The reason is not farfetched. Investors in the SW are mostly outsiders and foreigners, but now naira is crashing heavily and cost of production over the roof, it makes no sense for most foreign investors to continue pouring water inside basket. But in the East, local investors are in majority, so they don't really have need to repatriate funds that will become worthless after conversion. Other factors also make it easier for our local investors than foreign investors to survive in a rundown economy like ours.
