LagosNIV:We are legitimately engaged, both of our parents and families approve. This is our second fiance petition because the first was denied last interview. So no repeated withdrawals. No financial, physical, emotional threats or maliciousness. We were just dumb enough to try to start an online business together and there is a reason that most couples do not work or go into business together. We learned why the hard way. Caused many many many arguments about what to do for this issue, what to do for that issue, etc. Why isn't this being done, why isn't that being done, how much is this change costing, how much is that change costing. Did you meet with this person, give me more descriptive details about x,y,z. Then toss in someones opinion from Facebook as a last straw. Me making a hasty and stupid mistake and crying profusely to USCIS on the phone and now scared to death. We are in a real relationship that has has many real relationship issues. I am fire, he is water who are crazy in love. |
LagosNIV:Approval of a fiance visa seems futile at this point. I am guessing that a spousal would be futile as well then cause it is the same derogatory info on file? |
I am getting nervous since our petition is approved and I had emailed an inflamed email to USCIS and later requested them to ignore my emailed withdrawal request. I am sure they have placed that in the file that is on its way to Lagos. I have written another, current letter of intent to marry and am requesting my family submit more affidavits of support. But I am scared that won't be enough to overcome my email to USCIS. Should we just withdraw and start a third petition with a clean slate? I don't think I can handle a second denial. The first was very hurtful and this second petition was very stressful only to possibly be denied again. Plus I am well over $10k in on everything and another denial is killing. |
My k1 is finally approved. However my fiance has an issue. His passport no longer has six months validity on it. Should we have the interview with the current passport number(expires in Oct of this year) that was listed on his bio metrics page, THEN get it renewed or have it renewed first before the interview? I am unsure whether the Nigerian passport number remains the same from the old passport to a renewal passport. |
But gum never goes bad if it is quality gum. If it crumbles, just chew it and it comes back together |
YourFatherYansh:The Ghanian cedi is very strong. It is about 4 credit to 1 USD. A Coca-Cola there is 2 for 1 USD. In USA , a Coca-Cola is $1.50. Ghana is a great place to be right now |
LagosNIV:Yes it is more. Built up silence on other issues that erupts when you are doing everything in your power over a two year period and your fiance mentions another's opinion who is doing zero zilch Nada. People consider divorce and they get counseling and work things out. People consider breakups and they work towards better communication and work things out. No difference just we are being evaluated and have to seem issueless, unfortunately.... |
I have a K1 that is in process at USCIS. My fiance and I have a very very bad fight (over something someone said via Facebook, go figure) in which I wrote an enflamed email to USCIS to withdraw my petition. Long story short, my petition is on security hold anyway and the withdrawal wasn't processed cause it wasn't in writing. I called the service center and was told by a tier two to send another email that I won't be withdrawing. So if all that utter confusion and self imposed foolishness works out and yeilds an approved petition, will those emails place doubt on the bona fide of the relationship at the DOS interview stage or will it just be viewed as a lovers fight? Also this is our second K1./the first was denied. This is very stressful for us. |
fart:This is not true. The apostle Paul use to turn away and kill followers yet he was saved. Read the Word. |
tbliss22:Here is is better to get a job with the undergraduate degree and let your company pay for your masters. No one wants to hire an inexperienced, expensive degreed person who they have to train with a master's just the same way they have to train the bachelor's. |
Never heard of her as a model. She didn't make it over here apparently. And to get upset because she felt that others stole her idea of helping women escape sex slavery and just dropping it is very childish and immature and shows how she is on the inside. If it was really about freeing people, she would have done that regardless of who hyjacked her idea or not. So sad a rotten, smelly soul. |
[ Serious email inquiries only.[/quote] |
legalbizonline:Yes very possible. Just build two story house. |
Where can I buy a SMS mailing list for direct advertising/marketing for specific places, economics in Nigeria? |
Serious email inquiries only. |
If you are serious, message me back. I have a hybrid that needs capital and boots on the ground. |
Celebrities hide their children all the time so the can grow up normal. Remember the first child hider: Michael Jackson. That is so normal. Celebrities who keep posting pics of their kids all the time are asking for trouble |
martyns303:Trust me, if he wanted to marry thus woman he would be taking the steps to do so. They are both playing each other. |
I think the biggest reason is that the professor's go on strike. I had never on my life heard of a university going on strike for months at a time. |
Deference to "Big men", unbridled arrogance and pride. Otherwise I love love love Nigerian men |
Um but it was Nigerian money to begin with..... How can Nigeria let another country dictate the conditions of its own money expenditures? Wow. If Nigerians accept that, complete international respect lost |
I like my fiance's belle |
Growing up as kids, my family NEVER paid us for grades or accomplishments. Yet we are all highly successful at early ages. I think that rewarding for things that are expected is counter productive. All the time there will not be anyone to Pat younon the head and say good job. Who will a 7 year old call on a cell phone? I didn't get my first cellphone until I was 19 back in 2000. |
7 is too little for a cell phone |
chiquitamyall:It is called growth, self reflection, and wisdom. God didn't promise us happiness in the world. He didn't promise that everything would always be easy and he didn't promise us a life without strife either. We make a decision to love another each day. Can we see someone with their faults and still love him or her. Now I am not saying love someone who will beat you to death by any means, but a person who makes silly mistakes, and isn't where we are mentally yet or where we are financially, or where we are emotionally, are we able to pour into that person to help them grow, to help cultivate that person to bring out the best in him/her........ or are we out for our own selfish gain and characterize people as useless. If it is the latter, a person can count themselves to have no transcended being a mere animal in survival mode. |
chiquitamyall:What you failed to ask is the type and magnitude of lie. Lies are bad, I get that. However lies are of two types malicious such as lying about cheating, and non malicious such as I wasn't at the bar. get my drift. |
Mindfulness:I am happy for you that you are able to live your life with a simple range of human emotion. We will agree to disagree. |
Mindfulness:Love hurts all the time. When you love someone, you even hurt just when you see them hurt. You hurt when you see your kids doing craziness. It hurts when you discipline your kids. It hurts when you argue with a loved one. To always expect happiness is unrealistic. Hurting is how we know that we are alive otherwise we are merely high on whatever life even, high on whatever drug, high on whatever temporary, fleeting feeling that satiates our feelings. Love hurts, growing hurts, being strong hurts. Losing hurts, winning hurts. Does the hurt go to abuse? No. Does the hurt last continually? No. |
Plan a doctors appointment the same day of your interview. Everybody doesn't need to know everything. With the way companies are sacking people, you may come up on the list if your employer thinks you are looking. |
Did she want to marry? Doesn't sound like it at all. |
LagosNIV:Less than one year, greater than six months. We have been very unsuccessful trying. Even with reciprocity, the applicant has to have it? If that is the case, then there is no point attending the interview. If it isn't available at the time of the interview, would the applicant be placed on AP to continue to try to get it? |
Yes, I love my fiance unconditionally. SOmetimes he lies to me a lot and sometimes makes the dumbest decisions but in my heart, I cannot hate him. He has unrealistic expectations of love in that he assumes that I am to give him money whenever he asks without question and hesitation. We argue but at the end of the day, I continue to pray for God to give him love in his heart and wisdom and understanding in things. It really hurts to truly love someone and to wonder if they can ever really love you back the way that you love them. |
