I really don't understand how the word "traitor" entered into the political discourse. Amaechi didn't betray his country neither did he renounce his citizenship.

the people castigating the poor woman have not been to the Nigeria house in Manchester UK or the Nigerian High Commission in London. i know burning a passport is extreme, she only said that out of frustration. Truth be told, you dont have to travel far before you face issues that make you wish you were not born a Nigerian. for example, i was at the Oshodi post office to post an important letter, I arrived at the office at some minutes past 2pm and the lady at the desk was busy on the phone, after waiting for like 15 minutes she declared that she has closed and that I should come back the next day.

I feel the lady's pain. i would not tear or burn my passport though.

I actually thought GEJ was better than this. It is left for the public to decide if they buy the idea of a certain candidate becoming the next governor of a state. Parties would always act in their own interest. The democrats in the US would never endorse a republican even if the said republican is far more qualified than their own candidate. So if you don't like Action Congress' choice, you can always vote for the opposition. So there is nothing like an imposition of candidate.

don't knw y everything in Nigeria is tribalised. How many people are jostling for the presidency in 2015. Its democracy for christ's sake. We have about 10 political parties. Everyone is entitled to aspire for higher office.

WOTCLEF was the only pet project that genuinely touched the lives of some people. The rest of them are just shams.. Most especially better life for rural women. all their meetings were in Lagos or Abuja. Only God knows how many rural women benefited from such white elephant projects.

Anybody singing the praise of GEJ has never left the shores of Nigeria. I am not expecting a miracle as regards infrastructural developments. These things take time. Comparing Fashola to GEJ does not do any of them justice. Each of these leaders has different size of fish to fry.

However, the issue of corruption and insecurity does not need ages to address. Budget implementation is about 40%, cronyism in every part of the federation, corruption everywhere. It is either GEJ performs or not. If there is no change in 3 years, it is safe to say there wont be much change after 8 years.

And please all these projects that are being peddled as GEJ's achievements, We need proofs (Pictures and Videos). We cannot rely on hearsay anymore. I cant believe anything Labaran Maku or Rueben Abati say.
