Family pictures have been obtained, of the foreigner, George #Soare, who was arrested and has been arraigned and remanded in prison for mobilizing soldiers to beat a lady identified as Diva, in Lagos.

Now new details have emerged, of what actually happened. It was gathered that Diva wasn’t even the person that had a misunderstanding with Soare’s Nigerian wife at their No 5, Falilat shomade street, #Lekki home, on Wednesday, May 1, 2019. .

It was revealed that the misunderstanding was between the wife and a neighbor who Diva was visiting. According to other neighbors, Soare’s wife was fond of pouring water on them anytime there was a dispute and the lady only reacted that day, having had enough.

However, the man was said to have brought in four soldiers and ordered them to flog the neighbor, but since they couldn’t find her, they descended on her visitor, Diva. .

The victim was later whisked away and warned against reporting the incident if she doesn’t want to the shot. Meanwhile, the neighbors that witnessed the inhumane treatment rushed Diva to the hospital and got the police involved. .

Soare appeared in court on Thursday and was remanded in #Ikoyi Prison pending when Diva would fully recover. The government and some NGOs are said to have taken over the case to ensure justice.

Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun tell the Governor – Elect, Prince Dapo Abiodun that keys to the Government House are ready if he intends “to move in tomorrow.

The outgoing governor who said contrary to insinuations in some quarters that he had no plans to handover, his transition committee had been put in place “since December 2018.

”Amosun had worked against Abiodun who was candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the March 9 gubernatorial poll.

Amosun while promising a seamless transition ahead of May 29, said his government would not “bequeath disorder on his successor.

“He said “We will be in position to hand over a comprehensive handover note to you on May 28, 2019.”

“By God’s grace ,28th of May ,2019, we can sit down like this and hand over to you. We have not been sleeping so as to have a smooth running of the transition.”

“Government house, Oke-Igbein is ready, If you want to move in tomorrow. Both the Presidential lodge and government house are ready.

As soon as you tell us when you need the keys to the government house and that of the Presidential lodge , we will make them available”, he added.
