Did the doctor request for a CT scan? It is usually indicated in case of head injury, I pray he doesn't develop any early or late complications. The Lord will continue to protect you and your family.

Children have NO BUSINESS IN THE FRONT SEAT OF A CAR.

I see it every day and I wonder how it is Nigerians are so stupid /ignorant of basic safety.

Sometimes some silly parents will put their toddler with them in the drivers seat.

And then on top of that with their children in the car, they will be driving at over 60km/hr in residential areas.

I can only hope the op will learn and stop all this God is faithful nonsense

Let me clarify you a bit I was with my kids waiting for the road to be free before crossing..when that aboki on high speed misses his way and the unfortunate incident happened rolling my son on road. The youth almost killed and set his bike ablaze if not for the early intervention.., I was also affected, We weren't in a car Sir .

It's always good to praise God and give thanks. At the same time we must do what we can to keep our children out of harm's way. From the injuries you described I believe the child was riding in the front seat without a seat belt. If this was the case ... please .... as an adult ... always wear a seat belt and more importantly.... never ever let young kids ride in the front seat.... they are too small to be restrained by the seat belt and will fly forward on impact. If the car has an airbag .... worse... on impact the airbag will blast them back and can cause injuries like the ones described.Wear seat belt ..... keep kids in the back seat. I'm out.

Okay, but the doctor confirms that the injury didn't not affect his skull and brain and my boy can talk and eat perfectly and he remembers everything he is being asked. His next appointment is in 2days time.

I also have faith in the God I serve that affliction will not raise the second time in Jesus name. Thank you I appreciate

Where do I start from, I have been in shock since the incidence, God is indeed faithful and compassionate I return all praises to Him.

After having their hair cut on the 22nd of Dec, my kids requested to visit their great grandma who leaves around that area, but on our way there the terrible accident happened. ( I don't want to go into details how it happened cause everything is still playing in my head)

My son was unconscious with blood all over his head and face, I thought he was death cause he was in the theater for more 1hour before some people rush to me to come and hear my son crying. I kept crying and declaring my son's name Emmanuel God is with you will die no way because Emmanuel is also the reason for this season's celebration (Xmas). Prayers was offered even people I don't know that witness the accident rushed there ready to donate blood in case of necessity.

I want to use this medium to once again thank especially the Doctor that God use to work and stitch his scalp and face together, he was actually going to his place of work saw the nature of the accident and decide to follow the bike men to the hospital where my son was rush to, we later got to know that he works in a different hospital but a specialist in such cases., to the people that rushed my son to that hospital God will reward them accordingly ( I don't even know them I would have gone to their various home to thank them and to all d nurses and staff of Good Shepherd Medical Center Ayingba kogi State, thank you all and I pray God will always come through for you all in Jesus name.

An accident that claim 3 of my son's teeth, the devil came to late, we give God the praise

I just heard my classmate's 10 year old daughter is on life support machine for kidney failure and your post immediately sprang to mind. You were so right!

I tend to take my good health for granted but no more. 10 years old . Is this is even medically possible? I think it is but my brain is struggling to process it. Please what would cause kidney failure in such a young child? The news just dampened my Christmas mood/spirit.

You think you have problems until you hear someone else's story, then you realize you were doing just fine all along.

I also read in a news where a child (girl) of 8years old died of kidney related issue. May the healing hand of God touch and restore the health of your classmate's child in Jesus name, Amen

2022.... Hummm

Alot happened this year. Lost one of my younger sister on the 31st of January, chai that day was a devastating day for my family. I was at work when my Dad called me that Iye is gone, what?? I cried to the extent that my heart was running faster as if it will stop that moment. And to even think that she died in the presence of my parents, she wasn't sick we lost her just like that.

Then I started having health challenge. I visited the hospital, did different types of scan/test. Whenever I have an appointment with the Consultant handling my case, I go with a new test result from a private Lab. Thou some of my tests I don't get to pay for them as it's covered by NHIS and the drug's I pay 10% of it.

Buying drug's, running test and transport consumed my money this year. I thank God that have improved health wisely and also looking good physically now. 2022 had my tears the most.

But in all I want to appreciate God for keeping me and the remaining members of my family alive till this moment. Thou it hasn't been easy but in all I give God thanks.

2023 please be good to me and my loved one's.

I am grateful to God for the gift of these wonderful people He brought my way this year;

1. Cococandy - She came through for me during a demoralizing time at work when I lost a superior's £4,000 put in my care for an FX bank transaction. The loss wasn't as a result of my negligence, someone actually broke the lock on my office drawer to steal the money, I replaced that 4k pounds from my savings (it's good practice to have savings ooo, it is called savings for a good reason) but doing so wiped me out completely.

Then I needed funds to get by till my next pay day but none of my close relatives or friends could spare cash at the time. I reached out to Coco, told her my dilemma and she came through without delay. I will always be grateful that an internet stranger helped me when family/friends couldn't.

2. Major T - T is a childhood neighbour I lost touch with for ages after our families moved away from the town/estate we all used to live in. I ran into him when I first came to Lagos years ago to join my sisters and start my job search, but we lost touch again until this year. He invited me out to lunch recently but had an emergency last minute and couldn't do lunch, so he sent his driver to my office to give me cash for lunch.

Lunch money turned out to be $1,500. I immediately called him to ask why are you giving me so much money for lunch? He said it wasn't just for lunch, it was a gift to appreciate me for helping him at one of his lowest points in life. He said when we first ran into each other in Lagos years ago, he was broke and jobless the day we saw, but I invited him to my sister's crib, cooked a meal for him and gave him cash afterwards for transport, which he used not only for transport but bathing soap and other things.

He had never forgotten that day! I could vaguely recall the events of that day but he vividly remembered and recounted the exact location we met and my sister's exact home address back then. I was shocked and overwhelmed by emotions, but mostly touched by his generosity.

3. Mr. B my ex-boss - A former boss from two years ago whom I thought didn't like me, credited my bank account at the start of December with a sum of money that left me in shock and awe. I no longer had his phone number sef, I had to call former colleagues to get his number. I called him and surprisingly he still had my number, the first thing he said upon answering was - Klass, Christmas came early, right?

I laughed and said oga did you mistakenly credit my account? He said no, he knew what he was doing, it was a xmas gift with no strings attached he felt led in his spirit to gift it to me. I was taken aback but I profusely thanked him, we even had a good conversation before the call ended. I've been invited to his end of year party, along with another former colleague. This could be the start of a friendship or better relations with him.

Losing that £4,000 in this economy devastated me, I lost about 20kg in one week . But good people happened to me afterwards.

Your Testimony has renew my hope and faith in God.. This year was such a terrible year for me and my family alot has happened, but in all, I still give God all the praises and adoration for counting us worthy to be alive to witness this days He is worthy of my praise.
