God has made my family smile again.

After 7hrs of active augumented labour, my bundle of joy, my "bababatunde", the one that came to console my family on the death of my father; baby Dominique Iwinosa,Owie has finally landed at abt 5:05pm 30/6/2016.

Thank you mamas for ur word of prayers. May God raise people to meet you at the point of your needs. Amen!

He's been crying all day, even after food... Both breast and formula...
And he eats every two hours... 60mls of formula plus breastmilk...
I've carried him, fanned him, rocked him... He just won't stop crying...

pls mama don't get frustrated the stress will soon be over.

Nothing is wrong with him he is jst adapting to the new enviroment, he will be 5n. Pls make sure u burp him after every feed so that air should not be trapped in his stomach as this can make him feel unconfortable

sorry about the pain, make sure u position him properly when breastfeeding and u sit comfortably don't bend our back or neck u can also support with a pillow to make sure his mouth covers our nipple to reduce the pain

Try taking pap, hot tea, kunu and drinking enough water. And also try feeding frequently even if breast milk is not coming out just put it in our baby's'mouth to stimulate the breast also ensure you get enough rest.

Thanks Mumjb. When i went for a scan last week, i was asking if he can check if baby is engaged and he was looking at me like i just spoke spanish. I had to even explain the meaning of baby being engaged to the dummy.

mayb the person who attended to you was learning thats why he does not know what you mean by baby being engaged. Bcus scan is suppose to tell u if baby is engaged or not

I stopped having heartburn for more than a week now. It just disappeared.
Then my stomach doesnt look high again as if it wants to suffocate my boobz. It looks a bit lower.
I feel sharp pain in my vjay everyday. It'll just come at once and then disappear.
My vjay always feels like i just kpekused. I feel pressure inside it.
Then irregular braxton hicks.

Do all these mean baby has engaged?

wen ur stomach looks a bit lower or u feel pressure inside ur vjay is a sign dat baby has engaged or u can go for a scan to be sure dat baby has engaged

What about unripe pawpaw? It has been mentioned here several times top[/quote pawpaw that is a bit unripe induce labour this is because it contains a latex substance dat is believed to trigger uterine contraction.

beverages like milo does not always make ür baby big, big baby does not dépend on what û eat alone but also on genetics. I Will say eat anything û like. and want in moderation. Concerning d tear not all big baby gîve tear it dépend on ür pelvic and d knowledge of d midwife. When i had my first baby he was 3.5kg and i had tear in two Places, but some mum Will deliver a 4kg baby without tear.
