WILL ABIA SURVIVE THIS MAN? Out of the over N30bn he spent last year on running his office, he claimed N574.64m for international travels that returned ZERO VALUE to Abians. Recall that he spent N26bn last year on the entire Abia workforce while he spent over N30bn in running his office. He went to Hungary and Rwanda last year, and claimed N575m.... what a great saviour! This was more than the N300m he paid Abia Poly workers which was highly publicised. He has already embarked on a few of these futile visits in 2024, and is about to do more now. This ill-fated visit appears like smart way to claim more hundreds of millions of Naira of public funds for himself. This is a guy that has created NO SINGLE JOB and has completed no LANDMARK PROJECT since he came to power 16 months ago, when Abia has earned over N400bn. Pray for Abia.. By the time he is finished with Abia, ha ga-ekweta! University of Buckingham, England must be careful about who they invite to these prestigious institutions. They must review their track records. See pictures 2 &3 Evidence of Alex C. Otti's 2023 spend on international travels. You can as well follow the link below , it will take you straight to the state Government financial reports as released by Gov Alex Otti's Government and you'll see things yourself. The Otti administration has yet to show Abians where the 2.46 billion Naira ICT infrastructure is sited since it does not exist within the Abia geographical space Abians are still very confused about what the subhead CAPACITY BUILDING means, on which Governor Otti claimed to have spent 3 billion Naira. As of today, Governor Otti runs the most untransparent and expensive government in Nigeria where governor Otti expends 927 million Naira monthly on meals in his Nvosi home while the people are living in extreme poverty. In his usual deceitful style, he promised to be the first Governor that would pay the minimum wage once Organized Labour and FG reached an agreement. Still, several months after he has yet to honour that promise despite receiving 17b naira in July from the federation account as a monthly allocation, he is still undecided on whether or not to pay the 70k minimum wage. In contrast, Enugu, Ebonyi, and many other states have commenced implementation. Before you come in defense of Governor Otti, can you please show Abian's where these projects he claimed to have spent billions of Naira belonging to Abians are located? Indeed, the Otti administration came prepared to steal, loot, and to plunder. Aguoru is a public affairs analyst.

For 8 years, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti traversed the length and breadth of Abia state, preaching to Abians and promising accountability and transparency if given the number one job in the state. Armed with his private sector experience, though adjudged controversial, he painted a saintly picture of himself while accusing the then-PDP government of not being transparent enough and promising to be more accountable and open in transacting the state's fiscals. Like every politician on a campaign mission, he engaged and was believed just as some gullible, though highly educated Nigerians at home and in the diaspora believed former President Buhari when he promised to exchange "one Naira for one US Dollar" if elected, and went ahead to work against the Goodluck Jonathan government which has already positioned the country's economy on the path of holistic progression. While I must acknowledge some moderate achievements in road maintenance and refurbishment of existing infrastructure the Otti administration inherited from the previous administrations, it becomes very concerning the humongous cost attached to these projects and the lack of transparency with which the contracts are awarded and funds disbursed. Going by the invoices obtained, the costs with which the Otti administration awards contracts on road reconstruction raise questions about the state's expenses. For example, the Ohanku road reconstruction project allegedly being over-invoiced to the tune of 17 billion naira, with the original cost of the project being 3.5 billion naira. Today, it is globally acknowledged that Abia state has broken the GUINNESS WORLD RECORD for paying 5.6 billion naira per kilometer of road in a non-swampy terrain without bridges, representing the costliest road contract per kilometer the world over. The Otti government allegedly wrote off billions of naira on non-existent projects, as represented in the table above. If the content of the table above does not scare or make you uncomfortable with the Alex Otti administration, then you must have fed your conscience to the dogs in exchange for blind support. According to the financial report published on the Abia State Government website, the Otti administration claimed to have constructed and rehabilitated public schools with 11.94 billion Naira. However, the reality on the ground does not support such a claim as there are no records of any school being reconstructed or retrofitted, at least not to the knowledge of Abians. It is very obvious that the Governor came equipped with tools for selfish acquisition of wealth. How can one openly claim N12bn for capital projects in the education sector without building a classroom block to show for it? The government also claimed to have reconstructed and rehabilitated office buildings at the cost of 4.8 billion Naira, but Abians are yet to see where such projects were carried out. The financial records as published also read that the Otti government did infrastructure with 3 billion Naira. It is only Governor Otti who can explain what that means, as the governor has the habit of sacking any commissioner or aide who picks courage to raise issues or ask questions seeking explanations on some expenditure subheads attached to his/her ministry. They claimed to spend 7.8 billion Naira on Research and Development without specifics on institutions or even results, pointing to how corrupt this administration has been. Abia State Government claimed to have spent 1 billion Naira on erosion control but has been unable to point at the site where such monies were spent, which is very unusual for a government that conducts huge publicity for every little achievement. The claim of spending 2.14 billion Naira on the reconstruction of Law Courts in the state is another project that only exists on paper and is allegedly used to siphon public funds. The Otti administration has yet to show Abians where the 2.46 bi

Alex Otti of Abia and Peter Mbah of Enugu: Between Making Noise and Making News By Jude Ndukwe While Alex Otti with all his social media hype, propaganda, half-truths, and outright falsehood, could only commission three streets (University Road, Green Avenue and College Road) of a combined 3km in Aba, and the expansion of an already existing 3.5km 4-lane Ossah road to a 6-lane road in Umuahia with elaborate fanfare and live telecast on one of the nation's leading TV stations to mark his first anniversary in office, his counterpart in Enugu, PDP's Dr Peter Mbah, with little or no noise in the media commissioned a whopping 71 roads to mark his own first anniversary in office. Some of the roads Mbah commissioned are Broderick Street, Silver Smith Street, Asata Mine Road, Ogbete – Jamboree – Ajogwu Road, all at Coal Camp, as well as Emeka Ebila, Idaw River Secondary School Road, Umuchu Street, Omachiani Street, Iloh Franco Street, St. Charles Street, Umu Ohachie Street, and Ozoude Street, as well as Meniru Street, and Mount Street Bypass, all in Idaw River. Others are Bishop Anyogu Street, College Road, Edeozie Street, Kenyatta Street to Timber Road under Uwani Zone and St. Peter’s Road, Odudukoko Street, the Garki flyover as well as four flyover ramps at each of Garki and Amechi Awkunanaw flyover all in Gariki Zone among others. The difference between the two is that while one is making news, the other one is making noise, and even some otherwise intelligent people can't decipher between news and noise, and are faling for the noise from Otti.

ABIA POLITICAL TOXICITY; A CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST EVALUATES!!!! *Yesterday, an elderly friend of mine who is a clinical psychologist from Anambra state, mockingly asked me if Mr. Otti is having a "spiritual" governorship election with Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu by next week. *He mocks Abia for the continuous show of shame that has overtaken governance, further divided the people and pit Abians against one another. *He said the political campaign of calumny mounted on Dr. Ikpeazu by Mr. Otti ever since he won the Governorship in 2023, puts Otti as a psychological cocky personality; a disorder that holds back people from accepting defeat. *In the instance, the clinical psychologist said he suspects Mr. Otti is still held back and embittered by his 2015 and 2019 political double defeat by his predecessor, thus; in Otti's mind, he is still in a political competition with Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu to "RE-defeat" him in a psychological retaliation for the two defeats of 2015 and 2019. Dr. Ebube says, Mr. Otti is struggling to assure himself that he is better than Dr. Ikpeazu and was never defeated by him. *Dr. Ebube, the clinical psychologist says it is a psychological condition with people who are suffering from acute inferiority complex, they hold tight on the past and never gets over any competitive loss. Says the political toxicity in Abia State will be far from over any time soon without a delibrate medical intervention to divest the Governor's mind of any current imaginary competition still going on between himself and Dr. Ikpeazu, his predecessor. *Dr. Ebube concluded by saying that though he needs a consultation room evaluation to accurately confirm but insists that the prognosis derived from the physical actions and mannerisms of Mr. Otti against Dr. Ikpeazu his predecessor, can only give a pointer to the psychological condition of Mr. Alex Otti being fixated and locked-up in an imaginary everlasting political competition to "RE-DEFEAT", Dr. Ikpeazu due to the defeats of 2015 and 2019.

How Much More Lies Will Abians Expect... Just like every propaganda hits a dead end sooner than later Every lie has an expiry date It takes 10 or more lies to cover up one lie Recall that when the Alex Otti administration secretly borrowed N145 billion in October 2023 without the necessary approvals from the House of Assembly through a contractor finance facility with Access bank Plc Concerned Abians who are vast on financial matters raised alarm over the secret loan deal between ABSG and Access Bank without approvals from the House of Assembly. The Governor Dr. Alex Otti, denied the existence of such transaction and dismissed it as propaganda from the opposition Yesterday the Spokesman to Governor Alex Otti, Ferdinand Ekeoma has admitted that such a deal actually took place but that what was borrowed was 50billion Naira, this runs contrary to the initial lies and denials by the governor. He made the confirmation during an interview conducted by Urban Radio Enugu. Also recall that Governor Alex Otti in April 2024 during his monthly interaction with journalists in his country home told journalists that his administration has never borrowed from any bank. Its so unfortunate that the Governor has continually lied about the management of the financial resources of the state and has intentionally kept every body in the dark. Otti's administration have not been open to Abians including some members of his EXCO on the inflows and management of the state financials. Do you now see why you must take the likes of Eke O Ako and Obinna Oriaku seriously when they make their expose on the financial recklessness of the Otti administration. Otti's government just admitted to one lie out of many and I am sure many more will be exposed its just a matter of time. It is on record that the Otti administration has told Abians more lies in less than one year than all the governments that has governed Abia both civil and military put together Oga Govo, How much more lies are we to expect?.... ~ Uche Aguoru

WHEN YOU SEE A SERIOUS GOVERNOR, YOU'LL KNOW Gov Peter Ndubuisi Mbah the executive Governor of Enugu state went to Vienna to market and woo investors to his state. My Governor Mr Alex Otti used our money and traveled to USA to shout 'thief thief' and to tell the world that Abia state is a den of criminals. Unfortunately, some Abians are clapping for him. Read 👇 "I took our quest for investment and partnerships to Vienna, Austria, where I met with senior government officials, the business community, and international development partners. We had productive exchanges, which, among others, culminated in the signing of an MOU between the Austrian Minister of Interior, Gehard Karner and I for the establishment of a K-9 training unit in Enugu State, to boost security and crime detection. The Minister of Agriculture, Norbert Totschnig and I discussed the implementation of an agricultural model region, measuring about 2,000 to 5,000 hectares, and the need to replicate the Austrian Cooperative success story in Enugu State. Additionally, the MD of Austrian Promotional Bank, AWS, Sagmeister, expressed interest in exploring more opportunities to provide guarantees (including guarantees for credits from Nigerian banks) for Austrian businesses investing in Nigeria, and equally assist our administration in designing creative approaches to procure foreign funding. In my remarks, I assured the Austrian Minister of Labour and Commerce, Dr. Kocher that our administration was poised to help expand collaboration between Austrian and Nigerian businesses, especially in the areas of agriculture, hydro power, work and knowledge in semiconductors. We would leverage the already existing Austrian business presence at the European Business Park, Godfrey Okoye University, Enugu to facilitate this collaboration. Tomorrow is here!" ~ Gov Peter Mbah Executive Governor of Enugu state, Nig

PROPERTY OWNERS IN ABIA TO PAY ILLEGAL RECERTIFICATION FEE OF N50K PER TITLE DOCUMENT: Lawyers weigh in!!!! *Fifty thousand naira for each title document under this harsh economy??...that is outrageously insensitive on the part of Abia state government that promised to prioritize welfare of Abians. *Just imagine for a moment that WAEC, the West African Examination Council calls every holder of their certificate to immediately apply for recertification of all the certificates in their possession for N50,000.00 (Fifty thousand naira). *So for no benefit to the certificate holders they will pay N50k for WAEC certificate, N50k for GCE, N50k for NECO......did you get the drift now?? *Still under imagination; your kids whose WAEC certificates are not yet ready are asked to pay N50k to RECERTIFY their STATEMENT OF RESULT and N50K for NECO. When their certificates eventually come out, they will be forced to pay extra N50K to RECERTIFY the CERTIFICATE 😆 🤣 😂 😹. Ndi oshi right? *Still under the crazy imagination; JAMB forces everybody to pay N50k for RECERTIFICATION of JAMB Admission letter or Nigerian Universities will ask every holder of their CERTIFICATE to pay N50k to RECERTIFY the CERTIFICATES issued to them and those with statement of result must pay N50k for it. *The above are the exact scenarios that aptly captured what Abia State government is asking Abians to do by RECERTIFICATION of all title documents. *RECERTIFICATION: "to certify (someone or something) again, for a second time, or differently."; sounds crazy right?. To RECERTIFY an authentic CERTIFICATE issued to you by a government agency on the flimsy reason that they are upgrading its security or digitalisation. *Did you know that those WAEC certificates that were obtained long before the advent of computers, ICT and digital storage have all been upgraded and stored in WAEC digital files at no extra cost or inconvenience to the holder? *Why will Abians pay N50k to RECERTIFY title documents issued to them by Abia State government? Why burden poor Abians? Why now that the economy is bitting hardest.?? Thought the New Abia government said that people's welfare is their topmost PRIORITY? *Did you know that those who obtained their WAEC CERTIFICATES in 1960, way before ICT was discovered can comfortably use their mobile phones and WAEC scratch card to check their results? The certificate holders weren't forced to bear the burden of WAEC's system digital upgrade but can pay to enjoy the services. *FOR 1960 WAEC CERTIFICATE HOLDERS: Simply key in your WAEC scratch card digits, WAEC exam number, Exam year, and your full name to receive your 1960 WAEC result via instant sms to your phone. Note; the only fee to pay is the WAEC scratch card to enjoy the digital services. *WHY DO OTTI'S GOVERNMENT FEEL THE NEED TO TAX IMPOVERISH ABIANS IN THIS POOR ECONOMY?; This otti's government from July 2023 to March 2024, just under 8 months has received a staggering N160.71Billion from FAAC and JAAC allocations. That sum is what previous administration received in 4 years. *Otti's government has not increased workers salary, has not paid a kobo as wage award but is in total receipt of N160.71Billion so far, with such excess enhanced FAAC allocation, why do they feel the need to tax Abians N50k for every title document? *The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) must not allow Abia State government to go on with this RECERTIFICATION tax which many legal practitioners have called "illegal tax". *Keeping it honest... *The picture attached depicts Abia worker riding their messianic government to power. @ORACLE

ABIA EARNED AN UNPRECEDENTED N161BN FROM FAAC ALLOCATIONS, IGR & CAPITAL RECEIPTS IN 11 MONTHS Please find below, Abia's earnings under Governor Alex C. Otti from May 2023 to March 2024. Note that May 2023 Allocations were paid in June 2023. The last month allocation is always paid in the current month. 1. State Revenue (excluding loans) = N108.64bn 2. LGA Revenue (Excluding IGR, Capital Receipts & loans)= 52.08BN Total Inflow excluding loans, LG IGR & Capital Receipt = N160.71bn (Abia Budget Implementation Reports Q3 2023 to Q1 2024, & Office of AGF of Nigeria). 3. STOP WASTING MONEY ON PETROL. RUN YOUR EXISTING GENERATOR ON COOKING GAS, USING HYBRID CARBURETOR. 12.5kg of gas on a 2.5kva generator gives 32 - 40 hours of electricity or about 8 days if you do an average of 4 hours per day. Gas is cheaper, safer, cleaner, greener, and always available! Small Carburetor - N25,000 The Small Carburetor with model number 02-36 is designed for generators of 2kva to 3.6kva capacities. Big Carburetor - N30,000 The Big Carburetor with model number 038-11 is designed for generators of 3.8kva to 11kva capacities. Frequently Asked Questions 1. WHAT IS HYBRID CARBURETOR? Hybrid Carburetor is an easy to install dual fuel/hybrid carburetor that enables existing petrol generators run on domestic cooking gas (LPG), while still allowing you the option of switching to petrol whenever you run out of gas. The carburetors come in two sizes: Small one for generators of 2kva - 3.6kva and big one for generators of 3.8kva - 11kva capacity. Hybrid carburetors are not yet compatible with Yamaha and the smallest Tiger Gens (I beta pas my nebo) Advantages of Hybrid Carburetor. > Gas is cheaper and always available > Gen noise/sound is reduced by at least 30%, depending on age, make of gen and load > It's eco-friendly. Gen stops smoking entirely > Engine oil lasts longer before getting dirty > Servicing frequency is reduced > Spark plugs can be used for 2yrs before replacement > Tested and confirmed okay, and currently in use in many places/households > 12.5kg of gas gives you 32-40hrs of electricity on 2.5Kva gen - that's about 8 days, if you run gen for max of 4hrs/day 2. HOW SAFE IS GAS ON GENERATOR? Lots of Nigerians are still afraid of gas, as some think it can easily cause explosions, but I don't blame them. It's limited knowledge, which suggests why most Nigerians still don't use gas cookers at home. Truth is running gas cylinders on Generator is safer than running it on cookers. Cookers naturally generate flame (naked fire), yet do not cause explosions, as the cylinders are built to handle the generated flame, whereas your Gen doesn't generate flame. Remember we also have cylinders that carry burners (the student/camping cookers), and they don't cause explosions, too! Again, if there's a leakage from your cylinder/hose in your kitchen, gas can easily accumulate and any ignition can cause fire, being that your kitchen is an enclosure, whereas your gen and cylinders, being outdoors, have adequate ventilation, which will naturally disperse any leaked gas - reducing the chance of fire and explosion, in case of fire ignition. Although we recommend you keep your Gen and cylinders outdoors to avoid overheating, and use a hose of 3-5 yards. Also, avoid having your Gen in a cluster of running gens, like we have in some apartments. CONCLUSION Hybrid Carburetor is 100% Safe Eco-friendly Easy to install 3X Cheaper to use than petrol Makes your generator last longer. Give your Gen the ultimate power upgrade today. We have installed over 20 Hybrid Carburetors within Aba and Environs in last few days and they are working perfectly well. For Purchase and Installation Call on MBAHSON TECHNICAL HARDWARES NIG. Gov Okezie Ikpeazu is the most educated and most qualified among those men with him. Ikpeazu also happened to be the best Governor ever to pilot the affairs of Abia state. He has done so much for Abians and still doing more. So I wonder what this mentally retarded Idi-ot is talking about. |
Peter Obi called me and asked me to use his phone to capture some pictures. He said i should forgive him and manage his phone because it may not be as big as my own. Hehehehehehehe. My God! Then they had their private meeting and later, breakfast and a brief chat with the Press before he left for Umuahia. Governor Ikpeazu ordered that his official back up vehicle and some armed escorts accompany him to Umuahia and stay with him till he leaves Abia State. Nice simple man indeed. He makes everything look simple and this life indeed can be simplified. So, will Ururuaja vote for Peter Obi? The answer is simple. Ururuaja is a PDP man! You gerrit? If you don't gerrit, forget abourit. By the way, I have the best job in the whole wide world. The work don carry me go where i no no! Have a great weekend, y'all. |
Exactly one week ago, former Anambra State Governor and Presidential Candidate of the Labor Party, Mr Peter Obi was a guest of my boss, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu at his Country Home, Umuobiakwa, Obingwa LGA. It was an unusual Saturday. Typically, our saturdays start slowly and late. Governor Okezie Ikpeazu is a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, and so he religiously observes his Sabbath Day formalities. Things start seriously for us on Saturdays later in the day. But this Saturday was different. Indications came 2 days before that Peter Obi was coming over. The usual official channels of communication confirmed it. As a former Governor, Obi was still entitled to official courtesies from any State Governor he chooses to visit. We were informed that my boss and Peter Obi would meet at 8.30am. Governor Ikpeazu is usually very particular about according his guests the very best courtesies, garnished with his natural warmth and humility. When my Boss directly informed me that I should be with him before 7am on Saturday, i knew the matter was a serious one and so by a few minutes past 6am, i was already on my way to Umuobiakwa. I had informed my staff at the Government House Press Umuahia to leave early but on a second thought, i also made a private arrangement for a photographer to avoid stories that touch. From experience, i knew the day would be a long one and so, once i got to Umuobiakwa, i opted to grab a quick breakfast of bread and tea. I am not one of these people who eat slices of bread. I eat a whole loaf, the big size o, with a very big cup, sorry, jug of tea. I am a village man. While i was doing justice to the breakfast and at around 7.25am, the Police Orderly to the Governor, Supol Isah Balewa rushed to the backyard and said THIS MAN IS HERE O! Which man? I asked with a mouth full of a mixture of bread and tea. Peter Obi! The man don come o! Na waa o! I looked at my watch again to confirm the time. It was 7.30am on the dot! Chineke mee! Which kain wahala be this? A sizeable chunk of my bread was still remaining and I was enjoying the thing. I jumped up and rushed to the entrance of the house together with Supol Isah. Lo and behold, there stood Peter Obi and two other men. His simplicity would simply knock you out. Luckily for me, my Boss Governor Okezie Ikpeazu is also a very very simple man who doesn't have any airs around him. That has helped me. Good morning Your Excellency! I said with a respectful bow. Welcome Sir. Please come in. The Governor will be with you shortly. Then he spoke with his signature light voice, almost like the voice of a woman. "Good morning my brother. Biko, it's not yet time. I agreed with His Excellency that we will meet at 8.30am. It's just to 8 now. I like to keep m appointments and arrive there before the time. Let me stay outside here and wait. Please, don't disturb the big man. He will see me at 8.30 please". You want to stay outside, Sir? I asked him, and he said Yes. "It's not good to enter the house of a big man like that". I couldn't help laughing. Please come in and have a seat, Your Excellency. The Governor is waiting, Sir. You insist? I insist Sir! Please come in. He then walked into the house with his 2 friends and he went to use the rest room. He was still inside the rest room when my Boss emerged and was greeting the other 2 men before Peter Obi now came out. Your Excellency! My boss called him. "I knew you would come on time, but I didn't know you would come before the time. Welcome Sir." Please, i am sorry. I told your man that our time has not reached and that he should leave me outside but he insisted. They both laughed. Then the photo ops commenced and my camera man was clicking away while i stood with him ensuring that nothing was missed. Peter Obi called me and asked me to use his phone to capture some pictures. He said i should forgive him and manage his phone because it may not be a

Governor Ikpeazu has done very well on many things especially those things that are not optics. The push for patronage of home made products and the boost of the moral of entrepreneurs is one area that the Governor deserves some commendation. This has grown astronomically the revenue base of these entrepreneurs. Orders are increasing and many young people are finding their entrepreneurial niches. Just yesterday the Internet went agog with the announcement of Prof Soludo to only wear Akwette materials in support of the hardworking akwette weavers from Ukwa in Abia State. This is one fabric Governor Ikpeazu has popularised over the years, including using them as souvenirs to very important guests and visitors. Many entrepreneurs from Abia and beyond will forever appreciate the leadership role of Governor Ikpeazu in taking them to the next levels of their trades. #rebuilder365

DOES KEEPING GENERATOR FUEL TAP HALFWAY REDUCE FUEL CONSUMPTION? The answer is NO, it doesn't work. You may think It's working, but the truth is it doesn't work. It's just working on your psychology, but mechanically it's =0. What actually determines your Gen Fuel consumption are as follows.. 1. The speed at which your Gen is running. 2. The amount of load it carries at a point in time. 3. The condition of your Caburator. A. If your Gen set is too high, it will definitely consume more fuel than the one running at a normal speed of 800-1500rpm or 2500-3000rpm depending on the Generator type. B. If you allow your Gen to steam without load. Then the Fuel consumption will be reduced to the optimal level. And that changes when you apply load to the Gen. C. When your Caburator kit/components are ok i.e through without blockage of any type and the Air intake is not restricted by anything, the consumption will be fairly ok. But when the system is bad and the air filter is blocked... your Gen will be struggling to work which will automatically translate to more fuel consumption etc. Finally, there is what is called Fuel chamber in a Caburator. That is where the quantity of fuel that your Gen needs to work with rest. In that chamber we have what is called floating pin. The floating pin opens up immediately the level of fuel in the chamber reduces to allow more fuel in so as to enable your Gen set to continue to work efficiently without jerking. Once the level of fuel in the chamber goes bellow the normal level, your Gen will start to jerk until it stops i.e when the Fuel finally exhaust. In summary, what you see in the picture doesn't determine your Gen Fuel consumption, it can only have a little effect if your Caburator is bad and overflowing. But as for Fuel consumption? It's a no no. To be continued.....

IKPEAZU REWARDS 15 YEARS OLD ARIARIA SCAVENGER WITH SCHOLARSHIP, SAYS HONEST PEOPLE GO FAR IN LIFE Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu has rewarded a 15-year old boy, Chibuike Ibekwe, who dropped out of school and resorted to scavenging at the Ariaria international market, Aba, to assist his poor mother, Mrs Chika Ibekwe, a petty roadside trader, with scholarship and cash for his mother to improve her business. While receiving the said Chibuike, his mother, and the chairman of Ariaria International Market, Elder Emeka Igara, at his native residence in Umuobiakwa in Obingwa Local Government Area of the State, Gov Ikpeazu said; “Your name is Chibuike, and mine is Chibuike, too. I am happy you’ve proven to be very honest. “Honest people go far in life. Those who do not take what does not belong to them are people that God helps and saves in their times of difficulty. Thank you for being honest and for not taking what did not belong to you. You will go far in life. "Your today can’t decide your tomorrow because you are honest. You will go back to school. I will ensure you finish your secondary education because you are honest. If you remain honest, you will remain my friend and I will make sure you see me every month. What you have done by returning the goods to the owner is a mark of honor and proof of your honesty. Thank you, once again, Chibuike for being honest", the Governor said. Luck smiled on Chibuike, who hails from Mbano in Imo State, the day one Mrs Goodness Uzoukwu, a trader in Ariaria, who deals in shoes and other wears, gave him a bag containing brand new shoes to dispose, thinking it was trash. When Chibuike got to where he disposes waste and discovered that the content of the bag given to him by Mrs Uzoukwu was not waste but goods, he decided to return the shoes to her, refusing to listen to those who wanted to buy them from him. Getting to Mrs Uzoukwu’a shop, she was happy and rewarded him and made a video of the innocent and honest Chibuike, thanking him for returning her goods and she posted the video on her Facebook page which in turn went viral. When the attention of Governor Ikpeazu was brought to the video, he sent for Chibuike for a meeting with him saying that such honesty as displayed by the boy is what the society needs. One Chibuike Okebugwu, a trader in Ariaria was contacted and he went in search of Chibuike Ibekwe, the 15-years old scavenger, got him and brought him to Chibuikem the Governor. Chibuike’s mother, who got a huge financial boost to her petty trading business, as a result of her son’s honesty, was unable to control her emotions for what God has done for her family through the Governor The Chairman of Ariaria International Market, Elder Emeka Igara, a member of the market executive, Mr Chibuike Okebugwu and Mrs Goodness Uzoukwu accompanied Chibuike Ibekwe and his mother, Chika, on the visit to the Governor.

ABA! A TRIP TO MY CRADLE. My visit to Abia State yesterday was a quasi homecoming for me. There is so much for me and Aba that brings back nostalgia. Aba is my cradle. I owe the foundations of my worldview to that city of hardworking women and men. I was privileged to join my husband, Sen. Hope Uzodimma to the event marking the unveiling of the proposed Ishmael Ikpeazu Memorial Library and a compilation of writings by Governor Okezie Ikpeazu in Aba, Abia State. Aba represents much more than is presented out there. Like every Nigerian City, it is thriving in spite of the many teething challenges we are facing globally today. Aba is an Entrepreneurs nest. Our foremost artisans hub where the unique "Aba-made" brand continues to tell the story of a creative people freely expressing themselves in commerce and industry. This is the Aba that a thousand negative tales cannot overwrite. Barr. (Mrs) Chioma Uzodimma First Lady, Imo State

It's so unfortunate that the so called Christians will twist the parting shots of Gov Ikpeazu in an extensive interview he granted wherein he enumerated series of measures his administration have so far taking to fight the COVID-19 virus should it eventually enter the state. Gov Ikpeazu concluded that, however as God's own state that we are assured of God's protection as we have always been protected in the past against other deadly Viruses. The Gov should indeed be applauded for carrying God along in all that he does. |
KINDLY IGNORE THOSE TWISTING GOV IKPEAZU'S SPEECH, THE GOV MADE A STATEMENT OF FACT... Watch and listen to what Gov Ikpeazu said and ignore the people twisting his statement. For clarity sake. That statement was like a parting shot in an interview that lasted for about 30 minutes where he outlined several measures to be taken by his administration in the fight against COVID-19. And in the video he assured Abians of his Government preparedness and God's protection. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=4205942796089928&id=100000227466919 |
082 is the Code... #Aba #I_AM_PROUD_OF_ABA. Real ABA BREED may not be loud or flamboyant, but we are made of quality (input and output). Whenever you have an Aba Breed around you, as a colleague, staff or Boss, relax bcus we won't fall your hands... We may not have the best of infrastructure for now, the truth remains, we are heading somewhere great, since we know where we are coming from... enyimba, Enyi. Aba has been a springboard to almost all successful businessmen in Nigeria and some part of Africa, though some has forgotten in a hurry. Aba was and remains CENTER OF ATTRACTION to the people of the Eastern Sector (Southeast and South south) and beyond, business and holiday wise. Some that are raising curses against the would have amounted to nothing, if not that they find their way to Aba ( then and now). Just like God to Ezekiel "THE BONE SHALL RISE AGAIN." No good can come from Nazareth, is the answer to Nathanael's rhetorical question. We can't always hear it today, because we know the end of the sermon. We know indeed that Jesus our Christ is from Nazareth. ... Jesus came from the poor, from those who are not expected to bring forward what is good. If you don't know Aba, is either you dodged History class in school, your History teacher is academically shallow, you were born in the late 90's and you dont appreciate learning or you haven't travelled out of your local government or state of origin. Please leave your comfort zone and travel a bit to grow your exposure. #Aba_is_blessed Dear Miracle Oluchi Okala, hitting First Class in the Faculty of Law Abia State University, Uturu, and maintaining the same feat in Nigeria Law School, depicts the resilience spirit of a real Aba Breed. Greatest Okpeke, May all ur daysis be longed nd woged... brada has woged bein Vibrated. Great Ikengress I hail oh!!!!! I rest my case! #Aba_ma_ndi_Aba. #Am_Proud_of_Aba

EzekaUdenee:Yes, some of these places are not good, but that doesn't change the fact that there are areas their Governor has fixed. |
