There's no simple formula to work out what your savings after all expenses will be. Individual circumstances differ. Where you live, life style, savings habit etc will determine what you are left with before the next pay hits your account. Will your wife also work?

Anyway, on $6000 income expect to take home about $4700 after tax and Medicare levy. This sum assumes no additional tax refunds. I reckon you should be able to save $1800 - $2000 if you are the sole income earner. If your wife also works, then I'd like to know why you can't save $5000 - $6000 monthly.

Assumptions for a couple only
* Rent $400 per week for 2 bedroom in a suburb 40-60mins commute to the city.
* $400 per month on groceries except you have a large appetite like me.
* $400 per month on transport. PT assumed
* $100 per month on phone plan
* $100 per month on utilities. Could be slightly higher
* $100 per month on entertainment
* $50 on miscellaneous items.

I have been researching the health benefits of various plants and herbs and most times I hit a wall because even as most of these plants are available in Nigeria, we don't know their names in our local parlance. For instance I never knew the wonderful Neem tree is our popular Dongoyaro tree. This thread is for people to contribute their ideas on various plants in our local parlance.

Below are some ideas personally know
Basil plant is known as Nchanwu(hope I spelt that right)in Igbo and Effirin in Yoruba
Henna plant is the famous Lali used mostly by northernmost for body art
Hibiscus plant is what we call here as Zobo
tamarind is called tsamia here
Tumeric is ata Ile pupa in Yoruba
Cayenne is Bawa
Chilli is Shombo in Yoruba
Black pepper is iyere in Yoruba, Oziza in igbo
Thorny pigweed/prickly amaranth is tete eleegun in yoruba

Pls post yours. Note that the plant must be indigenous to Nigeria

And there are nothing like bot here this are Nigerian buying fuels from legalized petrol station, we are giving kilometres where petrol stations can be built So, are you telling me Nigerians living where it's Not approved by the government to build petrol station should not have asses to it, and if those people from Republic of Benin came in to buy fuel from my lagerlized filling Station , I should send them back or wat? There are approved kilometers given by Nigeria government for all petrol station to border so you don't have point
