I Traveled To Aba Last Weekend, And I Asked My Uncle To Take Me Round Aba Let Me See Things Myself. Honestly I Thought It Was All About Slumps And Hips Of Dirt Everywhere. But Was Surprised To See Brand New Roads And The Ones I was Told Were Built By The Present Administration 4 Years Ago And They Are Still Standing Solid. Check Out Few Pictures I Took...

The solid minerals of Gold, Diamond, Lead, Manganese, Uranium and others that are in the North are for North alone while the oil in the South are for the Federal government, that's what One Nigeria is all about. The North will mine these solid minerals and make their money while the Federal government look the other way in the direction of the oil. Who is to be blamed? Blame it on the Southerners who sabotaged their own to please the North because there was an element of envy that exist among themselves.

IGBO KWENU, KWENU, KWEZUONU!!! I am so hapoy with this people called the Igbos. I am so happy with the Igbo's Solomon's wisdom and wide industry. I am happy with their doggedness and pride. I am proud with their disobedience at many times. I am proud of their capacity and capability to unite, analyze and judge every situation on real time. I am proud that at their tendency to be disarranged and disorganized and disagree on what other tribes would have foolishly accepted and refused to die for. I am proud of the way the Igbos accepted the challenges, unequivocally. However, I have never been this proud before. The country, Nigeria lost this elections but the Igbos won the elections outright. We told you Mr. Buhari that we hate you to your face. We hate your person. We hate what you have done to our children, what you have done to pregnant women by ripping open their wombs and ordering the death of our Christian priests nd ministers. We denied you our votes and subjected you and your cabal to rigging in order to win. We hate your divide and rule policies. We hate your ethnic based misrule. That is the victory of our Feb 23rd 2019 votes. We defeated you, Fashola and Tinubu in your Lagos. We have confirmed to you that we are in Lagos, we are in Abuja, we are alive in PortHarcout and we are all over the entire Southern Nigeria. And for the rest of Nigeria, we pity you.. Igbos have done our part. We have rejected evil and his ministers. Our votes are our witness. The blood of all the young men killed in Portharcourt last Saturday bear witness to us. Our resistance in Lagos sing our triumph. Whatever will happen in Nigeria the next four years, counts us innocent because we rejected evil and those who desire evil will live with it. We have done our part and hoping that one day, only one day, the rest of Nigeria will remember the sacrifices of the Igbo nation for the freedom of Nigeria of which our ancestors were the founding fathers. Thanks you all Igbos who are still alive in Nigeria. You won the 2019 elections by shaming the devil. IGBO KWE-NU!!! https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=951200928590638&id=100011022198446

THE POSITIVE RESULTS OF GOVERNOR OKEZIE IKPEAZU'S INVESTMENT DRIVES. For a large part of his administration since he got sworn-in on May 29th, 2015, Abia State Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu has made it clear that a major plank of his mission on the saddle of leadership in Abia State is to open the State up to investments so that the State can attain its full industrialisation potentials. The Governor started off with an aggressive marketing of Made in Aba products which was positively received locally and internationally. To be sure, Aba has always been on the map of entrepreneurship and enterprise due to the innovative spirit of the inhabitants of the metropolitan enclave. It was however not until Governor Okezie Ikpeazu came on board that a definite strategy to properly place the position of Aba in the mind of the general public was conceptualized and vigorously pursued. Prior to his emergence as Governor, Aba was on the map no doubt but it had acquired a reputation as the centre of imitation and substandard products. The term Aba Made was a derisive appellation for all things fake irrespective of where they were made. The producers in Aba had no pride in their products and minimised their impact on the production table by giving their products foreign labels. This was the state of affairs until Governor Ikpeazu mounted the saddle of Governance. He rebranded items produced in Aba from the derisive Aba Made to Made in Aba and added a decisive touch by proclaiming them to be Proudly Made In Aba. He went a step further by putting his money where his mouth was. He declared that for as long as he was Governor, he would only dorn articles of clothing Made in Aba and advertise them as such. Thus, he caused his clothes to carry a label on their sleeves Proudly Made In Aba. His aides and associates followed suite and it gradually caught on. He took it a step further by taking the products to political and celebrity influencers and obtained their buy-in. He also exposed the Aba producers to the national and international market by showcasing their products at Fashion shows in Abuja, the United States of America, Europe and African countries. He topped it up by sending 30 Aba Shoemakers to China to learn automated processes of shoe production and purchased the machines they trained with in China. Prior to then, the Governor also took Shoemakers to Brazil and opened discussions with Brazilian Shoemakers to set up production in Abia State. Today, the Aba producers have acquired a new swag. They are now proud to label their products Made in Aba and this is because they have a prominent marketer of their products in Governor Okezie Ikpeazu. By proclaiming his clothings to be Proudly MadeInAba, he has given the Aba producers the needed confidence to assert ownership of their products. Aba producers have also become international figures as hardly any entrepreneurial event holds anywhere in the world without Aba producers being invited to showcase their products. All that effort has yielded positive fruits and more are yet to come. The Nigerian Army were the first to embrace the marketing drive as they ordered 50,000 pairs of military boots to be produced in Aba. That order brought 500 Million Naira into Aba. The Nigerian Navy, NYSC, Police, Customs, Immigration and Civil Defence Corps soon followed suit with orders in hundreds of millions of Naira. Not satisfied with the progress he had made with the Made in Aba Campaign, Governor Ikpeazu soon thereafter, launched the Make In Aba Campaign with the objective of having international brands set up factory in Aba to produce for local and international consumption. This led to his aggressive marketing of the Enyimba Economic City project and in his characteristic hands-on approach, he undertook several trips to China and other parts of the world to woo investors for the project and embarked on savvy shuttle diplomacy to relevant authorities in Abuja including

Over the years, our state had challenges with managing our payroll which led to delays and backlogs in payment of salaries and other emoluments. I am glad to announce to you that the worst days of salary payment issues are behind us. We have resolved to tackle the issues leading to salary delays head on and we will never look back. All the public sector employees, whose wages are paid by the state government in Abia State, received their December salaries prior to Christmas. I pledge our determination to keep up with the new spirit while assuring any remaining categories of employees, especially those working at state ur parastatals, who may have outstanding payments, for one reason or another that their issue is receiving prime attention and will be resolved shortly so they can smile with their counterparts in other Ministries, Departments and Agencies. We are determined to as much as possible help ailing parastatals to rejig their cash flow and be able to pay their workers as and when due. Beloved Abians, Let me use this occasion to sound a note of warning to heads of underachieving and underperforming parastatals that in 2019, it will not be business as usual. We cannot continue to commit huge resources to personnel costs without getting commensurate services from the personnel. Some parastatals are performing below capacity while cabals within others have frustrated every effort aimed at reforming the parastatals for efficient services. We will conduct a review and take a tougher stance against some of these individuals and groups in some of our parastatals. The parastatals mike and retain revenue for their operations, without remitting any money to the Abia State Government yet they are still collecting subventions and owing staff salaries while their less buoyant counterparts in the private sector are thriving and turning in profits. I charge all Heads of Parastatals in Abia State to do an honest internal assessment to give the people of Abia State value for the monies we are spending on them. I am proud that our policies in the educational sector have continued to pay off. Again, in 2018, for the 4th year running, we retained the 1st Position in the May/June WAEC Examinations. I am also happy to announce to you that our Public Primary School enrolment figures have jumped from 115,000 when we came into office to over 600,000 pupils as at September 2018. This is a remarkable 420% increase in school enrolment and the reason is not far-fetched. Abia State is arguably the only State in Nigeria that feeds pupils from Primary 1-6 ameal a day in our unique school feeding programme. The Federal Government feeds pupils from Primary 1-3 but Abia State goes the whole hog from Primary 1-6. In addition, we are training and retraining our teachers both locally and internationally to get the best from them while massively renovating our school buildings to ensure conducive learning environment for our pupils and students. These and many other factors have contributed to the stellar performance we have recorded in our educational sector and we are poised to do more in 2019. I wish to use this opportunity to commend all those who have worked tirelessly to help us drive our vision to the point where it is today and urge them not to rest on their oars but rededicate themselves in this New Year to even greater service. Abia is our own. Together, let us build the State of our dreams by doing more for our people. The potentials are there. The will is there. With your continuous support, we will do even greater things in 2019. My dear people of Abia State, I welcome you to 2019. I welcome you to a good year. This is the year that the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it. I thank you for listening and on behalf of my family, I say Happy New Year. |
My Dear Abians, permit me at this juncture to inform you that the Enyimba Economic City which we have been promoting has been fully licensed by the Federal Government and all relevant Agencies and the project is set to commence. It is the first Export Free Zone licensed by the Federal Government in the South East of Nigeria. This project, for which we already have anchor investors signed on, has the potential of creating hundreds of thousands of direct and indirect jobs within the next 10 years. It will revolutionalise the economy of Abia State and launch us into the league of manufacturing and production centres. I therefore wish to on behalf of the Government and people of Abia State, convey special commendation to the promoter of the project, Mr. C. Darl Uzu for his doggedness and faith in Abia State which has made this project a reality. I also wish to call upon other Abians wherever they are to come and join hands with Government to develop our dear state. The level of massive support we have given to Darl Uzu to enable him realize the Enyimba Economic City Project is proof that as a Government and as a people, we are committed to fully supporting all those who invest in Abia State. The core investors in the Golden Guinea Breweries Plc Umuahia are also enjoying the same commitment and support from us to ensure the revitalization of the iconic brewery. I have worked with the core investors to break bureaucratic and funding barriers and I am happy to report to you that Golden Guinea Breweries is on the cusp of a full return. This is the underlying essence of the mission of our administration. We have provided and will continue to provide massive infrastructure and social services and the results are there for all to see but more importantly, we have laid the foundation of a truly prosperous Abia State by supporting investments and promoting the handwork of our people. Ndi Abia Ndi Nwem, a couple of days ago, I presented the 2019 Budget to the Abia State House of Assembly titled the Budget of Consolidation. We have formulated plans to consolidate on the work we have done within our first four years in office while getting ready for another four years by the grace of God and the endorsement of the people of Abia State. I will use this opportunity to reassure you that we are resolutely committed to Odinma Ndi Abia. For every action we take in this administration, every policy and every programme, the underlying objective is Odinma Ndi Abia. We promised at the beginning to make Abia State the premier business destination in Nigeria and West Africa and we are on course to fulfill that promise. The overall outlook for 2019 is positive. With the advent of the dry season, our contractors have returned to our roads and construction work has resumed. We have opened up Faulks Road from one end to the other, a feat that has not been witnessed on that socio-economically important road for over 10 years. We have also completed Old Express Road and we will face other roads with renewed zeal and vigour as we believe that good road networks will enable better performance of all our five pillars of development. We remain committed to our 5 Pillars of Development. From Education to Agriculture, SME development, Trade and Commerce, Oil and Gas to the various Enablers like security, ease of doing business, infrastructural development, advocacy and social mobilization, we will continue to offer integrated services to the people of Abia State. Over the years, our state had challenges with managing our payroll which led to delays and backlogs in payment of salaries and other emoluments. I am glad to announce to you that the worst days of salary payment issues are behind us. We have resolved to tackle the issues leading to salary delays head on and we will never look back. Governor Ikpeazu’s New Year Address BEING A STATE BROADCAST DELIVERED BY ABIA STATE GOVERNOR, DR. OKEZIE IKPEAZU TO USHER IN NEW YEAR 2019 My Good People of Abia State. It is with great pleasure and gratitude to God that I welcome you to the year 2019. I do believe that you have had a wonderful time celebrating the festivities with your families, friends and loved ones. This was also a Traditional Retirement Season in some parts of Abia State and lots of people were in Abia State to celebrate with their retiring kith and kin. While congratulating all those who have retired, I pay special tribute to our Age Grade System and commend all those who have kept it going over the years for their selfless sacrifice in community development. The year 2019 will be an important year for Abia State. It is an election year and the year we go to the polls to cast our votes for our preferred candidates. I urge you all very importantly to pray for peaceful elections in Abia State. I also urge you all to be vigilant so as to ensure that 5th columnists and enemies of peace do not instigate crisis in our state. Abia is a peaceful State and irrespective of our political differences, we must maintain that heritage of peaceful coexistence. I therefore use this opportunity to call on all candidates vying for one elective position or the other to ensure that they adhere to the tenets of clean electioneering campaigns devoid of activities that may disturb the peace of the state or stoke embers of crisis. As a people and as a State, we must reject fear-mongering, hate speech, divisiveness and provocation. I am committed to working with security agencies to ensure peace and safety during the elections. As a candidate in the elections, I promise to keep my own campaign clean. In the just ended year 2018, we witnessed more positive manifestation and germination of some of the seeds we had sown in the early periods of our administration. In my series of communications to you over the last 4 years, I have emphasized the fact that we are building to last in Abia State. We are not ad-hoc planners. Most of the interventions, projects and policies of this administration from inception were intended to yield long-lasting and sustainable impacts. That is why I have remained one of the most communicative Governors in Nigeria today. Because it is important to me that the people we are working for understand what we are doing. Today, every Abian is now proud to hold their heads high. Our Shoemakers are global citizens and not just local producers. Hardly any Trade Fair or Exhibition holds anywhere in the world without Aba Producers being invited to come and exhibit their products. This is the result of the massive promotional campaign we undertook from the inception of our administration to showcase the ingenuity of the Aba producer and today, the world has taken note and Aba and Abia State is the better for it. In the last 3 years, I had travelled to China on 5 different occasions to seek new opportunities for our people. Our story is somewhat similar to that of the Chinese and I was seeking partnerships that will benefit our people. The result of my trips to China are now evident. Last year, we sent 30 Shoemakers to China to learn how to use modern machines to make shoes. They have all returned and today, we have imported those same machines they used in China. We are now on the verge of opening the 1st fully automated shoe producing factory in Aba and this factory will take the status of Aba as the premier shoemaking destination in West Africa to new heights. Similarly, the Ruyi Group, one of the largest industrial conglomerates in the world, has signed agreements to invest billions of dollars in the Enyimba Economic City. My Dear Abians, permit me at this juncture to inform you that the Enyimba Economic City which we have been promoting has been fully licensed by the Federal Government and all relevant Agencies and the project is set to commhttps://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=2011396215596071&id=100001771363217

Citizen Nnamdi Kanu was publicly Molested, Insulted at a court of Law by DSS , but Nigeria Lawmakers kept mute and concentrated on their Allowances. Nnamdi Kanu was kept incommunicado in DSS dungeon for Weeks, the Lawmakers disdained such lawless act and never allowed the violation of his human right to be mentioned or tackled at the National Assembly. He exposed the true terrorist identity of Muhammadu Buhari, but was charged for Treasonable Felony and accused of Hate Speech. His residence was invaded and IPOB activists killed by Nigeria Security men, but it was ignored and National Assembly endorsed the Terrorist tag through their silence. The World is watching how, the realities of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's prophecies is coming to fruition and Nigeria Democracy sinking into the abyss. We don't want to be part of this Carcass and Lawless entity called Nigeria. We fight for our Nation and our Generation Must Restore Biafra.

When Buhari came to Abakaliki he expected Obi of Onitsha to leave his place and come to Airport to welcome him, Obi of Onitsha said it is an abomination, he did not do that. But when Buhari visited Kano he, Buhari, went straight to Emir of Kano’s place to pay homage to the Emir. Now look at the entire Oba of people gathered at the airport just to welcome Buhari. Why do we have these types of people as our traditional rulers? I am yet to understand what might have caused this.

When Will Igbo Leaders Rise Against The Extortion of Commercial Motorists In Igboland By Security Agencies? 1. Every commercial driver in Igboland who plies intra or inter-city routes is sure to encounter a police-army or civil defence checkpoint at least once for every 5 kilometres covered. 2. At each of these checkpoints, the average driver is expected to drop at least N50 into the waiting hands of a security personnel. 3. Those who fail to perform this rituals are delayed and sometimes allegations of theft levelled against them. 4. This practice has been remained unchallenged for years. 5. I understand that security personnel often lobby to be posted to eastern Nigeria where these checkpoints have since metamorphosed to business centres where innocent, hardworking drivers are exploited by greedy police and military personnel. 6. During my last trip from Umuahia to Enugu, our driver happily gave away more than N1, 000 over a distance of less than 200 kilometres. 7. On this route, over 2, 000 different commercial drivers perform this ritual daily, handing away over 2 million naira each day including Sundays at various checkpoints. 8. Now these bribes are paid for no particular services. On these routes, armed robbery, kidnapping, rape and various forms of heinous crimes are still carried out- the scores of checkpoints along the routes serving as no deterrent to the criminals. 9. One would have thought that individuals and groups committed to protecting the rights and privileges of Ndi Igbo would have risen firmly to challenge this. 10. Why are we all keeping quiet in the face of this mindless extortions? 11. I have established that 2 million naira or more is “transmitted” daily by commercial drivers on the Umuahia to Enugu route alone. 12. The situation is not different on the Aba-Port Harcourt, Enugu-Nsukka, Aba-Ikot Ekpene, Arochukwu-Ohafia, Onitsha-Orumba, Awka-Enugu routes. 13. Extortion of commercial drivers by security agencies is not restricted to inter-city highways alone. 14. Keke drivers in Aba, Umuahia, Enugu, Onitsha, Awka and several other cities in Igboland are also offered no respite by these security operatives. 15. A keke rider in Umuahia once told me that he personally spends an average of N500 each business day to “settle” police. When I asked why, he told me he does not like troubles. 16. In Umuahia, you see these security operatives at Tower, Ishi gate, Uzuakoli Road, Umudike road and in several other parts of the town openly harassing these keke drivers into parting with various amounts of money each time they pass. 17. More disturbing, the policemen in these places have come to see these bribes as legitimate operational fees each keke rider or bus driver must pay on each passing. 18. I am pained specially to note passengers nudging the drivers to settle so that their time is not wasted. 19. Who did this to us? When did we all become cowards? If the women of Aba rose against British Imperialists with all their might in the 1920s, why are we too afraid to stand up to these security men who perpetuate impunity in our land? 20. Why is Ohaneze Ndigbo, Aka Ikenga and other socio-cultural groups in Igboland keeping quiet in the face of this blind extortion by security men? 21. Do they not see it as a threat to the economic and social wellbeing of the average Igbo man? 22. Why should we allow a keke rider who earns less than N5000 each business day to pay a cumulative bribe of N500 to security agents who are paid from the tax paid by the same keke driver? 23. Why have the elites abandoned the downtrodden in Igboland to be fleeced by the economic locusts who dress as policemen in our cities? 24. Why are the NGOs who fight for the economic welfare of our people not addressing these challenges? 25. Someone must rise against this new lingering exploitation of our land by operatives of the Nigerian security services. 26. These security agents are paid from the public treasury, the commercial

“HELL FIRE DOES NOT NOT EXIST”:- Pope Francis. “There is no hell where the souls of sinners suffer in eternity”, Pope Francis was quoted as saying in a Thursday interview with Italian daily La Repubblica. Francis said: “after death, the souls of people who repent are pardoned by God and join in his contemplation, “but those who do not repent, and therefore cannot be pardoned, disappear.” “Hell does not exist – what exists is the disappearance of sinful souls,” he added. The pope was interviewed by Eugenio Scalfari, a veteran Italian journalist and atheist who regularly muses about faith and religion, and enjoys access to the leader of the Catholic Church. In the past, the veracity of quotes he attributed to the pope has been called into question, especially after the 93-year-old Scalfari admitted to never using a tape recorder during interviews. However, the Vatican has never complained about Scalfari’s work, and Francis has continued giving interviews to him. THE MENACE OF MILITARY CHECK POINTS IN ABIA....MY EXPERIENCE! The military post scattered in every nook and cranny of Abia is becoming a huge nuisance. They are having a field day extorting money from commuters and transporters alike -appplying corporal punishment if they decline to pay..I encountered them lately at Obikabia junction while on a water borehole drilling assingnment. The vehicle I was travelling with contained only drilling accesorries yet they contravened it for want of settlement. A rough looking boy detailed to collect money from motorist pulled some pipes out of our vehicle and kept it at the military post. I alighted from the vehicle, went straight to the khaki boys. Their outlook very was unfriendly and they spoke with Fulani accent. Upon asking why such treatment should be meted out to us, they said they are doing their work and nobody can question them. Then I said that their activities can be checked by the chief security officer of the state or Governor Ikpeazu, they shouted -we are not answerable to any governor we take orders from Federal govrnment. Finally ,our materials were released with a stern warning to always pay at military points to avoid seizure of my wares. Now ,this is happening in this era with the loud hue and cry of democracy and the change mantra. I am hereby calling on the Chief of Army Staff Tukur Buratai to please have a closer look at the Activities of some of his men in Abia State.
