Remove the space between t. and me. It works. We still need more people to take the time slot.
Try it now or share your slot.

Link removed as people were just joining and not taking part. If you are serious about joining the telegram group and taking up a slot, DM me.

You however need to pick a slot where you will check every single day and report faithfully. Any non compliance leads to removal from the group.

Pls I am also interested in joining the telegram group. Thanks

Goodday , please I have a question. So I traveled 2016 dec to have my baby , due to unknown circumstances I had my baby at 28 weeks (premature) , it was a very traumatizing time for me. The baby stayed in the hospital for almost 2months but his pediatrician adviced we stayed back for a while until the baby is healthy and good to go. This required me to overstay more than 6months but I applied for an extension. Note that I didn’t violate any of their laws. Now I’m trying to renew my visa via Dropbox but I was asked to come for interview in April. Please has anyone experienced this and how well can I prepare. I am also not pregnant so I’m not applying to go for child birth.

Well, I also had a similar experience in 2013. Was stamped in for just 14 days because according to CBP, I got Visa for holiday and didnt state that I was coming for childbirth. I wasn't pregnant as at the time we applied as family for the visa and wasn't thinking of having another baby then. was also told by another CBP officer that I should have contacted a doctor before coming. I was asked to look for a doctor within 14days, pay my doctor and hospital fees and have the doctor write to USCIS stating the reason I cannot return to my country in 2weeks. I did and sent them a mail explaining why I cannot send in my application from the US, which by the way was because I didnt have some of the documents they requested for. Got back to Naija after childbirth and made sure I DHL d my application before the time I was given to apply for extension. Think I had just 2days to closure of the application after I returned then. We had to expedite the application letter with all that was requested. Monitored and followed up on their website to see if they received my application which they did. Was already back in Naija when the extension was approved.

So the question is, did you have your doctor do them a letter stating why you had to stay? Did you write to them stating why you can't return? Did you submit all the documents requested for? Was the extension approved? Cause I have done 2 dropbox renewals since then without interview.

Hi Curiouslearner, how far with your accommodation search. Found any yet?

Oh congrats, still trying to find something reasonable. Got an apartment but because I and family will only be staying for 2 months they are charging us over a $1k a month for a one bedroom. How much did you pay for sharing though?

That's a very good location for that hospital and for going around for shopping and other amusement locations.
Ask the accommodation owner if there are furniture in it at all.
I had same experience

Awesome then. Pls inbox me the apartment where you stayed.

Hello Wumai4real,

Do you already have an accommodation or you are looking for?

Will leave in November and will stay for months. Though I am also considering a few other accommodation. I just don't want to be alone in the apartment.

Yea, can imagine. Not fun when you are all by yourself with no company. You can look into sharing a 2 bed 2bath for 6 months. It's way cheaper than 3 months.

Please help a sister, I will be travelling to the US by February, 2019. Due date is April,2019. My US visa will be expiring by May, 2019. My Intl passport is still valid. My question is Will they still give me up to 6 months for the period of stay?
Or should I go ahead at apply for drop box to extend my us visa.
I will be willing to read your responses.

I would suggest you do drop box before you travel to avoid any doubts or issues at Poe or during renewal.

I know drop box allows you a year after expiration to renew thereby eliminating the stress of going for interviews or getting interview dates. If you don't renew before it expires, it means you may have to return to naija before it expires in May to avoid issues.

Hello House,

I am due in January and planning to go have my baby in Houston (WHMC).

Found an accommodation along Richmond avenue Westchase area( very close to the hospital) about 2mins.

The accommodation is for 6 months reduced rate as against the 3 months rate (which am interested in).

1. Please anyone going to Houston for delivery in February and looking for accommodation? Pls inbox me. We can meet in lagos mainland or island.

2. Or anyone already in Houston Richmond area with accommodation looking for someone to take up existing rent from November/December should please get in touch.

3. Any Info/assistance on how I can get a very affordable private accommodation around that area in November/December will also be most appreciated.

Seriously looking for someone to split apartment rent with to save cost.
