1st IELTS LRWS 8.5 7.5 7 7 CRS 436 2nd IELTS LRWS 7.5 9 7 7.5 CRS 382 ( just checked).
Sleep has disappeared. What a disappointment! I'm numb. I don't even know what to feel. A lot depended on this.
No point remarking. CRS would be 387. In a month, I lose 5 marks for new age. At this stage, I pray for a miracle that the cut off would come down before my birthday. If it doesn't, might have to consider PNP.
It will end in praise. |

etrange: They have to be sent via a courier. They must be sealed and stamped by the school authority. Any sign that the envelop has been opened before getting to ICES might render the documents invalid. Nice one strange. Good to know you're reading. Oya ndikings. Take a cue from etrange. You can also go to ICES website for any info you need. |

Expresso17: Hello House,
Okay i am just getting ready to write IELTS, waiting on WES to complete verification too as they have received my transcript, but I like to plan ahead to avoid delays. Has anyone done PCC in the UK but now lives in Nigeria, can i start the process now and does it expire? (I lived there within the last 10 years but now live in Nigeria), I read this on their site "The Standard and Premium service fees include 1st class postage to a UK address or standard airmail to an overseas address"--- It takes 10 days if i pay standard fees, Did the 10 days include postage to Nigeria? If not, how long did it take?
The other option will be to send to a friend in the UK who will send to Nigeria for me when someone is coming, what do you advise? https://www.nairaland.com/4472519/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/605#69947654 |

Seems the number of candidates above 440 has dropped considerably. Hopefully, 430s have a chance at the next draws. Fingers crossed.

leonaidas: Hello everyone, I have a peculiar situation. I have a certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology, its a 3 year program run by Colleges Of Health Technologies in Nigeria. After the 3 years in a College Of Health Technology, you sit for a licensing exam organised by the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria(MLSCN). If you pass, you're inducted and given a practicing liscense which you renew annually. My question is this:
1. Do I send the transcript and certificate issued by the College Of Health Technology or the transcript and certificate issued by the MLSCN (NB: IQAS says you must submit a record of all the years of study, but the MLSCN transcript only has the record of the licencing exam.) *I have called iqas and explained my situation and they referred me to their website, but the only information available is for Nurses. I also called the MLSCN but they don't seem to have any idea. Mcstan18 sunvick glisteringstar newmum0615 Elfman is back to judge cocthrane 40manlappy blackbuddy ethelia ifeoma77 In my opinion, send all. You might be lucky to get 2 or more certificates. Or anyone here with this experience? Kindly help |

raheemkeji: Hello Everyone!!!
I am Married and our CRS score is 420.
I studied Accounting & working as Accountant with more than 3 years. I am 25 years old.
Please advise me regarding PNP if any route is available for my situation.
Thanks!!!!! I don't think you should consider PNP just yet. You have age on tour side. You can drop your parameters here so we can assist with simulation- age, educational qualification, ielts scores, do you have up to 3 years experience? Same for your husband or you can do it yourself here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp |

234ng44uk: Interesting. But what's the point in insisting on stamped and sealed envelope when they would still send it back to the issuing authority for verification anyway? Na was. To ensure it came directly from the school. That's one of their requirements. I suggest you request for another one. Let them send it sealed and stamped or else it won't be accepted. Time is very precious. |

Bloggerina18: Congratulations @Newmum0615, I've been waiting to read your testimony bros I see the way you selflessly assist others here. May Canada favour you in everyway.
Meanwhile, I came here today coz I feel so discouraged. My CRS is sitting @ 425. My birthday is this month, minus 5 from my score again. Ielts was quite good so no need to redo. I won't finish my MBA till Sept next year and am just so frustrated. CRS has refused to drop, Ontario never call me, if not I would have paid the fee gladly. Cant find any other PNP. My NoC is 6314 so its not in demand anywhere. Hubby's NOC is IT and those New Bruswick people went to go and add French language to their requirement. Abeg sure I wan see French again. Abi what else can one do?
Everything about naija don tire me. My office to is just somehow now. All the people I have taught about this EE process don leave me Go or at least have ITA. They've even advised me to come and do refugee in canada and I won't lie, I was beginning to consider it. Am really losing hope...Am just so tired. Hello dear. Please don't loose Faith. This journey teaches plenty of patience. Don't give up. I know it can be very tiring and frustrating especially when your job is not satisfying. Concentrate on finishing your masters. Your husband should also consider enrolling for French classes. I think all you need is 4 months at allyon francaise. Weeping may last the night but joy comes in the morning. It will definitely end in praise. |

All these casual PPR announcements nowadays, though! It's PPR people! It's worth shouting, screaming, announcing in a grand way. Abi na only me dey think like that?
Anyway, ielts yesterday was ok. Fingers crossed for the results.
For those still preparing, these were my writing questions.
Task 1 - the old historical building in your area is to be pulled down by the local council due to unavailability of funds for the repair work. Write a letter to the local council stating why you think it should not be pulled down, how to raise funds and what the building can be used for.
Task 2 - some people say modern technology has improved social behaviour. Others think it has made us less sociable. Discuss and give your opinion. |
