Guestlander: You are contradicting yourself. No citizen would do such then you said the government must have encroached on his property. What is it with tearing down things? I meant that no citizen can destroy government properties without a reason. They should find out from him since the name is there for all to see |

No citizen can dare destroy government properties. Instead of FG to tell us the full story but as usual it was one - sided.
I believe the FG must have encroached on the man's land without compensating him, prompting him to act the way he did.
Following due process on things can go a long way in making this country a better place for everybody. FG should compensate the man, it is his sweat. |

Beey: I’ve never understood why in this day & age people cannot pass a message online without insults. What has father & son ruling got to do with being bastards? Do you know the meaning of the word? Kenya is a democratic state & Kenyans voted Uhuru Kenyatta because they saw a president in him & it had nothing to do with his late father.I don’t know how you describe backward in your vocabulary but am curious to know how many Kenyans you’ve met in person or you’ve just heard stories. Let’s leave behind archaic habits of communicating disrespectfully on social media. Let’s behave like learned people please.Yes am a proud Kenyan. Don't mind him my dear. He's not well trained Are you single? |

Charles9ice: Can't wait for 2023 to come for this man regime to come to an end, at least, things will be better than what we are experiencing now. How can you be so sure about that? That things will get better In life, enjoy what you have when you can because it might be the best for you that moment. Same was said about Goodluck Jonathan. That he was the worst. Now Baba came in, everybody started shouting. Though he is fighting corruption but the thing is increasing at his watch. So far, Buhari has done well in terms of infrastructural development (Roads, Airports and Railways).Take it or you leave it. |

I am just new to buying stocks on the NSE and wanted to know if it's normal. It obviously isn't. My guy you sure say you new for stock? How come you come chose the best stock for stock exchange market buy? Meanwhile I duff cap for DANGCEM...Congratulations to those who buy earlier. |

Josh121: You just dont get it , no one is discouraging you but just remember stock trading is not like Fix deposit , you can lose all the 50k and you will have to pay your sister back , people have lost millions including me. If i where you I will send back her money or you teach her to trade by herself . Dont think of the profit from 50k cause you will end up asking yourself what you did . Remember this is Stock market and not Bible study class . Your faith cant increase the volume or price of any stock Patience is all we need when dealing with stock market. Meanwhile I have understood where you are coming from. Gracias |

seyisanya: No etiendo! What's not in your blood?
I meant you should return the money to the owner and show her how to invest herself. If you decide to buy Zenith stock, as advised by Ojesymsym, in whose account will you buy it? If you buy with your account, how will you account for the capital appreciation(or depreciation-nah here kasala go burst. E go shock u say 50k fit cause gbege between twins sef ), interim and final dividends?
Well, all the best! You know I have searched all around, the thing favours me cause I am using my account to trade the stock. If na you, tell me what you will do? Will you be like the parable in the bible who was given 1 talent to trade with, he went and buried it on the ground, waiting for his master to return? As for me, I can and will be like the the one they gave 5 talent, who invested it and made another 5 talent. Let's leave the matter biko. Cheers |

seyisanya: You must have told her about some paper gains you made without explaining what stock investing is and how it could go either way(gain/loss) in the short/mid-term horizon. Stock is mainly a long term venture, don't be carried away with the JIJO that you sometimes read here.
Return her money and guide her on how to open a trading account. Show her all you've learnt(FA, TA, etc) then help her with stock picks for a start.
All the best to her. Alright! I will try. Thanks so much Let's not talk about refunding any money because it is not in my blood |

OakPearl: 1. That you can now fund your Trove account and start trading. 2. Your US stock trading account is domiciled with DriveWealth LLC, a US licensed broker. 3. Your Nigerian stock trading account is domiciled with ARM (Assets & Resources Management), a Nigerian broker. 4. If you want your Nigerian trading account to be managed directly, they are asking that you contact them.
2 and 3 above is so because trading in any stock exchange around the world must be done by licensed stock brokers and Trove is a Fintech that helps investors trade in global stocks where the investor being a non-resident, may not be eligible to deal directly with a broker in the Exchange he/she wants to trade.
This is why it is more expensive in fees charged if you trade domestic stocks through fintech apps vs if you trade through a broker for Nigerian stocks. Just go ahead and start investing in the US market as that is the main reason you have registered with them. OK Sir! What do I do? Leave it the way it is? Because I want to use Trove for US stocks only |

gamaliel9: For me owning a fractional share is psychological...as if you belong. SAVE ENOUGH MONEY AND BUY FULL SHARE. If you gain one dollar, you see it and rejoice ...you also get full dividend. and you can also buy with limit order instead of market order
Remember, buying fractional shares does not prevent these fintechs from collecting the FULL FEES. Hi, am a beginner on US stock markets. The minimum amount to use in buying US stock is how much pls? And again if shares bought didn't go your prediction, can someone wait till the price goes up before selling? Thanks in advance |
