathering experience on the job, but I can tell you in a matter of weeks I will be starting a job that will pay me almost x10 of what I've been earning... If I had ignore the 30k job, I wouldn't have earned the experience that qualified me for this new job...So my bro...if you understand yoruba...."Aforiti" is all that matters.... My advise...Take the job, gather the experience, build yourself on the job, pray to God...and your achievement knows no bound. |
As it stands now.... As-sabr is synonymous to 'Jega' .. The man just gave us a perfect example of what patience can achieve. JazakaLlahu akheeran O.P |
