Hi everyone
I applied to Nord University and they asked for English translation of documents. My documents are in English already. Do I still need to translate it?
Hi, the translation is needed only for docs not in English. Except there is a way you can translate English to English without synonyms.

thanks for the reply, what other ways can one use in entering norway legally
Study still remains the best bet. Work visa is a hard nut to crack, because it's very difficult to get a job from outside the country; though easier to get within.

Then, through the Spousal visa, if you have a spouse there or can get one -( you know what I mean?)

That means norway na no go area for bsc applicant, but proficiency in norwagian lang test proof, will visa be issued
Is it really realistic to get the proficiency when you have to attend the Norwegian Language class in Norway?

If you really have proof; then you won't be applying as an international student but as a resident.

RomanceKillers Of The Youth by MUNAZZ(op):
The youth have long been bedeviled with plethora of nefarious activities inhibiting them from attaining their full potentials and reaching their apex.

On the quest to reach the promise land, the roads are filled with hurdles, morass, obstacles, peer pressure that would clog an individual from getting to their destination. These situations can be avoided or overcome if an individual is focused, discipline and determined to reach greater height or fulfill their ambition. Some of the killers of youth which causes some to be delinquent will be outlined here, we start with:

BAD FRIENDS

Bad friends have sent many impressionable persons to their creator, caused the incarceration of most and have left some to rehabilitation centers. It is imperative to cut ties of bad influences; bad ally can only promote and nurture troubles.

CULTISM

The advantage of cultism is zero(0), but the disadvantages are exceeding infinity, youth are promised good lifestyle, connection, bevy of ladies and all what not, cultism has for long reared its ugly head in tertiary institutions, streets, creeks, e.t.c Causing agony to families, destruction of properties, cut the lives of promising young individuals short. Fight between rival gangs for supremacy has brought about grief, expulsion of students and carnage in higher institutions.

UNHEALTHY COMPETITION

These trend has forced unfocused individuals to engage in illicit trade, prostitution(runs), internet fraud(y.y boys), kidnapping, armed robbery, admission racketeering e.t.c.

SUBSTANCE ABUSE

Marijuana(Mary J) and other substances has eroded the determination drive in some youth, they have become addicts, peddlers, some have reach the advance level of injecting substances into their body system leaving them vulnerable, depressed and anxious. They sometimes end up on the wrong arm of the law or in rehabilitation centers.

SOCIAL MEDIA

Social media in itself is not bad, as it has been able to foster unity and friendship, but the over-indulgence in social media has exposed youth to love peddling, Impersonation, spread of hate messages, debauchery. It takes up the integral part of their life, leaving no space for study and meaningful activities.

INDECENT DRESSING

Indecent dressing has exposed some youth to rape, harassment, target of cult groups, target for mischievous lecturers and portray one as an immoral individual or a sex object who willingly negotiates or offer sex on demand.

MATERIALISM

Seemingly, the urge to live an ostensive lifestyle as a youth, even when their parents still pay their tuition fee, live under their parents roof or their parents are not well to do, some youth compromise themselves to get the latest gadgets, cars and other luxurious materials. They end up doing distasteful things to achieve their mundane desires.

DRUNKENNESS

Some youth have become breweries and distilleries, they drink to stupor and have no regrets, they tend to become abusive. Endangering their kidneys and exposing themselves to theft and other vices.

SALVATION PEDDLERS

Disapprovingly, some youth do not pray and their faith is not strongly rooted in God, they leave their fate to prophets of doom, who take advantage of them, they run to this false prophets when they have little problems and cases where common sense is applicable, their quest for protection, prosperity and success has led many astray.

PORN (Bleep)

Pornography sites, movies, magazines have greatly influenced the youth negatively. Psychologically distorting their mindset, leading many to be addicts, rapists, gay, lesbians, bi-sexual and womanizers. Moreover it has also culminated to sodomy, incest, pedophile, e.t.c exposing them to STD HIV and unwanted pregnancy.

BAD GOVERNANCE

The system and policies of the government have had little or no positive impact on the youth, thereby making the youth gullible and use as political thugs and sycophants. Unemployment, Lack of education and youth empowerment programs, has made the leaders of today vulnerable to misguided and unscrupulous elements who introduces them to extremist, insurgence, militancy and other social vices.

DIABOLICAL PRACTICES

It no news that internet fraudsters sort for spiritual inclination to execute their shenanigan agenda. The runs girls also enshrine awful means to help capture their prey, some youth engage in money rituals, exam success charms, love charms e.t.c.

EXCESS PARTYING/ CLUBBING

Some youth spend virtually all their time fraternizing, leaving other aspects of their lives to suffer; they tend to become addicts and leaving their sole purpose in their environment to oblivion. Sometimes they are caught up in some brawls, fight over women, excess drinking, and prey for mischievous elements.

The side effects of these hideous acts are often not immediate and it ruins the future of such an individual. Killers of the youth dream can be surmounted by constant prayer and hard work e.t.c. to be successful; you need patience in all you venture into.

if all i think about is just money, then i would celebrate.my concern will be how he (dangote) can take responsibility by making it legitimate; remember no one takes baby mama serious in official dealings.

RomanceThe Era Of Baby-mama and Baby-papa by MUNAZZ(op):
It is highly and morally reprehensible the trend which the society adopts as norms. The era of ‘Baby-mama and Baby-papa’ which is ubiquitous and egregious, now a thing of pride rather than shame.

We should bear in our sub-consciousness that ‘Everyone is doing it,’ does not systematically mean it is right .We celebrate immoral act as good principles; the role and function of a family must be strengthen and vivified to help reduce the carnage we witness in our society.

It is appalling and disheartening that people we look up to as our ‘Role model’ display this show of indecency. Let us consider how tough it is for these kids born out of illegitimacy; the psychological effect of not having the love of both parents. We must continue to uphold ethics and value to consolidate the family, communities and the Nation at large.

Furthermore, it should be a point of reference or obligation not to celebrate Baby-mamas or Baby-papas. Preferably, let us not allow the extinction of values which our fore bears stood for, the western lives comes with the good and bad platform. Let us try and inject the good into our mainstream and expel the bad. Bad does no man good and good no man bad. Let us always register our displeasure over this growing scourge.

Furthermore, we have to savage our society from the notion of ‘Free world’ the more we abhor this distasteful act and preserve our norms, standards and culture, the better for us all; since the acculturation of heterodox, erodes the society of its values.

Finally the celebrities and those held in high esteem hold us a duty to sustain and nurture our culture as the young look unto them for inspiration.

Christianity EtcCan I Call You A Christian? by MUNAZZ(op):
Christianity means ‘Christ like,' the imitation of Christ’s live on earth. It is easy to label one a christian because of his or her religion. But, being a christian goes beyond the movement. It’s more about the character, demeanor and decorum of any individual. How you treat others is paramount to a christian live.

Do you offer assistance in return for sex? When it rains, do you purposely splash water on the people when you drive pass? Do you render services or assistance to only your family, tribe, kin and kith? Do you blatantly disobey the security personnel, ushers in the church and other higher authorities? Do you insist on bribe before you carry out your duty? Do you appreciate the good work (success) of others?
Do you continue dating a girl for years even when you have no plan of leading her to the altar? Do you believe that fraud and crime is the only way to make it in life? Do you watch your neighbor die, when you could have been of help? Do you treat your workers with respect or disdain? Do you inflate contract to amass wealth?

Do you believe in the business of selling your body? Do you think the orphans, widows, widowers, and less privilege around you are not worth your help? Do your embezzle money entrusted to your care? Do you steal church monies or you a grand theft master of people’s valuables?

Do you sell expired/ substandard products harmful to health? Do you involve in diabolic practices? Do you bury your talent and avoid being productive? Do you board public buses and evade payment? Do you destroy public properties? Do you spend on your mistress, when your wife is home desolate? Are you a champion when it comes to sexual immoralities? Do you sponsor ethnic/ religious strife? Do you specialize in slandering people’s good name? Do you say ‘thank you’ and ‘sorry’ when it is lest expected? CAN I THEN CALL YOU A CHRISTIAN?

PoliticsNIGERIA : The Weird Nation by MUNAZZ(op):
It quite amusing and amazing when people support political bigwig for a particular course; everyone indeed is entitled to his or her opinion. It is even more saddening that persons who have held our dear country from progression have continually have fan base that have become their informal defense attorney. It is a fact that the PDP used the last 16yrs of its governance to take the country 16yrs backward. That said; However, it is funnier that the incumbent government never cease to stress and give excuses that it’s inefficiency is due to the past administration inefficiency. The question is thus: who has never been in power in this administration? 65% of the actors in this current stage have either been in PDP, ACN, APGA, ANPP and CPC or had a role to play in the past administrations. What did they use the powers then to do? Can we please list their achievements? Why do the youth of this country have to earnestly support theses elites whose epistle of achievement cannot be more than the front page of the dailies? Why do you support these corrupt individuals and fight for them over issues they have no interest in?

Psychological maneuvering brought in the current senate president and speaker who had always been in power, (just to mention a few) if you expect a change, then you have to wait for the next general election. I will be in particular with OBJ, GEJ and PMB, I will omit UMY, (may his soul rest in peace) because of short stay and terminal illness. It strange to see people defend GEJ, exonerate and absolve him of any wrongdoing, yes! He transited peacefully, OKAY! Furthermore, some group see nothing wrong for a khaki turn agbada individual, who had ruled the country 30yrs ago assume presidency, who is cut-off from the governed, hardly travel round the federation to have a firsthand assessment of urgent national matters, who is more vocal outside the state than in his constituent; whose uncouth statements accelerated the sinking of the ship.
Pertinent to note that the transgression of OBJ, GEJ and PMB is the reason we in this uncertainty and will not change the status quo. We all agree corruption is the bane of a nation, what is corruption? I would make comparison between the aforementioned personalities. Who has ever been convicted after the much touted anti corruption drive, after much accusation of embezzlement, subversion, and abuse of office et al? We witnessed numerous probes, committees and panels, all to no avail and no one is currently serving jail terms. We hear of monies been recovered with no transparent due process, the least they could come up with is ‘PLEA BARGAIN.’ Lord have mercy! If we can recover all looted funds and re-invest into the system, UAE will be far behind.

In the area of energy, lest I forget, some people would say “it is too early to judge PMB, let give him more time” my dear, if you don’t have a plan from inception, you will never achieve anything, Enough said; Refineries have never worked or had the capacity ever been increased, what happened to monies injected for the turnaround maintenance of this facilities. It is still not working at the moment. Importing is now a means, what happened to ajaokuta and coal? To mention a few.
Agriculture: do you know that a former president has a farmland a size of the community, it nice though! Why do they insist the youth should go to agriculture without incentives or without a lead? Whatever happens to reciprocating the OBJ farm as a national asset by building national farms like the architecture of the NNPC.

What have these leaders done differently in the area of transportation (rail connecting all parts of the federation, ferries, road and air) can we boast of our own airline? What of Aso-rock budget, where feeding a day cost more to feeding the populace. What of the justice system where it easier to convict a common man or maybe the law is design for the masses.

What of the hospitals, why do they keep receiving treatment abroad, importing refined oil, clothing materials, bag of rice and so many endless commodities? What of security? Please note that people have always live in peace in some state, but when the reverse was the case, it became evident that there has never been security of lives and properties. Can we say something contrary about the educational sector (schools, libraries and research centers) absolutely not! Most have become an eyesore where it isn’t fit to rear pigs, what of the sea ports, apart from the Lagos port, which other port is viable? What of sports , sorry football, and so many other retrogression.
It time we reflect on this political game of the elite and use our energy to move this country forward instead of praising and defending those who their action and inaction landed us in this mess.

Please note:
• it time the youth formed a formidable party
• Military regime was excluded because it has no democratic structure and no rule of law.
