Our girls classify those accents as sexy and appealing but when it comes to our own nigerian accent in speaking english,,it has become a problem.

No wonder someone will go to London for two weeks and come back with an accent better than the queen herself. And some will go to Ghana,,that is in our backyard here and come back with great British or American accent.

If you've interacted with the various tribes in our dear country, you'd notice the slight presence of their respective accents in spoken words. Granted there are those who take it a notch higher. Buh u gotta deal with it. U too go even get 'accent' too

Ok let me share this experience.

There was this man that always frequented the place I worked part-time.
I knew he was married and he shamefully didn't hide that fact.
He was always fund of trailing me from work, asking to drop me off and stuff.

The pestering was too much that I had to succumb to his plea and I shared my mobile contact with him.
That was the biggest mistake I made.
This guys couldn't stop calling me, I was so tired of answering his calls and listening to his thick igbotic accent.
He sent me recharge cards, gifts(most of which I rejected) all in the bid to make me his mistress.

There was this day he tried to put his hands on my mid-rift when he offered to drop me off at a friends place. It was an annoying moment really.
I barked at him ferociously, and he immediately removed his hands like he had just touched a _naked wire.

It got to the point that I told him off, warned him to stop pestering me and stopped picking his calls
I even told him I would report to his wife if he didn't put a halt to the unnecessary disturbance.

I think my threat kind of got to him and he backed off a bit.
He reduced his incessant calls and trailing.

I no longer work where he frequented, so I hardly see him.
He still calls me though but not often. I had initially decided not to pick any of his calls, but just gave it another thought.
I would say we are just friends now.

Anything wrong with having igbotic accent, or do you rather he had a foreign accent?

Pls house I need an avise on this. Can anyone recommend a simple car racing game for ipad. A game one can also play in offline mode.
I'm looking at NFS, Asphalt 8, Real Racing etc..jus anyone that's easy to handle.

I'm quite sure I've read somewhere on NL where ladies complain of being irritated by frequent calls from guys - especially to find out how their day went. My brother,there's no hard and fast rule to wooing our complicated complex counterparts. Your other points are valid tho.
