U can get some houses on the island (from lekki phase 1 round about to vgc) for about 27-30 million..
Its true some plots are worth more than that, and some plots in lekki phase 1 are over 70million..but it's possible to get the above listed price..

No. the thing was using part of a name price. not using all the money on property. If want my comfort, i go for place in an established estate. but if i want business as business man, i go for a place developing where i can re-sell in a space of time.. Thats just the angle am taking it from. And island is not the only good place in Lagos. there are choice areas on mailand as well.

When you are opportuned to come across 45 million naira, the wisest thing to do is invest it into something productive, Triple it and then acquire properties.

Now assuming you have 45 million and you buy a house of 40 million and maintenance issues arise, you have a slight tussle with government over ownership or the place you obtained has some kind of fault. Then you sell it for 20 million, because you didn't plan for hazards that come along with property acquisition.

Have you ever bought a land and then later found out that some part of the land is slanted or it's prone to erosion, then you have to strengthen the foundation, and you'll end up spending almost half the purchase price on it.

That's why wise sensible people wait till they're thrice as capable before purchasing any property because of hazards associated with it.

Look who is backing your claims, a person who works for pay, what does it know about property and real money ?

45 million,
you spend 15million on shares from a reputable company.
you buy a house of 20million. and furnish. get a 2millionaira suv.
even u can split the shares between two or three different companies.
remaining 8million may even go into getting a running business like super market etc.
You shouldn't rush to break it down in the hazardous way. u made risk 45%. When we all know every business goes with risk. And u also sounded like as if there other ways u or any HMs u are supporting can spend the money without encountering risk. Even on a normal day u know no one can spend all if it all he or she has got.
If teddy, cc or anyone said he can spend it all. U never can tell if they have more in their account or that's all they may have. After all, all the HMs have something seriously fetching cash for them if u watched them profile themselves some weeks ago. Bbn only gives u opportunity to fame and popularity. for the grand prize it must finish one day.
And one thing i noticed, the people who shine most aren't the winners sometimes. Ebuka is a case study.
