Secularism is a new philosophy and a
corrupt movement which aims to separate
religion from the state, and focuses on
worldly matters, and worldly desires and
pleasures; it makes this world the only goal
in life, and forgets and ignores the
Hereafter. It pays no attention to deeds
pertaining to the Hereafter. The words of
the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be
upon him) may be applied to the secularist:
“Wretched is the slave of the dinar and the
slave of the dirham and the slave of the
khameesah (a kind of luxurious garment
made of wool with patterns). If he is given
he is pleased and if he is not given he
becomes discontent. May he be wretched
and doomed, and if he is pricked with a
thorn may it not be pulled out (i.e., may he
have no help to remove it).” Narrated by al-
Bukhaari (2887).
This description includes everyone who
criticizes anything of the teachings of Islam
in word or deed. The one who rules
according to man-made laws and abolishes
the rulings of sharee‘ah is a secularist; the
one who permits forbidden things such as
adultery, alcohol, music and usurious (riba-
based) transactions, and believes that
forbidding them is harmful to people and is
narrow-mindedness which causes people to
miss out on some benefits, is a secularist.
The one who ban or objects to the carrying
out of hadd punishments such as executing
the murderer and stoning or flogging the
adulterer and the drinker of alcohol, or
cutting off the limbs of the thief or bandit,
and claims that carrying out these
punishments is inhumane, or that it is cruel
and abhorrent, also comes under the
heading of secularism.
With regard to the Islamic ruling concerning
them, Allah, may He be exalted, says,
describing the Jews (interpretation of the
meaning):
“Then do you believe in a part of the
Scripture and reject the rest? Then what is
the recompense of those who do so among
you, except disgrace in the life of this world”
[al-Baqarah 2:85] .
Whoever accepts whatever suits him of the
religion, such as laws on personal and
family matters, and some acts of worship,
and rejects whatever does not suit him, is
included in this verse.
Similarly, Allah, may He be exalted, says
(interpretation of the meaning):
“Whosoever desires the life of the world and
its glitter; to them We shall pay in full (the
wages of) their deeds therein, and they will
have no diminution therein.
They are those for whom there is nothing in
the Hereafter but Fire; and vain are the
deeds they did therein. And of no effect is
that which they used to do”
[Hood 11:15-16] .
The aims of the secularists are focused on
worldly accumulation and pleasures, even it
it is haraam and even if it prevents them
doing the obligatory duties. Thus they are
included in this verse and in the verse in
which Allah, may He be exalted, says
(interpretation of the meaning):
“Whoever wishes for the quick-passing
(transitory enjoyment of this world), We
readily grant him what We will for whom We
like. Then, afterwards, We have appointed
for him Hell, he will burn therein disgraced
and rejected, ( far away from Allah’s Mercy)”
[al-Isra’ 17:18] .
And there are other similar verses and
hadeeths. And Allah knows best.

The Islamic State media outlet does not hide its
propaganda on who they kill. They widely
propagate their execution with high quality glossy
videos and keep noted documents of it. The
internet is full of IS execution videos, particularly
of which areas they took over, who they have
captured, and who they are executing. Even
Western intelligence and experts admit to this.
So why is it that NONE of their civilian executions
are caught on tape? If they are not afraid to hide
who they are killing, where is the evidence? It’s
quite simple, the ‘civilians’ they are killing are
actually the soldiers and agents of their enemies.
The IS has a policy of executing their POW. They
make this well-known. While some of the other
factions fighting against the Assad regime in
Syria may be more lenient towards their captors,
Islamic State does not have any such policy.
Their reasons for being so adamant is due to the
atrocities they have experienced for decades
under the hegemony of the United States and the
Assad regime. The Islamic State is simply
applying the Islamic ruling to those who have
committed heinous crimes against an innocent
population. Why is it that their justice is
constantly under a microscope? We are quick to
judge while having no evidence.
Take for example a famous video which was
broadcasted on all major media outlets to show
the ‘brutality’ of Islamic State’s policy on
civilians. It is purported to show that IS were
killing Shia civilians on highway drive by
shooting. (Source: Al Furqan Media – Clanging of
the Swords) If one were to watch the whole
documentary of the Islamic State which the clip
was taken from, they would know that those who
were being targeted were Iraqi Gov’t members
who took part in oppressing the Sunnis of Iraq.
They were selective targets from a list the IS had
obtained. The people targeted were known
criminals of the Iraqi government.
Then there is another clip (Source: Al Furqan
Media- Cutting Assads Supply Line) which shows
a transport truck being pulled over on a highway
by the Islamic State. The Allawite men are being
questioned. Some of the questions are of
religious nature. Then they are shown being
executed. Once again, if one watched the whole
documentary, they would have seen what the
members of the Islamic State found out from the
documents obtained of the truck drivers. They
were on route to transporting military gear for
Assads army. Does this make them khawarij? If
they applied their state law to these people whom
they charged with a crime, why don’t they have a
right to administer justice on their terms,
especially if they’re applying the Shar’ee rules?
If the Muslims are sincere and neutral minded
from the media propaganda, and would like to
find out for themselves the truth, then we suggest
to them a watching a small clip from the
documentary on Youtube called “The Light
Revelations Part 23”. In that clip it clarifies:
1. Is it the policy of Islamic State to kill Muslims
and innocent civilians?
2. Do mistakes of mujahideen bar them from
being Muslims who deserve baraa’ and being
distanced from by favoring the murtadeen and
kaafireen?
3. Does the fitnah between two Muslim groups
make one khawarij?
4. Was the fight between Ali r.a. and Muawiyah
r.a. a fight between a Muslim and a khawariji?
5. Does Islamic State kill who they do not agree
with?
6. Did Islamic State order circumcision upon all
women of Mosul in Iraq?
7. Did Islamic State order the beheading of
children?
8. Does Islamic State commit “Genocide”
“Massacre” of Christians?
9. Does Islamic State force non-Muslims to
“Convert” or “Die”?
10. Does Islamic State order the rape and murder
of Yazidis?

The grave consequence of accusing Muslims of
being an agent of the kuffar is basically making

cautious when accusing others of being agents or

The fact is that there is widespread tolerance for

opposed to something which is legislated by Allah

"The People will soon summon one another to
attack you from every place in the same way that
a pack calls around its prey” Someone asked, “Will
that be because of our small numbers at that
time?” He replied, “No, you will be numerous at
that time: but you will be froth and scum like that
carried down by a torrent (of water), and Allah
will take the fear of you from the breasts (hearts)
of your enemy and cast al-wahn into your hearts.”
Someone asked, “O Messenger of Allah , what is
al-wahn?” He replied, “Love of the world and
dislike of death.” [Reported by Abu Dawud &

Reflecting on this hadith we can clearly see how
the United States Government, Syrian
Government, Russian Government, Iranian
Government, as well as the Saudi Government all
are gathering to attack the Islamic State. Saudia
Arabia has said it would allow the presence of US
aircrafts to have airspace rights.
“On the military front, the State Department
official said regional defense ministers would
meet soon to discuss expanded basing and
overflight rights so the United States and other
nations could broaden their airstrikes against
ISIS.” 1
Many of the Arab nations have agreed to provide
some sort of support to the United States on its
newest mission. There is no deception in Islam.
What these Muslim nations have signed up for is
to sell their souls to the enemies of Islam. Islam
makes it crystal clear of the prohibition of allying
with the disbelievers to fight Muslims.
Certainly, Palace Scholars will emerge from every
direction, looking to pick up any crumbs of
acceptance that the kuffar will give them. Why is
it so difficult for these $cholars to tell the truth
for once?
Based on the clear verses of the Qur’an, any
Muslim nation, including its armies, that join the
armies of the kuffar, provide bases and any sort
of intelligence to the coalition, has committed
apostasy. Muslim scholars who encourage joining
the disbelieving coalition or being under their
leadership and command to fight the Islamic
State have committed the highest sin of apostasy
(kufr).
Any Muslim(s) around the world who bang the
drums of war for Obamas marching band will be
walking the line of apostasy. Muslims should seek
a meaningful Islamic perspective before making
any judgments on other Muslims who are trying
their best to establish a society based on Islam.
These people have lived under oppression for
decades but we immediately write them off as
khawarij despite lacking evidence to say so.
Allah subhana wa ta’Ala says in t he Qur’an:
[b]"O you who believe! Take not My enemies
and your enemies (i.e. disbelievers and
polytheists, etc.) as friends, showing
affection towards them, while they have
disbelieved in what has come to you of the
truth (i.e. Islāmic Monotheism, this Qur’ān,
and Muhammad SAW), and have driven out
the Messenger (Muhammad SAW) and
yourselves (from your homeland) because
you believe in Allāh your Lord! If you have
come out in My Cause and to seek My Good
Pleasure, (then take not these disbelievers
and polytheists, etc., as your friends). You
show friendship to them in secret, while I am
All-Aware of what you conceal and what you
reveal. And whosoever of you (Muslims)
does that, then indeed he has gone (far)
astray, (away) from the Straight Path. [60:1]
O you who believe! Take not as (your)
Bitanah (advisors, consultants, protectors,
helpers, etc.) those outside your religion
(pagans, Jews, Christians, and hypocrites)
since they will not fail to do their best to
corrupt you. They desire to harm you
severely. Hatred has already appeared from
their mouths, but what their breasts conceal
is far worse. Indeed We have made plain to
you the Ayāt (proofs, evidences, verses) if
you understand. (Aali Imran 3:118)
Let not the believers take the disbelievers as
Auliya(supporters, helpers, etc.) instead of
the believers, and whoever does that will
never be helped by Allah in any way… [3:28]
” And when it is said to them: “Make not
mischief on the earth,” they say: “We are
only peacemakers.”[/b] [ 2:11]
Even if one disagrees with Islamic State, Islam
does not allow the alliance with the disbelieving
army to fight them.
“And if two parties or groups among the
believers fall to fighting, then make peace
between them both, but if one of them
rebels against the other, then fight you (all)
against the one that which rebels till it
complies with the Command of Allāh; then if
it complies, then make reconciliation
between them justly, and be equitable.
Verily! Allāh loves those who are
equitable.” [49:9]
“The believers are nothing else than brothers
(in Islāmic religion). So make reconciliation
between your brothers, and fear Allāh, that
you may receive mercy.”[49:10]
Islamic State are the KHAWARIJ?
This seems to be the so-called factor that makes
every Muslim turn their backs on the mujahedeen
who have sacrificed their lives to bring about
honor and dignity back to the Ummah, and
defend the oppressed people of Iraq and Syria.
How easily do the Ummah forget the atrocities of
the US government of human sanctions in the
early 90s which have killed over 500,00 Iraqi
children due to starvation. Then the WMD that
were dropped on them which killed another
100,000. How easily they forget the treacherous
Shia gov’t of Maliki which the US put upon the
Iraqis that brought about the Shia Death Squads
who killed and tortured many women and children
with electric drills. How easily they forget Assad
and his Shabbia Thugs that killed, and tortured
Muslims of Syria.
Who were the Khawarij 2
The Khawarij made takfeer of the sahabah– The
Islamic State not only refuses to make takfeer of
the sahabah, but are from the foremost of people
in defending their honor, fighting the Rafidah
Shi’ites and the Allawites.
The Khawarij made takfeer of Muslims due to
sins—Nowhere in the actions or statements from
any of those now slandered with the moniker
“Kharijee” do we find such innovated belief.
The khawarij separated from the jama’ah—The
Islamic State have called for the Muslims to unite
upon the truth, and fight the enemies of Islam
such as the secularists, Ba’athists, and the
Rafidah.
The Khawarij rebelled against the legitimate
Muslim rulers who ruled according to Share’ah,
based on sins or what they perceived as such—
The Islamic State has not rebelled against any
legitimate authority. In fact, they have been
fighting the corrupt regimes and actually have
military power to fight them instead of rag-tag
attacks which cause no benefit. Islamic State
fights them due their ruling according to man-
made laws instead of Share’ah, and their
cooperation with the enemies of Islam.
The Khawarij fought Muslims and left alone the
kuffar—The Islamic State are fighting the
foremost enemy of Islam, the head of kufr, shirk,
and apostasy. Wherever there are Muslims being
oppressed by the kuffar, they are sent there for
its liberation.
Let’s take a deeper look into the propaganda of
this claim that they are killing civilians, raping
women, or even the claim that they are ‘CIA’
agents. We want to present the ‘other’ side of the
story. Before we expose this propaganda, we
must question our sources for news. The same
Zionist propaganda press that lies against
Palestinians is responsible for disseminating lies
against the Islamic State. Everyone agrees that
the ground situation in Gaza is wholly fabricated,
yet we are quick to believe this same source
when it comments on the Islamic State? Why
trust the same source on one issue and not the
other? We need to have an open mind and realize
