Warsaw saw war, and war saw Warsaw |
LottiOk:Do you know what it actually takes to pull off secession? Not just agitation—real state-building, international recognition, economic survival. Look at South Sudan. Independence came in 2011, and the country is still struggling with internal conflict. Look at Somaliland— declared a state since 1991 and still not fully recognized globally. Singapore only worked because Lee Kuan Yew spent decades building institutions with strict discipline and some form of authoritarianism- after its 1965 separation from Malaysia. Even today, Catalonia is still pushing to leave Spain, and it’s been a long, complicated process with no resolution. So let’s be realistic. This “Biafra tomorrow” conversation is not grounded in how the world actually works. Every group in Nigeria has a cultural identity to fall back on, but breaking a country is not the same as building one. There are no saints anywhere—not even within the same family. At some point, coexistence stops being idealistic talk and becomes the only practical path forward for us as a nation. |
Brooooo, there's no job for you in NDC Until 2027, after inauguration. Buh keep pushing sha, your selfish and unreliable voluntary efforts may be appreciated...afterwards. |
Abia state is working. What are the other governors doing with their own allocation? |
Let’s not confuse empathy with misdirection. Children are in captivity—that’s a national tragedy. But turning this into a moral test of who watches football or celebrates anything doesn’t move us closer to a solution. It only redirects attention. What actually happens next is the real problem: citizens start arguing among themselves—who is insensitive, who is not—while the people with the responsibility to act face less pressure. We’ve seen major celebrations happen alongside crises before— the recent Sallah and Children’s Day celebration wasn't the first. Society didn’t shut down. The expectation has always been that leadership responds, not that citizens police each other. The uncomfortable truth is this: it’s easier to fight each other than to hold power accountable. And that’s exactly how accountability gets diluted. If concern is genuine, it should be consistent—and directed toward outcomes, not optics. When citizens turn on each other over distractions, the only people who benefit are those who should be answering the real questions Every minute spent arguing over who is celebrating is a minute taken away from demanding answers from those responsible. |
TheStoriesOfMan:We did an outsourced comprehensive vehicle insurance outside of the normal MoT licensing requirements. When our company bus was burnt during protest, they claimed there's a separate cover for accidental damages and Riot related damages. Those guys are thieves. What's comprehensive in the cover, if it doesn't cover riot damages?! Why didn't the company disclose it to us initially, and they spent months trying to get us to buy their policy, yet they left this out in all their visits. |
They don't pay out for losses, that's why they are growing every quarter. When you file for Claim, they must find one loophole that will cause a default. Even lawyers advice not to do extra insurance on some assets, except you have money to pursue case. Insurance is not working in Nigeria. |
Being mobbed is not a bad thing. |

Simple answer... No. Let's not yoke ourselves in laws and doctrines |
When is the Ileya ooooooo. |
Truths9ja:Goodluck Jonathan.... How? Are we sleeping in this country? Are we suffering from mass amnesia or something? Are we moving forward or backwards? |
They have seen the incoming chaos. Rubber stamp Senate. |
Wike has ruthlessly dealt with Fubara's disloyalty. This new law might stabilize our politics, but it will lead to party godfatherism. —what will a sitting governor who lost return ticket do with the remaining time in office- with full executive authority? You've made him ticketless and by the new electoral law, transfer window is closed. Fubara will loot River state silly - as his last act of power, to secure his personal future. |
malakaimoscondo:EndSars was organic. Labour Party was organic. Sometimes, the people dare to make a change. Maybe this time, instead of always waiting for the youths, our parents will come out to face their age mates, and demand a better country once and for all. They have nothing to lose. That would count as the supreme sacrifice for your children. Nigeria will be OK ✌️ |
MESSAGE TO NIGERIAN MEN And these same Nigerian men that had big mouths to talk about South African men being useless. What one thing I know is that us as South Africans we would have been out on the streets by now if this was happening in our country. We would have been out in the streets if this was happening in our country, ————————— When the whites were reaping their lives for hundreds of years till now, apartheid in your own country...took Nigeria and the rest of the world interests to come save you from yourselves in your own land. 1997, wasn't that long ago SA got liberated. That said, these problems are beyond going to the streets. Real solution will come, when the people are mentally ready. |
Either way it goes, He stands a better chance at Presidency in 2031 by making the VP move now. Win or lose, Kwankwaso may become the president by 2031. Peter Obi can be a gentleman, or the north gets their turn and his 2027 momentum will carry him to 2031. Or betterstill, Obi wins and establishes 6yrs one term tenure......we will support it, the same way we want to support State Policing. MyExpression: |
There’s a lot of noise lately around cheating—who can do it, who shouldn’t, who’s justified. Personally, I’m not in that argument. Book of Proverbs 6:26–27 already breaks it down in a simple way: you can’t carry fire and expect not to get burned. Adultery isn’t just a “two people” situation. It touches trust, families, emotions, and reputations. Once that line is crossed, reactions and consequences follow—sometimes quietly, sometimes loudly—but they come. So for me, it’s not about whether a man can cheat or a woman can cheat. It’s about understanding that some actions come with outcomes you don’t control. |
EmmyMaestro:Oga, there's no Hebrew 14:14 in the bible. |
Once you see Reference code, run! |
Jakumo:You see this mentality....continue being a victim. The Police exist To Protect and to Serve. ...not to kill |
Current FA cup Winners so far... Arsenal — Fly Emirates.

Hmmmmm. That state has so many industries and they get away with industrial waste pollution, with minimal environmental regulation enforcement |
Tata products are very durable, but Indian parts no dey Nigeria. If the car develops issues, you can only fix it at their workshop at Amuwo-odofin road, Lagos. Why will a car be this cheap in 2026 Nigeria?! |
Anyone who isn't Hausa or clearly a Yoruba, is tagged as Igbo. The north did it during Miyetti Allah expulsion threat of 2018, the Lagos Agberos did it during 2023 election... The NDC National Leader is from Ijaw, has the SS support; moreover, the southeast and South South shares common history..... They'll all be grouped as Igbos, the same way we erroneously group all the northerners as Hausas. No threat, no harm. It's the Nigerian ethnic classification. There's no infiltration, we are all here together. |
Globad:What did he say that's criminal? The man's actions are by political implication, OFFERING Tinubu a way to NDC, hoping to CASH OUT, with financial or political or economic benefits. What's the goal of politics, isn't it all about INTEREST? What's interest? Benefit from the government, for you, your people and your cause. Una go dey calm down for this Seun site o. A simple deductive opinion is not libel. If you gag the press, how can you hold your government accountable?! |
