Politics › Re: 'We Are Your Subjects & Children'- Eze Ndigbo Akure Moves To Reconcile With Deji by murphyibiam15(m): 9:36am On Oct 20, 2015
GentleToks:
I am an Akure indegene and it's a known fact that Igbos have enjoyed a peaceful co-existence with Yorubas in Akure for years. You need to see the Igbos in Akure to know what i am talking about; they have literally become Akure bona fide indegenes with their children speaking the local dialect fluently.

However, it will be suicidal for Igbos not to be boundary conscious like their Hausas/Fulanis counterparts who are equally at the same level with Igbos as far as business and population are concerned. The Hausas/Fulanis own all the shops in Sabo along Odo-Ijoka road towards the state stadium and all the way towards the mini Sabo along Oba-Adesida road. They own all the shops in the Sabo at Odo-Ikoyi junction as well as the money exchange business by Post office junction towards Oba palace.

These Hausas/Fulanis are making their freaking Benjamis but maintaining and keeping low profile. Igbos need to learn that spirit of humility and respect from these Hausas/Fulanis.

In eventuality of Igbos being seen by Akure indegenes as tribal enemies, the outcome could better be imagined. Those guys aren't smiling menh cos war/fight is their daily watchwords. I believed that some Igbo elders witnessed what happened in Akure in early 80s(Omoboriowo riot in which Akure indegenes were burning and killing people on the streets).

I ll implore Igbos not to allow the money they have made to get into their heads cos money is the bane of all evil. The peace and sanity they have enjoyed over 50years in Akure should be protected and cherished at all cost by obeying and respecting our traditional values. That's the only demand(Respect our cultural values) of Akure people from Igbos and others unlike where Igbos are being taxed by the indegenes. Nobody is taxing or demanding all sorts from Igbos in Akure and this alone should be appreciated by Igbos.
dont u think they are yorubas too living in the south east....if u dont know let me tell u that they are many of them and most yorubas make the cloth i wear here...and for the riot and giving us history of previous destruction of non-indigenes by ondo natives in 80s do u think anybody has the monopoly of violence? u guys shouldnt turn a beautiful thread like this for some personal gains .

The most fun in a relationship is growing together. I don't mind young ones dating people around their age. Besides, they are legal to marry anytime after 18. Its their choice to marry at 18 or 35.

There is also no problem with 10 ex's to me. A lot of issues come up in relationships so breaking up with someone might be necessary especially between 18-25. This is the primetime of people's life. Going to university, first jobs etc. Stability is not common in these relationships most of the time.

I agree with you about the straffing partner thing. Some people are in it for the sex.
nne lee ihem n'ekwu maka ya...some will have the tell tale signs that it wont lead to marriage and still go ahead to date....for instance u met guy whom u know clearly has no intent for marriage and u still follow suit at the end both of u dumo each other..

so u are telling me having 10 ex's isnt a bigg deal then be ready to answer mary Magdalene

Trust me, ejim ya nwayo...
Even though you weren't talking about her, from my findings on this forum, A male straffs and is hailed while his female counterpart is condemned.

Not like I'm in support of the act but this is hypocrisy of the highest other cos last time I checked the guys don't sleep with goats, it's still those females that are condemned, your comment proved me right..

It's all good sha smiley smiley
lolz....is not really like that....is just most of the time the some gals engage in sexual debut from a quite early age;thats why it seems they receive most of the condemnation

Thank you for breaking up with me less than 2 months after
I was 16, you were 25. You fuccking pervert!

Raayah
so u started straffing from the age of 16?...smh..so u were expecting to get married at 20 after 4yrs of dating or at 25 after 9yrs of dating.

the whole essence of dating nowadays is generally to have a legitimate straffing partner and not even to marry...make we tell ourselves the truth.
even 15yr old gal go enter in a rship and b4 she's 25 she must have had like 10 ex's

Politics › Would Yoruba Elders Have Threatened To Secede If Falae’s Kidnappers Were Igbo ? by murphyibiam15(op): 11:27am On Oct 15, 2015
By Levinus Nwabughiogu
ABUJA – A group known as North East Solidarity Forum condemned the
recent secession threat made by some Yoruba groups, describing it as a
treasonable felony.
Listing the groups as the Yoruba Council of Elders (YCE), the Yoruba Unity
Forum (YUF), the Oodua Foundation, Afenifere, the Oodua Peoples Congress
(OPC), the Coalition of Yoruba Autonomy (COYA), the Oodua Democratic
Coalition (ODC), the Ominira Yoruba Apapo, and the Agbekoya Organization,
the Forum said that the statement was an utter reckless, calling president
Mohammadu Buhari to call the groups to order.
A communique signed by the Co-Ordinator General of the group, Usman
Abdulkadir a meeting accused the Yoruba elders of inciting the general
populace and especially the people of the South West region of the country
to violence and bloodshed.
The Forum which regretted that such statement could emanate from the
groups which he said should have noted the ethnic configurations of the
country, stressing that the kidnapping of the former Secretary to the
Government of the Federation was supposed to be a concern for all to help
the president Buhari tackle the incessant case of kidnapping and insecurity
at large.
“We have gathered here today to critically examine the recent unguarded
and unwarranted vituperations that emanated from the Summit of Yoruba
Elders in Ibadan, Oyo State and wish to state unequivocally that the threat
to secession in the South West must not be taken lightly nor ignored by the
Federal Government. It must be properly investigated by the security
agencies and all actors in the summit must be brought to book”, Abdukadir
said.
The forum recalled the situation of Boko Haram that has ravaged the North
East and the various incidences of kidnapping in parts of Nigeria, asking
whether the Yoruba Elders would have threatened to secede if the
kidnappers of Chief Olu Falae were an Igbo or from other tribes in Nigeria.
“We believe the threat of secession by the Yoruba Elders has a hidden
agenda which must be unravelled urgently by the security agencies because
of the weighty nature of their statement and we know that if any region is to
make such call, it should have been from the North East due to the ruin the
region has witnessed in the last four years”, he said.
Part of the Communique read:, “A call for the breaking of Nigeria by a
section of any individual or groups is a treasonable felony and there is no
exception to what happened in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
“While we condemn kidnapping or any act of criminality by any indidual in
the country and in any part of Nigeria, we want to use this opportunity to
call on President Muhammadu Buhari to use all available means to protect
the unity, oneness and integrity of this great country Nigeria. Nobody is
above the law and no tribe or ethnicity can threaten our corporate existence
without being called to account for their misdemeanours. The YCE should
not be an exception”. The group said.

HIV is not what I am afraid of. My greatest fear is being broke. With cash money HIV positive people can live comfortable for the rest of their natural lifespan.
is that what u think?..health is far greater than wealth if u dont know.yar'adua;stella obasanjo;Alemesiya;miriam babangida all had what we call money which nobody else in Nigeria has but yet they didnt have health..take charge of your health bro.

and for ur info who told u that a hiv patient has same life expectancy as normal ppl is washing ur brain
