@ Udoomama, you can do EBF if you have the strength, my twins will b 3months on the 29th of this month and it's has b EBF, just get a good B pump, u will have to extract for them, so they can get enough. But u will have to eat very well.


Talking abt bp issue and salt intake, had bp issue and I was told by some nurses not to take salt, so I stopped talking salt, only for me to tell me gyn that I dnt take salt coz of the bp, she said I shld take salt, but it should be moderate, and I should nt take row salt, d salt must be cooked.
What she explained was I dnt nt have bp issue b4 pregnancy, its pregnancy induced bp so it has nothing to do with my salt intake.
I Wass taking aspirin for the bp.

If it was given to you by ur Dr, then it's okay, that was what I took whn I was 28weeks to treat malaria.

@ olubankemi, extracted BM is okay for me, was asked to extract in the hospital, that's how i've b coping, I warm whenever I want to feed them.

@ olubankemi, my boy is bigger, both of them dey suck like fire, but if they dnt suck for 2hours my B pad and blouse will b soaked so I extract. I eating much after the first 2weeks, I eat 3 times now, with a bowl of tea.
If I had enough help would have continue d EBF till 4 months, but my dear attending to them and this EBF is my major challenge.
It's stressful no doubt, but the joy that I have is more than the stress, I jut keep smiling whn ever I look at them.

@mumtwins if you were given a cut, it ought to be stitched. However you can try the act, with your hubby. If you notice anything major difference you go back to the hospital. March is quite a long time.

Talking abt Kpekusing, I think I need advice frm sabi mama's, had my twins since march but till date no Kpekusing, am scared that my VG is no longer as it use to be coz I had a tear that's nt stitched. Pls sabi mama's I need ur advice on wat to do.

My dear mothers let's be vigilant whenever we take our los to the hospital, just as she said ask questions n pray for ur baby and any1 attending to them. whn my daughter was admitted and the boy at home, I was always in the hospital, everybody got tired, it got to the point that whn the docs and nurses see me they my just give my update abt her and tell me to go home and take care of the boy.
Its well with us.
T and K will be 3months on th 29th of this month, so far it has b exclusive breastfeeding, want to start formula, I need advice frm my experience mama's, tnk u, sorry for the long story.

My birth story my cuties came out 29 march, 8:10am water came out of my body, called DH, he was out of town, he had to call a frnd to come and pick me, got to the hospital arnd pass 10am, I was asked if am in labour I said I dnt knw ooo d only thing I knw is that water came out of my body, and my consultant said when ever I see water I shld cm that's why I came, was checked and told am already 5cm gone. The dr said madam u are in labour ooo, dey gave me a bed in d labour ward immediately. Arnd 1:30pm I was checked again and was told am btw 6 -7cm that am nt progressing d way they want it so they want to augment labour, was given drip and d drug was added, d pain start ooo, bt I did not shout, so everyone in d labour rm didnt believe me when I tell them am in pain. The nurses on duties nice ooo, one of them was on stndby to rub my back at every contraction, she kept saying sorry, u are almost der. Around 4:30pm told them I want to pooo, dr said madam it's nt time oooo, I was checked again na 8cm, d nurse now asked me madam u are still smiling and speaking with ur husband, dr said, madam won't u shout, at dat point I told d dr dat I can no longer hold is poo, dr now checked again and said madam push now, I push d first tym, my BBB came out 5:20pm with d second push and BBG came out around 5:34pm. Was discharged d next day, my BBG is in d hospital, said is its jaundice, dey had to remove some of her blood and put blood for her, dat was don 2 days ago, she is still in d hospital.Sorry 4 d long story.
