Politics › Re: BREAKING: FG Suspends Fuel Subsidy Removal by MXrep: 8:18pm On Apr 27, 2023
I said it, if they dare remove subsidy Igbos will take over fuel marketing business completely, whether importation or through Dangote refinery
Politics › Re: BREAKING: FG Suspends Fuel Subsidy Removal by MXrep: 8:16pm On Apr 27, 2023
YouandiAllofus:
Dangote will be the biggest beneficiary should subsidy persist. Through his refinery coming into full operation with the combined capacity to refine some over 60% of product for local consumption, the FG will be paying directly into the coffers of the company from public pocket. When these monies spent on subsidies can be utilized in other underfunded sectors such as security, education, healthcare and power.
Subsidy is paid to marketers not refineries

Travel › Re: New Airports In Nigeria: Anambra, Ebonyi & Ekiti Airports (Videos) by MXrep: 12:35pm On Apr 27, 2023
Father0fjesus:
I don't know who will be using Ebonyi and Ekiti airports. White elephant project for small states who should be looking at doing other things with their revenue.

Enugu airport is not far from Abakaliki. The moment you land in Enugu, the express way takes you to abakaliki straight to the opposite direction.
And no one goes to Ekiti via flight, only few people. No airline will want to invest in Ekiti now.

The only viable airport here is Anambra. Even at That, For someone like me, if I went to travel to onitsha, with the completion of second Niger bridge, I will prefer to land in Asaba instead of anambra (although it depends on the part of onitsha one is going to), I mostly go to head bridge market and Asaba airport is just the best for me.
Ebonyi airport is a misplaced priority. They are relying on Abia who will be using Owerri Airport till they build their own

Is Anambra better than Oyo?
Is Anambra better than Kaduna?
Is Anambra better than Kano?
Better in what aspects?

Leadership at the national level transcends building infrastructure. What Peter Obi is proposing is a total overhaul of the Nigerian state (instilling sanity and the rule of law) and expanding our economic frontiers (we call it diversification here).

There's so little the state can do in those areas. We need those more than anything else.

By the way, I noticed that you don't like Peter Obi, so you are likely going to attack him in your rejoinder to this comment. Sorry, bros, I won't react to it.
Why didn't they vote umahi in APC primary? Why compare umahi to Obi instead of comparing umahi to Tinubu? Can they point one infrastructure delivered by Tinubu? Peter obi built teaching hospital, university, state Secretariat, three malls, two hotels, many roads connecting all communities, moved the airport from oba to umueri, secured the land and kept enough money.

It's only in your head that "ur igbo hate onye Abakaliki "

In terms of generated revenue and
GDP, ebonyi is lowest in the east...umahi really did wonders in that state.
Instead of focusing on how Ebonyi has surpassed Ekiti by far, these people lack common wisdom. Why not "hate" omo Ekiti if it can make them achieve this

Ebonyi is getting far better than Abia, same as Enugu, haven't been to Imo for sometime now but somehow, u want to sell d picture that it's the Ieast in SE whereas u know at this rate, it is not the least except for ur Igb0 h8red for "Ony'abakiliki"
Please focus one your brown roof region and stay away from what you don't understand. Igbos are not weaklings like you who sit around and cry "hate" instead of waking up and taking correction. Ebonyi has woken up, go and wake up Ekiti

Igbos must queque behind umahi and emulate his life style and play a national politics.

Peter obi played a regional and religious politics the reason he was rejected in the North.

Peter obi is finished politically
Why didn't Northern delegates vote him during APC primaries?
Ogun and Ekiti airport has been commissioned how many planes don land there huh After borrowing 30 billion naira for the airport in Ogun
Osun airport has been taken over by Bush. Meanwhile, yorubas are trying to shame Peter Obi with Ebonyi airport instead of shaming their governors. Obi secured land for airport when he wants almost through and handed the land and money to his successor who built a befitting airport but Yoruba governors borrow for airport and squander then build boy's quarter as airport terminal. Watch Abia will build a classy airport in Otti's second tenure while they are struggling with debts
