I declined because I am sure to get another ITA. Also, I wasn't sure of when I was going to complete my POF; even now, I am not 100% sure. From my knowledge, it is better you decline ITA than let the ITA expire; if your ITA expires, your profile will be scrapped, and you can run into trouble when you later apply.
I know myself; I may become nonchalant and forget the exact day my ITA would expire. I didn't want to take that chance, and so I declined quickly.
What I have resolved to do is this: for any ITA I get, I'll wait for 2-3 weeks, and if there is no hope of completing my POF soonest, I will decline. If my CRS was 450 or below I wouldn't decline so fast, but with CRS 465, I strongly believe I would always get the next ITA(so far I decline 24-48 hours before the next draw; that is the time, I think, it takes to get back into the pool whenever you decline an ITA.
Lastly, after I apply, if the visa officer requests for an explanation for my previous ITA declinations(which I doubt they would ask), I will gladly explain why I declined as thus: 'I was not sure of when I would complete my POF'.
So you'll continue declining ITA until POF is complete? You shouldn't have been in the pool from the get go.

What you should have done is, since your CRS is high enough to fetch ITA at anytime, wait till your POF is complete.

This might just be one of many reasons why the CRS cut off is high.

Ayboye...curious about this too because of how stringent the LMIA seems to be. Please advise us
...maybe this is the way for low CRS scorers....that's 200 points extra right?
Yes o. A whole 200! Ayboye biko. We await ye.

Edited: also you don't need to show proof of funds id you have a job offer. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/documents/proof-funds.html

Yea I got 11 points which is actually not sufficient but fortunately I have other options through job offer, thanks.
How did you get/process the job offer?

Did French play any role in this?

Hello abk2019, this journey has steps you need to follow before starting. You need to research and read thoroughly. Luckily, the research has been done for you.

Go to page 1 of this thread and digest the information there. All these questions you're asking have already been answered. When you're through, come back and ask specific questions.

The way you're going about it, you're certain to make mistakes.

Cheers.

Sup guys,
I'm back again and IELTS has done it again.
I just checked my result online and here we go again:

FEB 14TH 2019: LRWS- 8.5, 8.0, 6.5, 8.0 (BC)

This would be the 5th test.
other results are:

1st APRIL 2017: LRWS- 8.5, 6.5, 6.0, 7.5 (BC)
2nd OCT 2017: LRWS- 7.0, 8.0, 8.0, 7.5 (BC). EOR came back like an occupied body bag.
3rd SEPT 8TH 2018: LRWS- 8.5, 7.0, 6.0, 8.5 (MOD). EOR upgraded Writing to 6.5
4th SEPT 29TH 2018: LRWS- 8.0, 7.0, 6.5, 8.5 (MOD). EOR came back with ZERO INERTIA.

I would raise another Bank Draft for EOR as i've got no other option.
i would be requesting for a remark of W&S at the point of collecting my TRF on Friday as they only open for collection on MONDAYS, TUESDAYS & FRIDAYS .
Right now i feel no heart beating, I just need to keep kicking.
So sorry. I know how you feel. I pray your remark is successful

OMG, I'm really sorry everyone. I was also supposed to share some tools I used but I've been extremely busy hence the silence.

I do read the thread once in a while, I just don't respond.

My TEF result:
Reading B2
Listening B2
Writing C1
Speaking B2

The tricky thing about TEF is no matter how good the result of the different competences look, a low score in one part can spoil the whole fun.
My B2 in Reading and Listening are CLB 6, meaning I am not able to get the extra points.
Hi @ayboye this is a really good result even though it didn't give sufficient points. Am i right to say you got 11 points for this? Is this sufficient for your ITA?

All the best. Bonne chance!

I've picked it up. No change but hubby's speaking changed from 7 to 7.5.

Still not enough aa CRS is at 431. We move ahead.

My consolation is this "the vision is for an appointed time though it tarry, it will surely come".

Happy Sunday everyone, I recently applied for a remark with British Council and someone advised on this platform that one should send a mail to info@cambridgeassessment.org.uk and copy BC Nigeria. I sent the follow-up mail but I received a reply from the former that they have nothing to do with remark. Please is there another way I can follow up on the remark?

Thanks Fam
Hi @pyruvateluv, i really don't think you should stress over it. I sent mails and even called. Those guys will keep referring you back to BC Nigeria. When i called, the call centre agent was not even aware of anything called EOR. They're not like MOD that respond positively to EOR enquiry.

Just pray and keep your fingers crossed.

Congrats to all ITA clinchers. A friend of mine got ppr yesterday, he's not on the thread. Please I have a question : is it possible to combine three different NOC, one year for each noc? Secondly trying to create a profile with ielts scores LRSW 6.5, 5.5, 7, 6. Degree: two or more certificates. Age: 25 Spouse ECA: Masters degree with 4 years work experience. What could possibly be the reason for my ineligiblilty status in trying to create Express Entry profile with these details?.
You need a minimum of 6 in all aspects of IELTS

Thank you oh@ottawasenators. I went to inquire in the bank and the lady was telling me it has to be sent to the head office for approval bla bla bla
I knew that couldn't be the case
Will reapproach.thanks again
Hello @firsttimeuser, if you want the generic letter, it won't take more than 20 mins but if you need the letter in CIC format, it would take between 24 to 48 hours and this depends largely on your account officer because it has to go through approval.

Thanks. Yeah, trying to avoid the stubborn ones like GTB.

From the thread, I understand that the closest gtb gives is a Signature Confirmation Letter.

Part of the fund is primarily in gtb which has been our savings account over time. Some in Access. So thinking of moving gtb fund to access and gift deed sent to Access.

Would still get statement from gtb to explain the lump deposit to Access.

Just wanted to be sure Access is compliant and a good idea before moving the funds there. Don't want to move it there before realizing it's a wrong move and having to move to another bank again hence the question.
GTB gives. Depends on the branch/your account officer. It would take between 24 - 48 hours. You should speak with your account officer
