MumDiamond: I also spoke to her about features;, mummy’s skin colour, mummy’s pointed nose, mummy’s white teeth (for later) but daddy’s hair! Mummy’s hairline is ridiculously annoying.
I checked her weight 2 days ago, she’s 3.38kg. Is that too big for vaginal delivery? I want to know so I can make decisions on time. I have barely a week to go. Guys! My baby is finally here. She came in yesterday around 5:50pm via vaginal delivery through induced labour after about 10 hours of labour pain weighing 3.5kg giving me some tears. She looks like me quite alright, but decided to go for daddy’s skin colour and hair Cappo Mzleemah, I don born omote o. BS coming as soon as I can. |

I just called him from work to get me party jollof when coming back. I know he’ll get it from an eatery(I could manage it if it smells nice), although i’ll prefer an owanbe jollof. I don’t even mind gate crashing a party for that.
Some men think it’s intentional. I can’t speak for all women but some of us don’t fake it. At the moment, I extract water from the dispenser, then put in the freezer because it has to be iced block(I could never take cold water before), I eat agbalumo anywhere I see it. Before, I could never buy it with my money. I have many unfinished food in the freezer; porridge yam, palm oil stew, groundnut oil stew, agidi, ogbono etc...When the craving comes for them again, I’ll revisit.
Many times, it’s not intentional. A woman needs support at this stage of her life. There are so many things she can no longer do for herself. It’s not easy to carry another human inside of you. As a husband or friend, assist as much as your power can carry. Don’t worry, it won’t last for ever. |

I wish all the remaining belleful mama safe delivery. BS coming soon Congrats Cappo! Team Feb has snatched our own cappo, una strong o. Welcome to your lovely son. We await your BS. I’m almost 37 weeks gone. I was talking to my doctor yesterday, I told him that I want my baby to chill small. She should come at 40 weeks. Mama is still prepping, haven’t even packed hospital bags yet (laziness). I’m so looking forward to meeting her, but then, my darling, please hold on a little. I also noticed that it has been increasingly difficult to walk these days. If I sit down for too long and stand up, I feel this heaviness around my pelvic area. Same with when I lie down, I can’t turn easily like I used to. Getting up from bed as well is no longer as easy as it was. When I asked my doctors, they said it’s normal at my stage. But I haven’t heard anyone complain about it. Please is there anyone going through this? |

Please try to answer roll call so that we will know how you are fairing. Cappo, I’m good o. So I just developed a new habit. I’ve arranged my baby’s wardrobe. Placed her clothes in one drawer, diapers in another, creams and oils in one drawer etc. These days, before I go to work, I open the one that contains her creams and oil and smell it. When I come back from work too, the same thing, before I sleep nko, same. It makes me feel real good. At times, I pick her socks and hold it close to my chest. My husband is tired of me |

miraclebaby: You must not change hospital dear. You can tell your old hospital you want to switch to your HMO. Truth about HMO is that if anything isn't covered on your list, the hospital will inform you and you pay. So there's nothing with them rationalising treatment as theirs is to treat you and the HMO will pay all they're supposed to cover. I once had ear infection and doctor said my ear needs rinsing. After my treatment, the HMO office has closed so I was advised to pay since they're not sure it was covered and return for my money the next day so they'll confirm and get my money back. My dear, the next day I went and was given back my money. I paid nothing but my transport and all treatment was covered. In fact, most family package covers all antenal and birthing costs whether natural or CS Thanks mama |

I pray that God visits you once again sooner than you expect. This time, you will carry to term and bring forth your baby alive and kicking... Amen |

Mummy4life1:
I dey enjoy my HMO money biko.
But sincerely speaking, I think all pregnant and nursing mothers should try and get HMO. It reduce stress and it save the family from extra cost.
Madam, my one year HMO saved me from spending extra cost on the following list below:
1)Fibroid operation with 5days admission including drugs(it would have cost me 350k) 2)Cerclage procedure with 3days admission(it would have cost me 300k) 3)5days bed rest with drugs and injection(100k) 4)Antenatal care which include my routine drugs and cyclogest from week2 to week 28(it would have cost me 200k). In fact, I've done series of scan and test without spending any money from my personal pocket.
HMO is good oooooo Hope you’re feeling better mama? I wish I saw this message months ago. Ignorance is not good o. So I was thinking that if I used my HMO or DH’s, that I won’t be properly attended to or that the hospital might be stingy with certain necessities. So I have been paying for everything when I had 2 HMOs to pick from. It was earlier this week I went to register for antenatal in a different hospital using DH’s HMO and I was properly attended to. Please does anybody know about Bluecross hospital, Ogba, Ikeja? Has anyone birthed there? |

Graced2018: Hello Mummies esp. #TeamMarch
1. Can someone please share a first hand review of First Consultant Hospital, Obalende? I have been using it for Ante-Natal and no issues so far, but i am still undecided about birthing there. I had a cerclage installed there and treatment have been ok so far.
2. Does anyone know what it cost too? VB & CS?
3. Who has Ms. Zaynie's contact? Kindly share pls
Can March arrive any sooner or I am the only one tired of waiting?
Thank you in anticipation for your response. Hey Mama, are you on Instagram? Search for nanasbabyessentials. Mama Zaynie’s phone number is on her page. I don’t know if she will be comfortable with me sharing her contact here. |

Gracedom: Good afternoon mamas, how have we been? Surely been a while.
Pls there is this conflicting debate I hear on Nsala (White Soup) pls is it save in pregnancy? How come it’s one of the most craved food in pregnancy then. Thank you. I tried to have it some time ago, the woman I wanted to buy Peppersoup ingredients from refused to sell to me. She said it’s not good for preggers. A mama here also made mention of some spices used in making pepper soup that are not good for us. So please endure for now. I also have the craving, but I’m channeling it till after delivery. My mum already brought in her special mortar both big and small to my house. Don’t worry mama, you will soon get tired of eating it. |

Good morning mamas, It’s been a while. How is the waddling going? Initially, I would try to add swag to my walk, but as I got heavier and heavier, I just told myself that I cannot kee myself trying to force a catwalk. So these days mehn, I walk flinging my hands anyhow I like. My younger brother visited recently, and did a video of me walking, when I saw myself ehn... chai March mamas, how’s it going? Sleepless nights anyone? I have this app that helps me sleep. It’s called Hello Belly. It has the meditation section that connects you to your baby. So when sleepless nights kick, I just plug in my earpiece and listen to it. If I don’t sleep within the 10 minutes of the meditation, I sleep not long after that. It just depends on my level of concentration. You can search for it on Playstore or AppStore. Shopping, done and dusted. All thanks to Mama Zaynie. All I did was order, and I got it all within a week. No stress, no wahala, good quality stuff, free advice God bless you richly ma. Congrats as well to all mamas who just gave birth to their LOs. God bless and keep them. Your BS mehn, I ooohed and aaahed at them. God please make it easy for the rest of us. March cappo Mzleemah, my baby is XX. Please add it to your next roll call xoxo |

As for the pepper soup my mum warned me not to take it no matter how I crave it so I have zeroed my mind on that till after delivery. Take care of yourself and be safe teamie. Hmmm... Thanks a lot teamie |

Fyngal1: For the peppersoup, there's an ingredient (uda) which is not good in pregnancy. I suggest you cook your yam peppersoup without those peppersoup spices for now.
Your black out may have been caused by 1: sun- try not to walk under the sun too much. Always carry an umbrella
2: your dressing: avoid tight fitting clothes so that your body can breathe well
3: food: sometimes, you may not feel hungry but don't go too long without eating. At most, you can snack on biscuits, fruits or whatever your system can handle
4: water: the heat these days is something else. Always keep your body hydrated with fluids. Preferably cool water
5: blood level: maybe you are short of blood like they said. In which case you need to boost your blood level. Other sabi mamas will tell you more on this cos i don't really know much about boosting blood
Las las, see your doctor and complain to him
Happy bumping Wow, thank you mama. You’ve been very helpful. |
