CelebritiesKCEE Will Not Be The Victim by myplaydiary(op): 2:17pm On Mar 20, 2017
KCEE have been producing hits since he won the star quest with his partner Presh after the undisputed win they went on to form a group producing several hits proving that their victory at the quest was indeed a merited, deserved and undisputed one. Barely years into their musical career as a team, the duo split and went on to take shots at the music industry individually and since then Kcee stole the show and never failed to prove his worth, even when gossips had it that Presh was the brain behind the success of the duo KCEE never failed to rise to the zenith of his career and remained seated at the top spot.

The truth is KCEE is talented and nothing can change that, his style is universal and has no limitations, another truth is that KCEE has a sound, his songs have melody you can't help but feel the melody, simply put, he has understood the Nigerian audience and gives them what they want. I won't be comparing Kcee to Davido, Wizkid, Techno or Mr Eazi but one can't help but agree that like these guys KC gives the Nigeria audience a sound that leaves them nodding their heads or singing along to his lines and those who can dance be doing the waist thing on the dance floor or in their homes.

Listening to his new track Romantic call you can't just help but realize that KC is just getting started and we should expect new fresh tunes from him. Something else you can't take away from KC is that he is a marketable brand regardless of whatever anyone thinks about his colors or color combinations you can't take away the fact that whatever he wears looks good on him like his brother E-money and he makes those color combo's a kill in a good way that leaves people talking and have him trending which is good for his music and brand.

Ladies also love him, he's cute, he can whine his waist, he's rich and most important he's E-money's elder brother who wouldn't want to be friends with E-money and his brother. We all know you can't rule the ladies out when it comes to entertainment, they can make or break any artist, they offer the highest number of fans and they are the ones who get the guys to go to all the shows, they buy CD's, they also be the ones sharing all the likes and giving all the F's on social media so if the ladies don't buy into your brand as an artist start and equal rights for women foundation or start sharing airtime to them on social media.

However, ladies don't count when it comes to street artist. Street artist be like; "who ladies epp for street". cheesy "Lady wey no be street shey that one na fan?" cheesy

KCEE, E-money and five star music have managed to be in the media for all the right reasons and they have remained scandal free, even with the recent Saga they handled it very maturely and before one could say Jack Robinson KCEE and five star music have started dropping hits back to back. I doff my hat and salute their maturity in the music industry. Big ups to KCEE and E-money (AKA) money bags. I can't end this write up without giving credit to E-money's beautiful wife who wrote that heartfelt and heart touching note in their time of trials, she is indeed wise, little wonder her husband keeps growing from strength to strength.

To be honest despite my earlier criticism of south west regressing in secondary education, SW still dominate strategy sectors like the ones u mentioned (IT, Law, Banking, E-commerce, Research and others ). Engineering is 50:50 across the nation. Still we need to wake up from our slumber bro. As for the cowbell mathematics competition and others, I noticed every year, SW often dominates the winning board but come to think of it too, the recent JET competitions are being won by the igbos.
continue self servicing when an Igbo chap just bagged the first ever to get a perfect GPA score of 7.00 in the university of Ibadan. **** grin

Where are all the 'bright'igbo students that have been dominating waec for the past 15yrs? I expect them to be dominant in all fields of endeavour in the country from medicine, law, engineering, banking etc. But they are nowhere to be found today, that is just a prove that the results were not achieved through merit but miracle centres. We all know the truth. Wake me up when igbos start dominating fields like IT, banking Law etc we all know the tribe that dominates those field in the country at present.
Are you running mad or something, so you don't see the ones in Nigeria, you expect to see them in Nigeria where merit does not stand out, when last did you read Newyork times or watch CNN do that more often you will see them all over the globe not Nigeria where you deprive them of merit status.

You can now go back to mining those skulls for Baba Ajanuku the great. grin

To be frank this is the best Afonja will ever produce, next year it will drop lower and the cycle continues, as they will keep dropping on all front, from education, industry, to Health Index to wealth Index to safety of the region the list is endless, till they beg the abokis to come and teach in their Muslim schools, can you imagine they even celebrate their artist who have been promoting broken English in both the movie and music industry in the person(s) of Funke and falz now tell me what you expect from their kids who watch these people and want to talk like them, do you really expect them to pass waec or any other exam at that.

you folk can make up stories. One of you said the US ARMY buys drones in Onitsha market. It is embarrassing some of the stuff you come up with. How can you claim Onitsha had earlier contact with Europeans? That is a stupid lie. What exactly was going on at Onitsha before this so called contact? How big was Onitsha and what was its population? You folk have no history of organisation beyond the clan level so do not try to paint a picture of an urban pre colonial Onitsha

ezeagu:
And they don't want to understand that it is that centralisation and rigid terms of unity and conformity of a highly diverse language group without consultation of all parties involved during the colonial period is what has caused all of this problems in the first place. Most of these Igbo groups see 'Igbo' as an (old) Anambra and Imo hegemony and that is because of the historic centralisation in Enugu, Onitsha, Owerri, Umuahia.
So now you are saying it's the white man that put Igboland in the same situation they put Nigeria, through Amalgamation of Igboland? Continue I see what you are doing it only sad because some Igbo's will fall for this your antics.

However I will like to know this groups that are not supposed to be categorized as Igbo's that were also supposedly grouped with the Igbo's. While you are at it tell me what makes them differ from the so called Igbo's of old imo and Anambra that you refer too.

The truth is that some quarters of Ikwerre don't have problem associating with the Igbo nation tag.... Isiokpo and Igirita areas are relaxed.... Hostility usually stems from Emohua, and Obio axis. Places, like Eneka, Iriebe, even as close as Oroigwe, in Eliowani, don't have any problem when it comes to Igbo matter. may be if the Igbo nation, our leadership, will unite on a common course that clearly defines boundaries and interests, this clot that is bedeviling unity among us will fizzle off.
I endorse your post very brilliant post.

Ngozi123:
I don't want to derail this thread any further so I'll keep this short: Onitsha people do not deny their Igbo heritage. At the time that quote was taken, many Onitsha/Ogbaru and other Igbos used the term "Igbo" to describe the neighbouring villages. The fact that they preferred to refer to themselves as Onitsha people rather than Igbo people is not surprising, considering that at the time that quote was taken, there was no 'united Igbo nation' so they would've mostly identified with their town/village. Tell an Onitsha/Ogbaru man he is not Igbo and see what will happen.
Ngozi thank you for that explanation, in as much as i don't want to discuss this on this thread I have to address it for those reading, because a lot of them might assume that fallacy to be true. It is true that Onitsha people in time past use to call neighboring communities ndi Ugbo which was later corrupted by the whites to Igbo and this was because like you rightly stated Igbo's were not under the singular umbrella of the word "Igbo" as every community was recognized by their various groups and clans from Ogbaru to Onitsha to Idemili, to Nsuka to Izza the list is endless, it was the coming other the Whites that put all under the umbrella Igbo because they were one people through religion, descendants, ancestry, customs, tradition, language etc.

The second second reason Onitsha natives referred to the other Igbo's as Ndi Ugbo, was because Onitsha had early contact with the white and their villages quickly developed to towns while the others where in the eastern hinterlands or heartlands and majority where farmers so each time the farmers came to Onitsha towns for trade of their farm produce the natives would refer to them as Ndi ugbo, meaning farmers which most eastern heartlanders were at the time nothing derogatory there.

About the Ancestry many Igbo have various ancestry and not all Igbos that migrated from Benin have Benin ancestry, also it should be noted that the fact the some migrated from Benin does not mean they were of Benin ancestry Igbo's were actively involved in Benin during its reign as Nri Kingdom was sometimes consulted for spiritual guidance, also many Igbo's settled and lived there. So don't be fooled by he ezeagu's antics I really used to like and take that guy seriously until this minute. Udo.
