Investment / Re: I-invest Savings App Enquiries by MyMail2D: 1:17am On Nov 15, 2019
Hi,
I have installed and registered on the App about 2 weeks ago.
I did a transfer into the Apps which was deducted by my Bank, but it did not reflect on my wallet.
I have been following up with them to get the refund done, but still waiting.

Their management of issues needs to improve.
Investment / Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by MyMail2D: 2:17pm On Nov 05, 2019
Many thanks for this...

Can anybody confirm if the rates on I-invest App is at OFFER or TRUE YIELD ??

unite4real:

Let me give a bricklayer answer to this.

1. N1,000,000 invested in Tbills for 364 days @ 12% discounted
2. 12% of 1,000,000 is N120,000
3. Amount debited from account is (N1,000,000 - N120,000) = N880,000
4. Remember that your N1,000,000 was not debited as is the case with Fixed Deposit
5. Your true yield is (120/880,000)*100% = 13.63%

Hello,

How fast/easy is it to buy and importantly sell on the I-invest app?
Can I transfer from any bank into it and from it into any other bank??

freeman67:

COT charges applies to current accounts alone and the charge is now N1 for every N1,000 transferred or withdrawn.. Transfer charge normally should be N52.5 if the amount involved is not heavy. However instead of moving the money from bank to bank you may wish to make you findings/enquiries first and check what it's best for before doing the transfer after all.. All banks these days do instant transfer.

Many thanks.
Well noted.

Investment / Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by MyMail2D: 10:55pm On Mar 31, 2017
Hi House,

Am interested in FGN Bonds as I see that TB can go lower this year more quickly then we think.
Currently some people have "stored" their naira in USD, hoping it will reach N600/$, thus they are stuck with USD which is "losing" value.
It means less Naira to more around as people are not changing USD to Naira, rather they are changing Naira to USD due to the current low rate.
[Buy cheap , then sell high, when they think can still happen later this year].

Pls assist with :

1. How do I buy Bonds?
2. Can I specify my rates?
3. Which tenure is better 5 , 10 or 20 yrs
4 Where will my Coupons be paid? Can I change my Bank midway?
5. What dates are they sold and what advance notice do I need to give to my bank to buy for me?

Many thanks.

Hi,

I also just debited.
Pls assist to confirm if this is correct.
I requested that my Bank invest Bleep for 364days and they said they will go with their bank bid rate.
They debited me xx,000 this evening, then credited me xx,506, then debitted me some Bank changes of xx.

What rate did they bid for me?
I thought they will debit me only the discounted value of xx,494, and pay me the interest upfront of xx,506 and I will collect 1,000,000 in 364 days.

Pls assist to analysis what happend?
