Ginaz: Is really true God gives love and peace of mind alone, I think it is high time we ladies sit down and really think hard about our prospective about marriage? Are you getting married cos of pressures from friends or family or cos you have an idealistic view about marriage or cos all your friends are getting married? Till you have a realistic and factual reasons for getting married, you can never be happy. Dont marry out of desperation, its not a must to marry and I haven't seen in the Bible that it is a must.
Please allow me to tell you a true life story that happened in my compound, this girl got married to a man, she already have a child outside wedlock. Days after marriage, there was no peace as they fight day and night. To our shock, a highly materialistic celebrated marriage turned to the worst just 2 months.
The lady said she was tired and can't cope any longer, behold, we thought it was something that could be remedy but she left to her father's house and took poison and died. Yes, she did. Its no friction or joke, this is true life story.
Let's we ladies be careful, desperation will make us lose focus on our own God ordain husband. Marriage no be by force o. If I get married or not, that's not my top priority, all I want from Jehovah is happiness and peace of mind cos it far out weight everything. nawa o...but e be like u be sis for one church like that |
Politics › Re: Kaduna Refinery Restarts Production by murphyibiam15(m): 10:35pm On Dec 20, 2015 |
ABDULKKR: Kaduna Refinery and Petrochemical Company, which has the capacity to refine 110,000 barrels of crude oil a day, restartedproduction on Saturday after it was closed for months for repairs.
The managing director, Pipelines and Products marketing Company, Esther Nnamdi-Ogbue, said on Sunday that the plant, which was closed in September, came back on stream ahead of the December deadline for Nigeria’s four refineries to return to full production.
The group managing director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, Ibe Kachikwu, had issued a 90-day ultimatum to the managements of the fourrefineries shortly after his appointment last August.
Mrs. Nnamdi-Ogbue said the Kaduna plant, which is currently undergoing a test run of its production lines, is expected to commence trucking of petrol by the end ofnext week.
“Kaduna refinery came back on stream on Saturday as scheduled and is running,” thePPMC boss told PREMIUM TIMES on Sunday, via text message.
“PMS (Premium Motor spirit, also called petrol) should be available for trucking by the end of the week. The refinery is expected to produce an average of about 1.6 million litres of PMS daily once in full operation,” she said.
Prior to its closure in September, Kaduna refinery had stopped working for most partof the year, except briefly in July and August, when its utilisation capacity dropped to about 2.6 per cent and 10.5 per cent respectively, according the NNPC monthly operational report for October.
On Friday, Mrs. Nnamdi-Ogbue said resumption of production in other refineries would follow before the end of the year, first by the 210,000 bpd-capacity Port Harcourt refinery shut-down since October.
The 125,000 bpd-capacity Warri refinery, which was closed since September for repairs, would be the last to come back on stream, according to the resumption timeline expected to see all the refineries come back on before the end of the year.
The restart of production at the Kaduna refinery should be a cheering news for Nigerians, who have endured weeks of scarcity of petroleum products.
Part of the problem is because PPMC is currently saddled with the responsibility ofimporting and supplying 100 per cent of the average 40 million litres daily national fuel consumption capacity, as none of the major and independent oil marketers is involved in the fuel importation programme in the country at the moment.
Before now, the PPMC and the other oil marketers used to split the responsibility of importing fuel at the ratio of 52:48.
But, with the backlog of unpaid fuel subsidy and accumulated foreign exchange differential, the oil marketers had opted out of further importation, leaving it to the PPMC.
http://www.premiumtimesng.com/business/oil-and-gas/195494-kaduna-refinery-restarts-production.html imagine having refinery in a state/region that is dried and doesnt produce oil and yet non in south west/south east that are also oil producing NORTHERNERS I HAIL UNA OO |

Imagine the ladies that attacked Basket mouth on his joke saying that he promoted rape but they danced very well to the non sense music of olamide(story for the gods)that is a real promoter of rape. I rest my case. BUT U'VE GOT TO UNDERSTAND THAT IS NOT ABOUT NIGERIA AS INTERNET KNOWS NO BOUNDARY..SO WHO'S GONNA ENFORCE THE LAW? |

delectablegyal: I doubt if there is any relationship without sex these days. Even the media is not helping in anyway to curb pre-marital sex instead, they are enhancing it. Can u think of any music video that doesn't display obscene scenes? I doubt. Ladies shaking their buttocks, showing ladies taking bath in the bathroom, ladies putting on mosquito net calling it fashion. Look at that girl in iyanya's okamfo video, she is somebody's future wife.
Almost everywhere u go, u can't do without seeing these half unclad ladies. Even inside b.r.t, u ll see a screen playing fans mi by davido, real mvp by olamide, b.r.t that is for both adults and children. Will u now cover your ward's eyes? Saying "don't watch it, too many half unclad ladies inside".
What's the way forward? How can pre-marital sex be curbed?
Lalasticlala, food don land. since i have been viewing ur thread;this is the only sense making thread of yours back to the topic....it can only be curbed if there is decrease in technology advancement whereby there will be no need for using the internet and watching TV show...but of course u know is not possible to stop all these,so it cant be curbed |
Politics › Re: Should A SS/ SE Person Ever Rule Nigeria Again? by murphyibiam15(m): 3:58pm On Dec 20, 2015 |
bobbybash: I've being thinking on this subject matter for a while now.
Before now it was acclaimed that Gen Babangida ran the most corrupt administration in the history of this country, but GEJ took him to the dust in my opinion. Babangida would think himself schooled. the different revelations popping out in the public domain on how public funds was mismanaged in recent times has got me wondering.
GEJ's time as president is supposed to be the most prosperous times (OIL PRICE WISE) in the history of this COUNTRY with crude oil selling for most of his tenure at over $120/barrel still we ended up broke.
I also understand that the First lady charged a token ($30,000) off any one that wanted to see the president. and even Alamieyeseigha was granted state pardon to show the level of impunity and abuse of power.
So i'm thinking if its public knowledge that our people from the SS/SE would do anything for money should we give them another opportunity in the near future to rule again, KNOWING STEALING IS NOT CORRUPTION mynd44 lalasticlala seun take down this thread for its divisiveness |

Jarus: Sanusi is neither a bigot nor a thief. I can say that anywhere.
Yes, he's my mentor, far before he became CBN boss, I've been his admirer. Wish I could retrieve a a NL thread of 2008 where role models were being discussed and I listed Sanusi (FBN CEO ) and Fola Adeola as mine. That was before he became CBN governor.
I know SLS on personal basis and he's neither a thief nor a bigot, except of course like everyone is proud of his ethnic origin, he's proud of being a Fulani man. We have discussed this extensively on NL around 2009/2010 and not sure I have the time and energy to go into back and forth again.
What do I like in him? I have listed that many times on NL.
1, Like me, he combined corporate job with writing and intervening in national discourses.
2, He's largely fearless and courageous.
3, He read wide. YOU DIDNT JUST MAKE SENSE...SOON DEVIL GO BE UR MENTOR TOO..#JUSTSAYING |

Politics › My Encounter With A Female Secretary by murphyibiam15(op): 12:44pm On Dec 19, 2015 |
Before now i have always thought that the female folks were better trained to handle and attained to services esp in an office setting not until i finished university and needed to do my clearance...i finished from the university of Nigeria where i studied medicine...i actually finished this year and wanted to do my whole clearance this year so that by January i will know that i just have my induction into the medical and dental council of Nigeria to contend with.
So as the process was ongoing, moving from office to office i met this lady in the office where i needed to change my first year teller to receipt, the lady in question was so hostile and asked us to wait outside for like 3hrs and the worst was that she wasn't even the one who is to change it..luckily for me i met one man working there whom i have changed receipt in his hands before who now directed me to the proper person doing it..surprisingly this same lady still came there and ordered us to still wait outside in another man's office that the man needs to do something for her....if not that the man rebuked her and asked us to stay we wouldnt have still changed it.. NOTE:This is not my first experience with the hostility of female secretaries as if i am the one responsible for the husband starving them of sex..and am not the only one who has undergone same treatment by female secretaries in the university..
IS THERE ANYBODY WHO HAS HAD SIMILAR EXPERIENCE? LETS SHARE THEM |
