To me the only issues with CMS sites is their low security status compared to sites coded from scratch with some other advanced technologies, even at that it doesn't mean cms sites are always vulnerable it only means that more security fortifications are required in most of them. gret response.

Well, as regards that "vulnerability", every application have their vulnerability no matter how you develop it. There will always be a bug to fix and update to release. It is very good to build your own platform. For instance, a custom application can be developed to work in a certain manner (talk of web apps like payment processors, you definitely can't use CMS like WordPress), but when all you need is just to publish contents (articles, posts, etc), why on Earth would you want to write a script for it when you can save time?

So, back to the vulnerability issues, every app will always have issues and the survival (and evolution) of such apps depend on how quickly it can be fixed. This is where open source software are excelling. WordPress has evolved and metamorphosised as a result of its "openness" which makes it available for hundreds of thousands of developers to fix bugs and release patches and updates in short time.


However, the problem we have in Nigeria is that we don't contribute well to open source softwares. ( I throway salute to the few Nigerians that are actually doing that anyway).

Bottom line: if it is not a custom application, then don't waste time re-inventing the wheel.

Well, it all depends on your budget. If you have $500 then follow that dude's advise. If not read on.

1. There are a lot of forum scripts you can use but it all depends on whether you want to DIY or Pay someone to DI4Y.

a. Simple Machine​ Forum As u can see, nairaland itself is built using SIMPLE MACHINE FORUM (that's the name of the script in case you want to know). If you like, you can use it is an open source.

b. WordPress (BuddyPress plugin): this will enable you to have a combination of website and forum. (If you don't have knowledge working with WordPress, you can simply Google out how to use WordPress to build website and you will be amazed)

c. Bbpress: This is also a great forum script. It is light weight.

First of all, I seen that you're using blogger and the template you're using is not responsive.

To solve your problem, login to your blogger dashboard.
>Click on template (refer screenshot 1)
>Select the Gear icon under the mobile (refer screenshot 2)
> change from "Custom" to any other mobile versions which are in-built. This will save you the trouble of your site not being responsive. (Refer screenshot 3)

PS: if you want a custom template that is responsive, I will recommend that you download templates from www.gooyaabitemplates.com #no-affiliates.

I just checked your site. I found that what you mean is that your post images are not showing with each post.

Solution;
After you are done with your post, instead of uploading your image/picture in th post, use the "Set Featured Image" option in the wp dashboard. This will enable the post to show image.

PS: I discovered that you publish only pictures in your site. This is not good enough because if you apply for Google AdSense with that kind of posts, Google will not approve it (which I believe you intend to do soon). So, make sure you write at least 350 words in your blog post.

I don't think you've done any of the things I asked you to do.
First, your first post I saw is very little, I mean article length is far less than 400 words.

Second, you've not changed the template as I've earlier instructed. (Although, this doesn't have much effect...)
Finally, there is a large blank space on top of your blog (mobile version).

However, your desktop version is okay...

Now, to change the default blogger to your custom template mobile format,
Login to the dashboard and change the mobile template from default to custom. Refer screenshots 1 to 3.
Template> Click Gear Icon close to "Mobile" > Select Custom> save

I'm sorry to give you this bad news, but if you can take action asap, you may not lose your Adsense account.

First, your blog design is messed up. (Refer screenshot 1).
Secondly, you're using explicit words such as "sex" in your posts, I think Google will not smile at you for this.
Thirdly, your articles are less than 400 words... this is also not good for your AdSense account.


Recommendations:
1. Change the design of your blog and make it smart (see this one: www.fabulousnuptials..com) . You can get free responsive blogger templates online. (Check www.Gooyaabitemplates.com).
2. Avoid use of SL such as sex, etc
3. Make your articles/posts to be at least 400 words length.
Finally, create great contents and remember to share your sites on social media....

If you can still login to your AdSense account, it means your account is still active. If you read my comment above very well, what I simply mean is that there are two basic types of AdSense: hosted and non-hosted.

Non-hosted Adsense allows you to use AdSense codes on all your websites.
Hosted AdSense only allows you to show ads on blogger/YouTube channels that you own.

Better. My experience with AdSense thought me lesson to find other means of getting revenue.., for instance, I offer advertisers PPC service on my site for as low as N1 per click and the advertiser can buy as low as N500 ad units to as much as he/she wants. I created a script that enables them to track the number of clicks that has been spent. And I have been getting good income from it. Some advertisers can pay as much as N20 per click, it depends on how important their campaign is.

It has given me the zeal and encouragement to work smarter and make more money. It is all about passion for what you do.

First of all, what platform is your site running on? WordPress? Joomla!? Drupal? Or Blogger?

1. If you're running on WordPress, congratulations! Just install a plugin called wp-pro quiz and you can start adding all your past questions.

2. If you're using Joomla, then you will need money to buy the quiz extension. Good luck with that.

3. If you're using Drupal, you'll need someone who's extremely skilled in drupal customization to help you.

4. If you're using blogger... well, I will recommend you use Google form to create your quiz and embed it... but it doesn't look too professional but at least, it will give you a headstart.

If it shows blank, it means your application is still under second review. It takes time for the Google Ad machine to understand the content of your blog in order to show relevant ads related to your content.

Well, it can be two ways;

Google AdSense Hosted account simply means you have an approved AdSense account through either
1Blogger Or
2Yotube.

1. If you have your AdSense approved through blogger and it shows "Hosted" (as shown in your screenshot), it means your account was approved through www.yourblog..com and that message means you can only display ads on your account. If you want to use other websites such as www.yourblog.com (which is known as TLD, you will have to apply for that and submit the site).

2. If your AdSense was approved through YouTube channel, it means you cannot even display ads on your blog except only on YouTube.

If number two above is the case, you will need a TLD that meets up with G-webmaster policies as well as Adsense policy before you can display ads on your blog.

Thanks for your feedback, I use blogger, so which do you suggest is reliable for me.

I thought you were planning to design an affiliate system...
But when I went through other reply, I found out you have a blog and someone wants to promote their products on your site, right?

If that's the case, you will need something else....

Firstly, on blogger, you cannot create affiliate. You can only advertise their banner and monitor the number of clicks on that banner (this only works if your client will pay for PPC).

However, if you want to measure conversion rate, I.E, you want to know if your visitors that click on your client's banner ads actually purchase an item from that client, you will need something bigger (may not be too expensive if you can develop the script or you can buy the script - that's the expensive part).

But if your client is ready to pay for banner ads (I mean PPM and PPC), then you can use a method I call "click track"

Click track: this is how I will go about it if I were you:

First, I will get my client's website URL and shrink it on any URL shorter (note, you need to sign up and login to be able to track the number clicks on the URL)

Second, I will insert the client banner ad on my blog and I will link it with that URL (eg <a href="http://myhsorturl/" target="_blank"> <IMG SRC="banner_ad1" alt="banner ads" width="450px" height="450px" /></a>

I can then be monitoring the number of clicks in that URL by signing in to my URL shorter account ( eg bit.lay, , etc)
If you want your client to see the number of clicks, you just let them have access to that URL shrtn service.

However, if you're using WordPress hosted on your own cpanel, then you can download affiliate plugin. With that, your client will have more advanced usability. And you too will enjoy it. But on blogger, you can only maneuver just as I explained above.

I have been reading through most of the posts in NL webmasters section and ,most of things that I saw draw down to the same direction: Google AdSense. I asked myself, why is everyone thinking in only this direction? First, getting Google AdSense account has become so tough that majority of bloggers,especially newbies, can kill for it. Once someone opens a blog, the first thing they think is Adsense. I was reading one article sometimes back and something stuck in my head: 'think of something that adds value to life. Expect less from it and you will be happy'.

Most bloggers have prioritized getting AdSense account over creating something that has value, something that people will appreciate. I remember a quote from the Indian movie 3 idiots: "follow excellence and success will follow you pant down". It simply means if you put money first in your doings, your vision gets clouded and you end up not getting it. So, why should you, as a new blogger be too much interested in making money when all you can offer is to copy and paste articles/news from another source? Instead of that, focus on creating something cool, new, awesome and amazing. Spend your time to develop yourself, your skill and your blog. Make it unique. Make it different.

A wise man once said "success comes not by wishes but by hard work". So, for you to start thinking of how much you can make, ask of what value does your blog provides and what's its worth?.

Finally, think of other source of revenue and stop being desperate. What's the use of a Google AdSense account that you bought only to be terminated after some couple of months. Or, what's the use of AdSense account you both and you are still in the rat race to make it to your first $100 dollar pay in donkey months?

So, let's all be wise and think outside of the box. Let's be creative in our thinking and let us be more...

Also, wp woo commerce plugin also enables you to add extension for affiliate.
Finally, you can use drupal uc commerce + a module called userpoint and a host of others...
