Jogs1900: It's commendable. Does It mean in 2027, if Alex Otti fails to get 25% in the capital city but have the highest number of vote cast in the election, there will be a rerun?? Does the ABA mayor have any constitutional backing? The law you are quoting does not apply to state election |

MrEverest: The reason is not farfetched. Investors in the SW are mostly outsiders and foreigners, but now naira is crashing heavily and cost of production over the roof, it makes no sense for most foreign investors to continue pouring water inside basket. But in the East, local investors are in majority, so they don't really have need to repatriate funds that will become worthless after conversion. Other factors also make it easier for our local investors than foreign investors to survive in a rundown economy like ours.
If Igbos should get more intentional, this is the time to completely take control. I went out to buy noodles today. They don't have indomie but have Bestie and Tummy Tummy. They said indomie has become unaffordable and people have switched to more affordable brands. Indomie is owned by Indians with factories in Ogun, pH and Kaduna. Tummy Tummy is in Nnewi owned by Nnewi man. Bestie noodle is in Nsukka owned by Nsukka man. Igbos will take over from the multinationals as bad economic squeeze them out |

Some mugus shut down Ladipo market expecting anybody to beg them. Only to realize that spare parts are now supplied to Lagos from the East and nobody send their papa. They shamelessly reopened it and started consoling themselves with nonesense wey nobody ask them to explain. The growth and expansion of markets and residential areas in the East is something else. Let the bagas demolish all markets in Lagos please, we are begging them now |

Ebubu: Jamb favorite candidate, NBS statistics is older and more outdated, this is statistics by statisense. I’m sure if statisense had said Ebonyi is too 7 in poverty you would have believed it. All you care about is that Ebonyi is a poor state even when the current statistics don’t put them among top 7. We know you hater. Enemy of Ebonyi’s progress. It doesn’t gladden you to know Ebonyi is not too 7. Your wailing will worsen in coming years. Statisense only used NBS Data to compute the percentage. The data is the same with NBS. Ebonyi has 3.7million poor people. And why not put the whole ranking let's see your position |

BoldBrainz: This was how we began to read sketchy stories of pockets of violence and kidnaps in the North Central States of Benue and Nasarawa when Buhari took the reins. Until the events overwhelmingly blew to uncontrollable spates of violence bordering on ethnic cleansing and land tussles.
Same way supporters of Buhari kept downplaying things from the beginning and attributing them to figments of the imaginations of bitter opponents, is the same way Tinubu supporters are playing politics with what's going in certain South West states right now.
Your Muslim(x2) ticket is already emboldening criminals of fulani extractions and they're slowly perpetuating societal ills in Yoruba lands, yet Tinubu's supporters are busy paying lip service and insulting others with pretentious rhetorics.
My only worry is the fact that SS borders Yoruba states and this menace is capable of exploding into our region when the chickens begin to roost. Otherwise, na to just sidon watch fulani people run una comot for una ancestral lands like they've done to certain areas of the middle belt.
Make una continue dey play politics with everything. Kwara state is potently looking like a conquered state already. Next is Oyo. Igbos have halted their advance and confined them to Benue. SS should watch their boarder with yorubaland |

Cruise777:

Standard definition of Poverty
Living on $1.7 a day less than $2
#1,300 to #1,500 per day
Living includes Rent , Feeding, Transport
A plate of average Nigerian meal is 600, eating twice a day is #1200
What metrics did PDP use I calling Nigeria poor
. Is twice a day the normal way to eat? |
