So doc just inserted foley catheter to ripen my cervix and checked lo's heartbeat. Still chilling with my jumbo size sharwama for my transition phase of labour to begin. See you later with more gist.

Heyyyy thank God it's not only me. The heart burn no be here. Beans, yam, indomie infact almost everything I eat. I now eat as early as 4pm, only then will i sleep comfortably if not sleep no be for me.

I was told to eat small portion at a time coz of the heart burn, am sure whn we carry our babies everything will b history.

About palpitations wen taking ventolin tabs got that too...

Pls o wanna ask......m taking lots of drugs n I m feeling like its too much

Nifedipine 20mg daily.....bp n contractions
Aspirin 75mg daily.......bp
Diclofenac 50mgdaily..... fibroid pains
Paludrin daily.......malaria
Diazepam (valium)5mg daily......??
Pregnacare or ferotone daily

Treated malaria now 4 times, used zinnat once, septrin once, ventolin for some time buh stopped cos it does same work as nifedipine for contractions

Bp is jst very slightly high. Am I worrying too much? 33weeks now.

Not enjoying this preg at all, buh m grateful to God oooo. He has bin faithful. God bless us n all that concern us. Hugs n kisses

Treated malaria 4 times now, did u go for malaria test b4 treatment?
Run malaria test while was admitted in d hospital, came out ++ was given quinine tablet, 2 tablets 3times daily for 5 days, my gyn said it's 1 of d best to treat malaria for pregnant women, called another doc Dats confirm wat she said . Sabi mamas in d house will knw more.

He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection( Psalm 91:1-4NLT).
O Lord, let our babies be sheltered in the wings and feathers of the Lord. Protect each mother from every form of disease and evil spirit. See us through the pregnancy journey and grant us safe delivery like the Hebrew women.
You are the One who can make us fruitful in every spheres of our lives. Put an end to every forms of fruitless effort in our lives. Those in atc thread, answer them speedily with fruits of the womb that people may rejoice with them with their babies.

My birth story.

I started feeling contractions on the 12th of feb around 8pm tho they were not too strong but we decided to go get checked at the hosp so we don't start rushing to the hosp in the midnight.
The nurses checked and told me I have not dillated at all.
They told me to sleep over in the hosp, since it was a 3rd birth that labour can progress swiftly.and my labours are usually short.
I declined and went home.
I woke up around 4.30am on the 13th with stronger contractions.I went to the hosp and was checked again, only to be told my cervix is still up and not opened yet. I was like,wtf, I know wat am feeling.I just told the nurses to get me the doctor, dillation or not.they called d doctor but he refused to come since he has been told I haven't dilated. The contractions were now 3 mins apart and painful.
My husband had to shout the hosp down before doctor came to check me.and again, the doctor said I have not dilated and went back to his office in anger.he even told me to go home and come back next day.this was abt 9am o.
Before I knew it, labour got stronger and I started screaming for the nurses.they refused to come.my husband wnet to the doctors office to bang his door to come and attend to me.that baby is abt to come.he knows the kind of noise I make when baby is almost here.he grudgingly came again and started askin me if I want cs.in the throes of pain? Without being checked if my labour has progressed in anyway?
I didn't even aswer him.I just started pushing.when ie saw me pushing, that was when he now saw baby was crowning.he told me to get up, let's go to delivery room.I told him am not moving an inch.I just kept pushing till I pushed my baby girl out.that was when the doctor and nurses started running up and down to attend to me.because the labour was not guided I had tears.
I had my two previous kids with them and it was pleasant but this particular experience was not. My husband really shouted at the MD and threatened to sue them.they just kept apologising.
I just give God all the glory cos devil tried and failed.
My baby came @ 10am, 3.5kg

Had rough time around late Jan, it all started with frequent visit to d toilet, abt 10- 15 times a day for 3 days, had to call my gyn, she said I shld see her immediately, since I was nt dehydrated, she said der is no serious issue, I shld continue oral drip at home, which I did, and it stopped. Was just recovering frm that whn blood came out of my V on d 5th of Feb around 7pm, had to call her again, n went to see her, she ordered for a scan after listening to babies hrtbeat. Scan result said everything is ok except that my cervix is 2.5cm instead of 3cm and it has little opening, was admitted immediately, she cheked for linkage, but no linkage by God's grace, was placed on bed rest, just discharge me and all d docs nad nurses advised it's complete bed rest for me oooo, dat dey want to carry this babies. Sorry for d long story jst want to u knw wat am going tru n ur advice.thnks gestational age is 29 weeks +

@ olubankemi my Dr's advice at d end of every visit is pls eat for two and drink water for 3. I eat twice a day, and my last meal must nt be late coz of d pep perish feeling I have frm my throat to nose at nite.
I have nt notice seize in breath, my breath is faster whn I take a walk Dats all.

My uncle gave birth to twins, my husbands family no trace of twin, both after losing my first pregnancy last year June, every one close
to my family wished and join us in prayer for twin, by August did scan and was told am carrying twin, dat was how mine happened.

May God grant your wish for the mix. They are 8 weeks old now, 7 weeks at the time the picture was taken. I had to deal with discharge for the greater part of the pregnancy. It was also itchy down there but after tests, nothing was detected so there was no cause for alarm. I used panty liners for the discharge so that I wouldn't feel uncomfortable and have to wipe every now and then.

I did not have a cervical cerclage done. Infact I had never come across those 2 words until one Mama on this thread asked me if I had it done since I was carrying multiples. I think if you would need it your Dr would let you know. Maybe you should ask about it at your next appointment. Nurse Kaffy4bill, tchiwinnie, soonest, etc pls help throw more light on the cerclage issue.

Hmm the kicks weren't funny at all. Double fa and they were both very active in there. The kicks were even more manageable than the turning. They kept turning and it was so painful. I remember when scan revealed that they were both head down at 35weeks after a previous one showed that the leading twin was breech(apparently she later turned). I was so confident that there was no space for them to turn again after 35 weeks. With the excitement that both being head down meant I had a good chance of vag delivery, I rushed home to pop wine in celebration with my hubby and kids . To my dismay the turning continued few days later and by 37 weeks they were both breech. Had to be booked for CS against 37 weeks+5days.

It all turned out well in the end. Thank God for life and good health. Just hang in there. Fret not. You'll be fine.

Thanks so much 4 educating us, d kicks can be managed, but d turning is smtin else, we pray it all end in joy for all of us. Love d mix u have, I wish for d mix

Mine was seen 12weeks, my 1st scan.

This are not ordinary tears but tears of joy. I never knew God loved me this much and answers my hrt desires. I just found out now that am carrying TWINS . OMG! What did I do to deserve this gifts . After 2 shameful years of TTC God decided to honor me with double. Indeed God is not a robber. I can't stop shedding tears of joy. My mouth can never be shut frm testifying of his goodness.

My Doc said dey cnt b identical coz dey are sharing diff placenta. Scan said one is a girl, d oda 1 refuse to show us sex, I hope d 2nd wil b a boy. Talking abt almost der, hmmm I tink d real work just started, no suitable position. to to slp, backache, and a whole lot of package, but in all I give God thanks, for d fact that I will mama twin soon keeps me going.
