Dnt take nairaland too serious it is only on Nairaland I see anioma people deny their igboness I have never seen them do so in real life..i have met more than 20 delta Igbos in Lagos I have never seen any deny being Igbo.i can't really of ukwanni and ika because i have never met but those once from delta North have I have never seen..
Well that's for you but I have seen many deny being igbo. There are so many here in IMO State. I have long stopped disturbing myself with the igbo minorities in Niger delta especially when I see their elites denying their igbo origin. This their stupidity has now become a means to blackmail igbos and keep them in Nigeria but I assure you that when the time comes to leave this God forsaken country Ehh ,igbos will not even look back. We can't sacrifice our future for them.

Stop talking trash.

Are you Igbo more than we Igbos in delta?
Ohhhhhhhhhhhh. Wow! Now you are igbos Abi? I thought you were from Benin? So when a biafra without you guys is mentioned, you will automatically become igbo, but when a biafra without you is discussed, you will become Benin descendants and accuse igbos of wanting to steal your lands, oil and even the rivers. Igbo land will automatically be landlocked and false stories of how ojukwu "maltreated " you will start flying everywhere. I think you should remain in Nigeria. There is nothing bad about it. You will continue feeding the country with your oil proudly.

honeyB2018:
You, Junaid Mohammad and the op above you are completely wrong.
What I see, is that other Nigerians are still fighting against the Igbos, as the did during the civil war , though it has ended physically.
How do you say the Igbos never supported other Nigerians? This is one of the biggest lies ever told against the Igbo.
In 1979, Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe, leading NPP, supported Shehu Shagari of NPN, to form his government, which SW never did
1999, Igbos supported and voted for Obj for 8yrs, Southwest never did, though Obj is from their region
In 2003, Igbos, left their respected Ojukwu, to vote and support a Yoruba man (Obj)
2007, Igbos voted and supported Yara'Adua an Hausa/Fulani man, to be president
2011-15, Igbos supported and vote G. E.J, an Ijaw man, from a southern minority, to be president.
So what is the offence of the Igbos, why the lie, that they are not building bridges? Even in states, where they reside, have their votes not helped in installing the government in power now?
Why the lies?
Don't mind them . Let them continue with the lies. It will not lead them anywhere.

Waiting on our Igbo elites is almost illusive, it will not yield anything because they are not done chopping crumbs from Abuja, Mark my words they will never pull out of Nigeria forget all these threats is it rochas or uzordimma that will pull out for you..lol ...all we have to do is believe in MNK and pray for him only God can help us here our elites don't care about the common man..
Nnamdi Kanu can't do it alone. He has tried. He needs support.

We have to wonder sometimes why people that were loved and respected in the only place they were accommodated outside their home, generate so much resentment all of a sudden.

The world has changed. Everybody holds on tight to the only home they know. No matter where in the whole wide world, if you threaten their existence in their home, they will fight back.

Stay in your lanes, everyone will be happy.

Oga I am trying to make nndigbo see reason why they should stop the restructuring and presidency chants and go for a republic. If you don't like it, you can kindly leave the thread, or hit your head on a transformer pole.

I didn't need to finish this trash before I understand that this guy knows absolutely nothing about Biafra ideology. He's obviously a Fulani media contractor on a mission of misinformation or confusion amongst the people because the interpretation of his article is that Biafra is exclusively an Igbo affairs which is not only misleading but a very wrong signal. But as always a nomadic sense will always function as cow brain, very poor and a mission failed article grin grin
You people are even worse. And so what if it is an all igbo affairs? Are you expecting us to drag any Niger delta community with us?

No matter how bad biafra will be it is the best for the Igbo man at least we will be able to defend ourself from external invasion like the one fulani militia are waging on the entire nation..
That's what they don't understand. We would have full control of our resources, and there will be no need to bother ourselves with ruga and Fulani herdsmen because we can make laws banning them from the country.

Nnamdi Kanu and ipob is not my point. If all our leaders join hands and push for a referendum, I don't think that there will be any need for ipob, massob, and the rest.

You got the measure of these fools! Of course his intentions are clear......he wants, when Biafra comes, that it will be for Ndigbo in 'just your 5 south-east states', so they can continue gorging on the Niger-Delta oyel and gas to use in developing their regions to the detriment of those who own the resources.....like they've been doing since 1970!

As much as these bigoted, two-faced vermin despise Igbos, they wouldn't mind continuing to call a Igbo like me (from ONELGA in Rivers State) a 'fellow Nigerian' so long as they can continue to have access to the hydrocarbons on my land and 'one Nigeria' is sustained!
Are you reading what you are writing? How can biafra continue using Niger delta oil and gas when we are not in Nigeria again? Are you okay?
Politics › Re: Ndigbo : Biafra Is the only solution by Muna4real(op): 7:15am On Aug 07, 2020
PROUDIGBO:
No Igbo with his head screwed on right would want his children to inherit the mess we're in today in which we share the same country with a hateful people who heap the blame for the misdeeds of a handful of officers (some of whom were Igbo) in 1966 on the entire Igbo race even up to 2020! Misdeeds for which one would have thought they have exacted their pound of flesh by the gruesome murder of Ironsi; the cold-blooded slaughter of tens of thousands of Igbo men, women and children in the north in 1966; the subsequent genocidal uncivil war; the removal of large hydrocarbon rich parts of Alaigbo and placing in Rivers state; and the political and economic strangulation and marginalisation of Ndigbo that saw our states and cities starved of federal presence, and us not producing a head of state since the time of Ironsi!

Any daft Igbo thinking people capable of this kind of evil will one day turn a new leaf.....learn to stop being vindictive, and see Ndigbo as equals instead of 'conquered slaves'....any Igbo thinking such doesn't mean well for their future generations!

BIAFRA (by whatever configuration it may take) IS A MILLION TIMES BETTER THAN CONTINUING TO REMAIN IN 'ONE NIGERIA' WITH PEOPLE WHO HATE YOUR GUTS!

This useless Igbo presidency (which some feel is their birthright and which Ndigbo will get over their dead body), is nothing but a distraction....diversionary, and a poisioned chalice!
That's what I'm trying to make them understand. Our republic is better being second class citizens in Nigeria. They think that presidency will achieve anything for nndigbo which is a lie.

He just told you the truth. Igbos are no saints. Your tribe pushed Nigeria into its first military coup. You can't destroy the country and then want to leave.
It's okay if you love the country, but blaming igbos for the failure of Nigeria is very foolish. If igbos are the cause of the failure, then what's stopping the presidency from signing out biafra So that you people that did not destroy the country can be happy ?

If you guys continue this way Ndi Igbo will remain in political limbo for a long time,I mean in a state of not being fully in Nigeria and totally not in Biafra.
Let us find a way and built up our homeland politically and economically first.President of Igbo extraction is a good one to start with.
Read my second paragraph oga. Igbo presidency will not achieve anything for nndigbo and that's the truth those politicians do not want to accept. Okay if we finally get the presidency, what's next? We will still be controlled by cabals, Nigeria will still remain the way it is till Jesus comes and then when it will be clear that we have cheated ourselves, we start chanting biafra again? This is the best time for everyone to work towards biafra. Nndigbo as a people are scattered. We are not together. We don't believe in Nigeria but we are relaxing in a failed country giving flimsy excuses about referendum and presidency.

Oh I forgot that I was not even talking to an igbo.

Nndigbo, we have seen that Nigeria cannot work for anyone. Wasting our time in a fruitless nation will not help us at all. Biafra is the only solution to the problem that we are facing presently in this failed country. Imagine where we would have been if we have broken away from this country a long time ago. By now, our achievements would have been countless. If we continue shouting referendum and presidency, I tell you, we would continue shouting it for the next 40years. The Nigeria that I am seeing will never be fruitful even in the next 2000 years coming. So why waste our precious time?

The spirit of Biafra has always been with us for years but we are distracted. We should Unite for the biafra cause. Let all our political leaders, religious leaders, and every well meaning igbo put hands together to form our own republic. It is for the betterment of our future generations. Do you expect our children to come into this world and continue shouting referendum and presidency? If our senators and political elites are serious with biafra, we wouldn't be in Nigeria by now.

I don't think dragging any igbo community of the south south will be a good idea. Let us break away first and concentrate on our own country. We have all it takes to be a world class economy. Let nobody deceive us. We have risen from the poorest to the richest within a very short space of time and we can definitely do that again.

God bless nndigbo

God bless Biafra

Honestly, with the way some people in this country talk, I thought that they loved the way Nigeria is and are proud of having their own as the vice president. They even boast that some people are jealous of the position that they are holding in the government and tag anybody that speaks against the government "wailers ". Some will say that they will get the vice president slot again if another election was conducted.

I'm surprised at this protest and I'm more surprised at the leader of this protest. Because if buhari were to contest for a third tenure ,they will happily vote for him again.
