[b][color=#990000]^^^^^Gbam!!!!Without doubt the FCT would have being worst than Lagos before fashola.he made the difference when he was minister of the FCT.He brought pain to people, who in there heart of hearts know they acquired or use lands not designated for there use/purpose.I don't know of anybody who lost his property in such a case that does not have an issue or case to answer. They come out shouting all over but calm them down you will find fraud and disregard for laws in the FCT development plans. They choose to buy there way or do as they please with impunity. When the bulldozer comes the shout foul play while they have no case. Some were on leased lands and governments gave them enough time to make money and return. When asked to quite you hear them shouting and pretending. The same man targeted and pulled down Ibrahim mantu's house and so many other big wit properties in Abuja.Pulled down religious places including mosque and enforce laws with regards to speakers, such that today the national mosque in Abuja speakers are not loud enough to travel beyond its walls.
He enforced a standard that brought beauty to Abuja. You liars are just trying to spoil his name.He cleared street hawking, begging and prostitution.I remember even Gov. Fashola commended him, asked for his solution to same mess in Lagos. He created the green zones, enforce the strict compliance on buildings and other things with the FCT that attracted investors in estate development. He may not be perfect but without doubt an undisputed and tested effective administrator. In terms of corruption, the same man expose the senators who asked him for money to influence the budget for the FCT.Haters will continue to hate.Like they say "what ever you do with the donkey he will still feed on straw"

@haka_nai in as much as u r entitle to your own opinion, I respect that fact but u hav to b factual also when u say certain things... Are u aware that during el rufia's tenure, he forcefully evicted 800,000 ( confirmed) residents using a myth he created about Abuja master plan to convince people that the plan justified and necessitated the systematic violation of housing rights of hundreds of thousands of people so that Abuja would not become 'another Lagos' . The use of tear gas, beating and other methods of violence were use to carry out this evictions, without allowing people retrieve properties from their homes, is this fair? Tell me...mayb u just want to b economical with the truth....

I cnt help but weep at the sight of this, innocent, helpless Nigerians being brutally rendered homeless without human pity by a selfish, inhuman, wicked man...I Neva thought he will Relinquish power someday, I thought he will remain in power all the days of his life acquiring chunks of land for himself, infants in his family, nysc girls, and faceless tom, dick and Harry ... But thank God for God, who listens to the cry of the oppress, and change all this in due time...whether the court shift d case to sept or dec, the law must surely catch up with him, Nigerians will rise up against this illegal acquisition of properties at the expense of the poor. After committing all this atrocities, he has the impetus, the odacity, to criticize govt, probably he has forgoten so quick, or he thinks Nigerians are fools...cameleonic personality, a deceiver, who is still eager to devour as many as he can..the Lord will help us
Politics / Re: Pastor Tunde Bakare: Between "Let Us Carry Jesus Up" And Political Desperation by MurphyT1: 12:23pm On Jul 04, 2012
The so acclaimed pastor has fast lost touch with the gospel which he claims to preach...I cnt imagine my self sit in church on Sunday mrg ready to b rejuvenated by d word of God, and a man who calls himself a pastor stands in front of me and spit out derogatory words on the president, due to is quest for to b in power, this is so disappointing and absurd....if the president does wot u think is wrong, as a man of God whom he claims to b, wouldn't it b nice to offer prayers..I know the Lord will deliver us frm the last days false prophet...we all hav a role to play to take our country to the next level, whether as individuals or as a church.
Politics / Re: El-rufai: A Nationalist Or Hypocrite? by MurphyT1: 12:05pm On Jul 03, 2012
without mixing words, he is really an hypocrite...the way and manner he piloted affairs while in power was so inimical, appalling, inhuman and selfishly minded..in one of his articles he said Nig's problems is as a result of cumulative failed pass Leadership, I wonder if he wasn't part of the pass leadership, if yes, then he is also one of the causes of Nig's problems.
So today, when I see El Rufai fighting on the side of the masses, I cannot help but wonder why he feels so suddenly passionate about these causes. If he did back then, he could have done soooo much more for the people while he was in government and had the ears of the president. Instead, he used his offices to benefit his friends and relatives ONLY! Most times at the expense of other citizens.
Politics / Faroukgate: Mr Integrity And The Crisis Of Identity by MurphyT1: 11:32am On Jul 03, 2012
Socrates, a geek philosopher once said, reputation built on falsehood collapses, and subjects the individual to ridicule and scorn when uncovered. Farouk Lawan, erstwhile Mr Integrity, arrow head and mastermind of the eviction of Patricia Etteh, and self acclaimed anti corruption crusader shocked the whole world when it was discovered that he was neck deep, receiving millions of DOLLARS in bribe. Although Farouk denied the claim, he later accepted, offering shaky arguments. Yesterday, an audio tape containing the conversation between Lawan and Otedola was released. We are however alarmed by the response of Lawan's lawyer who claimed Lawan's voice was doctored. Today we await the release of the video, but so many questions provoke a thinking mind...is Lawan really a man of integrity? Will he also deny his image in the video? Is Lawan really as " Honourable" as he will have us believe? Watch out for the video.
Politics / Re: Pastor Bakare Hits Harder: “down, Down Jonathan” by MurphyT1: 12:05pm On Jul 02, 2012
It baffles me when a supposedly man of God just derive joy in demeaning d govt of day cos of his selfish quest to be in power, when he is suppose to dish out life changing and lifting sermon for his congregation, it just baffles me, I wonder if he was actually called by God or he is an advocate of the under world #justsaying...

Politics / Re: General Buhari : A Hero Or Villain by MurphyT1: 4:39pm On Jun 30, 2012
My father was one of the Hero's of the Biafra War! He told me firsthand stories about top Military officers who were obviously part of that war and the politics that characterized the Nigerian Army in the 70's and 80's. In 1984 when Gen.Buhari was advised to retire top military officers, most of who overthrew him and eventually held this Nation to Ransome till 1998, BUHARI was indecisive and lacked the boldness to act like a C-in-C. The Question is, if Buhari had acted like a leader, will Nigeria be where it is today? Buhari failed yesterday,Nigeria is past him and we can't go back to 1985 to get a leader for Nigeria in 2015. I like his passion but as he demonstrated in the past, a 'passionate man' does not necessarily make a 'good leader!.

He doesn't seem to understand this fact, if he does, he won't stick up his head seeking for power again...Nigeria needs more than a passionate leader, she needs leaders with high level of new ideas, leaders with the ability to take crucial decisions when need be, not someone Like Buhari, obviously not...nice one Oman.
