Now ASUU will count the cost before going on strike.

Apc had succeeded in fixing ASUU strike permanently.

The students looses 8 months of thier time
Lecturers looses 8 months salary

No cheating!
You're a big fool

But why on Earth would FG agree to pay these people for neglecting their duties and wasting students time, I thought Buhari would stand firm and do the right thing, people can't abandon their duties for 9 months and be rewarded with a largess. Buhari has failed us

Education / Re: End In Sight For ASUU Strike As FG Reviews ‘No-work No-Pay’ Policy by Mullernobi(m): 10:05am On Sep 07, 2022
hotseat:
The no work, no pay policy is an evil legislation meant to subjugate the workforce without providing an option of opposing issues that affect them and the entire system.

Simply put, the no work, no pay policy is inherently meant to enslave the workforce in perpetuity without an option of protest or embarking on outright strike action no matter how unpleasant the work environment is.

It is a colonial mentality policy!

It is a tool meant for enslaving workers and must be abrogated forthwith.

Imagine a shameless FG, refusing to honour agreements voluntarily arrived at with ASSU since 2009 and some uninformed persons have the temerity of calling ASSU, a reservoir of academics and intellectuals, unprintable names over the ongoing strike.

FG, do the right thing joor!
God bless you dear

So ASUU wants to collect payment for the months they didn't work? Never. They must suffer with the students they're holding to ransom.

As a student, I 100% support no work no pay. Why should they be paid?

What did they do in the past 6 months aside running their side hustles and lecturing in private universities and state universities which were not affected by the strike?

So students would be the only ones who'll bear the consequences of their useless strikes? Una never see anything.

What a bunch of idiots. Not like they even teach anything. Rubbish.

They should resume from where they paused before.the strike and go from there.

No work, No pay baby! cool

The federal government can never and will never dare to withhold salaries of ASUU members. Wake up, bro
Education / Re: ASUU-FG Meeting Ends In Deadlock, Strike To Continue by Mullernobi(m): 8:27am On Aug 17, 2022
*FG-ASUU Last Night Meeting and Speculative Journalism*

A lot of fake news about FG-ASUU meeting is circulating on many social media platforms. Journalists were not given opportunity to be part of the meeting. So, all they churned out are speculations.
National Strike Cordinating Committee (NSCC) meeting is scheduled to hold tomorrow by 7p.m. Afterwards, branch congresses will be summoned where FG-ASUU's meeting outcome will be conveyed and congresses members are expected to decide on what FG offered.

It is very unfortunate that journalists don't understand the procedure of ASUU calling off strike action. It was expected that after FG-ASUU meeting last night, ASUU would suspend strike. So, for them (journalists), anything short of this, is *deadlock* Journalists still don't understand that branches would meet before any decision will be taken by National. So, at the end of the meeting, journalists were not hinted on what happened, so speculative journalism and *deadlock* were reported.

This is the developments so far.

ASUU destroying life of students out of their selfishness.

They're Only fighting for themselves and not students. None of their demand will benefit student directly.

Your statement is very unfortunate
