NASAhas announced this morning that they have discovered a planet completely covered with marijuana, a discovery that has completely taken scientists by surprise. Planet X637Z-43, discovered using NASA’s Kepler satellite, would also allegedly be one of the very few planets potentially habitable according to NASA experts, who have detected sufficient levels of oxygen and nitrogen to support human life. The presence of marijuana on other planets could strongly encourage future generations to take interest in space exploration, some experts believe. Scoophas more:
“We always think young people aren’t interested by anything but it’s false. Young people love smoking pot,” explains David Charbonneau, astronomer at the Harvard- Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics. “Chlorophyll concentration analyses generated by Kepler lead us to believe that the level of THC in these marijuana plants is 3000% higher than the plants found on Earth. If that doesn’t motivate young people to explore space, I don’t know what will,” admits the expert, clearly enthusiastic.
“Regardless, marijuana will without a doubt be a valuable and indispensable resource for interstellar trips. Imagine if it takes 140 years to travel from one planet to another, let’s just say it’s going to be a very long trip. You better have rolled yourself a couple of joints for the road,” he admits with humor.
Since the discovery, NASA has launched a campaign on social medias to name the new planet and so far, the name Bob Marley has taken the lead with over 2 094 367 votes at the time of this report.

A Nairalander Mbaebie Nkechi Chiugo yesterday became the first ever international student to be named the commencement speaker/valedictorian at Tulane university school of Public Health, New Orleans, USA which is one of America's oldest and best school of Public Health.
This school is a predominantly white school with the population being about 95 % Caucasian. Nkechi graduated yesterday with a Masters's in Public Health with a perfect GPA of 4.0. She studied Medicine and Surgery at ESUT College of Medicine, Enugu and was sworn in in 2011. She left Nigeria in 2013 for this Masters program and yesterday made history and wanted to share her story with the rest of us to inspire us to reach for greatness and cover more grounds. Nkechi pictured above with her family, friends and classmates. Big congrats to her.

My name is Emmanuel Emeka, A prisoner in Ankaful maximum security prison, Cape Coast, Ghana. I’m serving a jail-term of 130yrs imprisonment and I’m presently in my 8th year. We appeal to the Nigerian government to please come to our aid. The condition here has been so unbearable for (we) Nigerian prisoners in Ghana. We need to reconnect with our families. The Ghanaian police are fond of arresting innocent Nigerians, giving them high sentence of 50yrs 70yrs 100yrs 150yrs to 200yrs. Most of us have spent 8yrs 10yrs 15yrs 17yrs 20yrs inside prison and some have died inside the prison without completing their jail-term. Our families are in the dark, they really don’t know what we are facing. We’ve spent a lot of money trying to appeal in court, but all is to no avail.
Within my 8years in prison, I have witnessed over 100 deaths of Nigerian citizen in the Ghana prison and most of their families are not even aware. They still keep the hope of their return without knowing they are dead and buried with no rites. We appeal to the government of Nigeria to please act on our behalf so we won’t continue to perish in this peril. There are many Nigerians in all the 46 prisons in Ghana that need help from the Nigerian government. Also the media, kindly keep spreading the message until it finally grips the attention of the able government.
To fellow citizens of Nigeria, our brothers, sisters, fathers and mothers, please continue to pray for us and do what you can to return us back home. Another sad part is that most of us are on sick bed, no drugs for us. This is the unseen hardship Nigerian citizens in all the prisons in Ghana are facing and myself inclusive. I’ve been sick for the past 2 months and they have not taken me to the hospital or give me any drug. They treat us like animals, they give us dry garri everyday, no access to communication. I know how I suffered to get this phone to send this message to you. Please, on this message, lies the survival of about 800 to 1000 Nigerian prisoners in the 46 prisons in Ghana who are in this type of high sentence. Help us spread the message to all the four corners of Nigeria to make campaign for our freedom because that is the only hope left for us.

Yesterday,i was at my friend's(Edward) place when he was notified that he has win #83,000 naira through the lotto(baba ijebu) he played,i was very happy for him,started jubilating and hailing him,calling him baba olowo,but i was surprised and shocked when he told me he will not be claiming the money

I asked him why he played it in the first place cos he is a devoted christian and he is also an interpreter in his church,he then narrated how he was lured into playing the game by one of his friend he went to go and meet at the lotto shop

He said playing the game in the first place is a sin,and that claiming the money is an additional sin and could lead him into trouble

Since yesterday,i had been thinking about the issue and i don't know what to do

Should i convince and persuade him to claim the money?,or should i just let it go?
