sabi mamas pls come to my aid my newborn has been opening her mouth all the time, i noticed it on d following day i gave birth to her and i showed it to the nurses dey said its notin to worry about. but me am worry i dont want her to get use to it and continue til she is mature.

pls has anyone experienced it before, is she going to close the mouth later. pls dont jump and pass.

she does not have catarrh.

Sorry dear i had the same issue and the pain would get so bad i would almost drop the baby. What helped me was hot water massage i would soak a towel in hot water and press my lower abdomen . The water should be hot but should still be okay for you to put your hands. Try to do it morning and night. Please note i had a vd so it was okay to do that.

it's your uterus contracting especially when you are breastfeeding your baby. It will stop after some days. It's normal for women who have giving birth more than once

It's normal in subsequent deliveries after your first. It's called afterpain and it's worse when baby suckles.its your uterus contracting back to size. Take your pain relief drug, I guess they prescribed one for you after delivery. If not ibuprofen will do. Dooooh! It will finally stop b4 1wk post partum. Tkia

i need your help,am 2days late to my EDD yet no contraction,no signs am so worried,pls is dere anytin i can take to make labour start,my mum said somtin abot takin gesto oil(nt sure of the spellings) pls i need help pls.av done all d exercise,walked long distance, ate pinapple,climb the stairs a million times to bring on labour but nothing seems to be happening,pls i need a solution,i want a natural birth biko help!

for my first pregnancy on the day of my edd i took two spoon of castor oil around one o'clock in the afternoon and my water broke five o'clock in the evening thats how my labour started. but the thing purge me to the extend if nurse say push poo will come outside so i decided i wont use it again.


but this pregnancy have also past my edd and doctor has even booked me for induction but am planning of taking one spoon of castor oil b4 the induction date.

so the thing is that body differs and react differently. it may work for u, so if u like u can use it but remember not to take too much dose.

don't take it if you're not in third trimester and should be mixed with honey.
That was the culprit that caused my 3months miscarriage or let me just blame my oversabi, no, Google instead. Despite my mil warning me against it, I defended that Google said lime juice can ease morning sickness.
When morning sickness stopped, I thought I achieved my sim not knowing the fetus heartbeat stopped therefore no baby. When I took in again, I was always looking forward to morning sickness as assurance but if I didn't feel anything, I'd be worried.

Mamas on lime intake mission, please moderation should be your watch word! Lime is very acidic so high consumption of it can erode intestinal walls. Please always take after meal. Ulcer in pregnancy is not a funny experience. Plus being that LO ingest what their mother's eat too ,for their sake, you watch consumption

I read this recently too, I actually googled it because I've been taking lime a lot lately, and I wanted to make sure it was safe. The taste helps me fight back the nausea.

i have been craving for it for a long time, but my mum stopped me frm taking it. she said its not safe in pregnancy, but i jst came across dat info today dat means i can take lime juice.

I greet you All my Sisters and mothers. ...it's been a wonderful journey so far. It may not have been completely perfect but there have been abundant reasons to be thankful to God who has done exceedingly well to bring us this far.....of course he didn't bring us this far to abandon us but rather to see us to the end of this journey successfully. ..so we will depend on him to the VERY END!
He has done it already for some of us ...mompurity2, udoomama and ijeomaobi1 ...we celebrate with them!

We should all be in week 37, 38, 39 and some approaching week 40 already....that means any of us can have our babies at any time from now,(babies are considered term from 37weeks) so we should all be ready. ..mum and baby essentials at least for the first 1month bought already. Baby should have been head down by now to increase our chances at trying a VD. ..

We will do our best to cooperate with our Doctor's and midwives as much as possible while we continuously pray for the best team to be with us on that day! When not sure of a suggestion by a Doctor or midwife , don't hesitate to come here to weigh the suggestions so as to be better guided.
Our goal has been mother alive, baby alive and father rejoicing. ...so whatever measures need to be taken to make that possible should be fully supported(CS included) ...
Please start your walks if you haven't already done so. Increase your kpekusing too if DH is readily available too. You can also do squats to help exercise the pelvic floor muscles tho it's not so easy cos of bump heaviness and pains in the legs.
That being said. ...wishing you ALL the best and nothing but the best.

I am 38wks +4days today. . .am excited and anxious. ..it's not been easy. ..started Maternity leave on Monday as I was over tired of preparing for work every morning. House chores have become a great deal of work too ...just managing to keep up. My baby's bag has been packed. ..but mine has not yet but I will do so once I return from ANC today...I do my walks at least 45mins too in the evening ...
I am ready for labour! !! Yes I am.....I want to hold my own baby and nurture with love .

I have started my walks but i dont usually do it everyday

i feel pain and heaviness in my jajaina, i cant even walk well. To turn in bed or even stand up is a problem.

i went for scan and lo was weighing 2.6kg at 36 weeks 5 days hope its not too big. august should come quickly i cant wait to hold my lo.

It's July Mamas.... Are you as excited as I am ? With each passing week, our dreams are getting closer to realisation. It's week 35,34,33 and 32 for us respectively. To help me serve you better, please kindly update your EDD and gender too...Have You finished shopping and packing yet ? If you are interested in porting to July ,please show by a lift of hand . Lemme use my good office and bargain with July captain on your behalf.. (yeah, am that nice) .

Am 34weeks plus 4days today. EDD is 11th. But am seriously eyeing 1st -3rd August ooo. Team Blue, baby Ekene, still dragging his English name with hubby till now ooo. I haven't washed baby's cloth yet ooo despite the fact that i bought them last month oo. . Feeling so lazy about it...don't even know why. Thoughts of how i will iron all of them scares me too. I hate ironing . I haven't finished shopping too. DH still waiting for June salary alert.(life of a civil servant) Hoping it comes this week ooo so we finish that chapter by next week latest.

My bump wants to roll on the floor now. I dey look am. Started having cramps yersterday and am happy about it. Hoping baby has turned too cos last scan showed breech. Am still happy for the little strength the pregnancy is giving me to do little chores at home. Tho I feel serious leg pains and waist pains after market and soup making. My face is so big and ugly now erh....chai. .fine chick that I used to be...but now I have grown old . Missed antenatal today cos of public hols. Can't wait for next week tho....Am happy. ...and I thank Jah for bringing me this far...trusting in him to take me successfully to the end of this journey. ..
