Thanks for checking on me bro, the matter no easy for me oh, as I no get person for there and the way people sounds concerning the job hunt is hectic for me, I have conclude my mind that I will make the move
Am going to Ethiopia office to book my ticket tomorrow morning, after that then I will book hotel then wait for departure date, my passport will expire on April 17, 2024. The department date I choose is 14th of this month, I think I still have 6months left before departure
So I will come and try my luck
Have been going through bookings.com to know if i can see little cheaper hotel, the list I saw was 172k for 6nights (Toronto)
I think that will commence after I have booked my ticket tomorrow, I will still come for ya help abeg, to know the one I can easily cancel once am in thou I saw free cancellation on some of them but it says free cancellation before 12th oct 🤷‍♂️

Anyways am reconsidering somethings, don’t want story that touches the heart
Instead of me to waste such huge amount for flight and hotel booking in such a short period without even having anyone in there, and the winter is fast approaching
It’s better I take my time and plan well
I might still travel but for now, I haven’t see my self flying

That’s what I got for using a foolish agent
His customer service is a shit from day one 😏, am considering leaving the travel, I will reapply after it expires (that’s next year) hope it won’t hurt me in future

This is a very good lesson for all.
If I have seen this earlier,I wouldn't have gone ahead to submit my passport that will expire by May 30th 2024 for VISA stamping.

I got passport request August 21 st........ But went ahead to submit the passport that will expire May 30th 2024, by August 24th.

I should have renewed my passport to save future stress of applying.

It happened to me too, now am regretting everything, this agent have hurt me so much, could ya believe that asshole didn’t alert me earlier until when the 30 days window remain 3 days and I was afraid it will lead to visa deny if I didn’t submit it

Toronto is a very strict POE, pls do yourself a favour and fly in thru Montreal POE, they are nicer there than Toronto

Ontario was mentioned when applying for my visa as place of visit( it’s tourist visa)

If you don’t have a skill in demand or don’t have at all, just use study as your best option. I’ve not seen anyone gtn LMIA job for now, I’m still hoping to see thou. The two ppl I’ve spoken with, they were charged 16k n 25k cad, that money can start something for study route. Nobody going tru this will come online to tell you the reality of things, so just prepare yourself.

So far so good I’ve bn loving it here, to those still waiting for PPR God will do it soon!

You only need to get a job that has LMIA, the employer will pay for it himself not you, and u will go to the nearest US land border close to you to change it from VV to Work Permit

I don't think u can even pay for it yourself even if u have 15k CAD, pls don't let anyone deceive you, and from what I heard it's around 1k dollars,

Look for hotel on booking.com that has free cancellation and choose pay on arrival at the hotel . You may need to enter your card details but you won't be charged
