Because through what you said the agent have been the one doing all that for ya since the first day

My friend went there with the photocopy of his passport data page and the UPS sheet they gave him the day he submitted his passport
You know the reason why he used the UPS was that he didn’t book appointment the day he went to submit his passport
So he can’t just go direct to embassy and submit his passport without appointment that’s why he went straight to UPS near the embassy and do it
So you case is just different

Am in ONITSHA....the passport was supposed to be sent to my agents office address in ibadan.

What do you intend to do, if you’re in Lagos I would have advised you to go there by yaself

I chatted the webchat for the UPS tracking number ..the lady I chatted with said none is available ..she still insisted that the passport has been couriered to UPS...finally she said I should write a mail canadang@vfshelpline.com to request for the AWB number...I am really confused about this whole thing...

in my own case they are saying that they have already couriered the passport to their courier service partner...are you saying the passport is still there and that they won't return it via courier?

Read the screenshot I sent, despite all that he still went there and got his passport
So am just assuming it might be opposite of what they wrote but since ya said he have paid already for the courier
Why not give them more time

A friend of mine asked me to get info for him from here but no one responded to my question yet

This is what they added to the mail they sent but despite all that he went their with just the two things I mentioned up there and got his passport by him self

Good day, please I just need clarification on this cause now I am concerned for my brother. He mentioned that when he went to submit his passport in Lagos, they asked him to show the documents they gave to him after he did his biometrics and when he showed it to them, they acknowledged it and returned the doc back to him. Should I be worried about the stamping of his passport? Please anyone with similar experience should help answer this too.

My friend never mentioned that, they took his with his passport then gave him courier sheet or whatever they call it with photocopy of his passport data page
That’s the only thing he went with the day he got his passport back

For all kind of visa. You can stay at each visit for a maximum of 6 months. Even if you have 10yrs visa. You must exit the country before 6 months or change your visa status before 6 months.

Gurus in the house...please your opinion is needed here...I submitted my passport for stamping since 7th July..on the 20th of July I received a message that the decision envelope for my application has been received at CVO Abuja and is ready for collection..I submitted in Lagos through my agent via UPS and the arrangement is that VFS will return it back to the address we provided..

Yesterday,I decided to track my application using the VFS global website and the message they drop their is saying that my passport has been couriered from Canada visa application centre to the courier partner on the 24th July 2023...that I should visit the courier partner website for the status of the shipment..

My agent said he has not received the package and that he is still waiting for it.

Please is it possible that the passport is still with VFS even though they sent the message that it has been couriered to the courier partner??

Your opinion is needed please.

Let that agent go there and get it by his or her self, someone I knew got same message but couldn’t wait to for the courier, he went there and get it by his self
Don’t listen to what ever they are saying or sending to ya, believe me that ya passport have been there since they sent ya that mail
Let him or her go with the courier shit and the passport data page they gave him or her on the submission day
After submitting your passport they will give a sheet that you will come with on the collection day right
Tell him or her to go with it at the Canada embassy which is located at lekki

No I did not. Neither did i attach the yellow slip either. I am suspecting that is why it was returned but its unfortunate no letter or reason was given for returning the package.

That’s the reason they didn’t stamp it, did you submit it by your self or through courier
They would have asked ya about it since they couldn’t find it
You have to resubmit and if it’s more than 30 days just like you said it may lead to visa refusal
You have to submit through courier I think they do some kind of appease which will cost ya a little cash

The police in Anambra State have neutralized five criminal suspects allegedly belonging to the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and Eastern Security Network (ESN).

The state's Commissioner of Police, Echeng Echeng, disclosed this at a press conference on Wednesday night.

The CP said, " By 3 pm( today) joint security forces in a village, Akwaihedi, Nnewi south, a border town between Imo and Anambra State accosted a deadly gang of five operating on motorbikes suspected to be members of proscribed Indigenous People of Brafia (IPOB) and Eastern Security Network (ESN) who were en route to Anambra for a planned attack/operation.

"The operatives engaged the assailants, neutralized five of the gang members, and recovered two rocket launchers, four Ak47 rifles, one automatic pump action, four magazines, eight live ammunition, police berets, charms and other incriminating items."


Narrating the achievements of the police in the state, Echeng said the battle against insurgents in Anambra State was focused and it would remain sustained until such a time security stability would be fully restored in the state.

He said," There were some major positive developments today 10/5/2023, following so much credible information to the Police Command from the residents of Anambra, we have identified some of their criminal hideouts/camps.

" The Police operatives attached to Rapid Response Squad, Akwuzu in the earlier hours of today while in an attempt to rescue two of the kidnapped Victims stormed into a camp at ifite, Ogbunike, Oyi LGA, neutralized two of the armed men, recovered a black Lexus SUV with a lot of security uniforms which comprises of Police and military.

"We want to state categorically that the synergy of police, military, other security agencies and vigilantes has helped immensely in the tackle and fight against the insurgents in the state. For us today, this is a big positive one that happen to avert a major planned attack in the State.

"I urge everyone to cue in and continue to support the security agencies and the State government to bring security stability to the state. Kudos to all the security agencies who have been in constant onslaught against these criminal elements in the state."
