Religion / Re: As A Born-again,ever Doubted God?(right Or Wrong) by mzellsx(f): 9:18am On May 10, 2015
cold:

The only reason you doubt god is simply because he isn't there. And you have every right to question what you've been indoctrinated with. It's your inner Atheist struggling with what you've been fed with to suppress it. Everybody gets that tug in their heart once in a while. Some choose to pursue that thought in their head to its logical conclusion in order to get to the truth, many others choose to brush it aside and stick to their beliefs. Ask yourself, why do you have to keep praying fervently, making repeated requests to a god who should be 'all knowing' and 'all encompassing'? Doesn't make any sense. Assuming your request comes through' you go 'thank god', 'it's the lord's doing' etc. If it doesn't after several heated prayers, you go 'god has a reason'. Either way,god wins. When i see some of these Christians pray,i ask myself; 'is this god so deaf that he can't hear? Some even speak unintelligbly, vigorously shaking their heads and gyrating epiliptically. Smh. Let me not even talk about those that tag themselves 'prayer warriors'. Spending as much as 5-6 hours praying! Oma se o!
Truth is the belief in god is based on nothing more than hope which they term faith. The so called believers cannot say with any degree of certainty that there god exists. In the end, they're only hoping he does. Ok rant over.
I take it you are an atheist

He will never response because he is not the Yehweh Mesiah

You need to ask the right Yehweh Mesaih first to be answered
So ask Zorobabel The real messaih and trust Yehweh chiose

See Haggai 2:20 23

you mean zorobabel is the real messiah??have never heard that before,am I misunderstanding something??or you mean its in the passage above

Can you explain more what you meant with Doubted God?
well I meant believe that he can't do a certain thing or he just doesn't listen to your prayers.I really don't mean doubting his existence
Religion / As A Born-again,ever Doubted God?(right Or Wrong) by mzellsx(f): 11:32pm On May 09, 2015
Ok,I know this will sound a lil weird, wrong and unsure of me as a christian, buh on certain occasions (in moments of weakness) I have found myself questioning God.of course I get over it.but I just want your views.ever doubted Godmaybe as a result of one sad circumstance or another,is it right or wronghow do you feel after doing it??how can one fight it??....opinions are very much welcomed

@op, first of all, u look so pretty.

My take on dis remains that arranged marriage in a particular context "you both are ready" honestly has been better than this nonsense we do these days.

If I wanna get married now which am looking forward to, it's either my family tells my a better family to choose from or I just meet the girl.
Dating someone for a decade dnt guarantee perfect marriage and in fact, most failed married starts with this
1. One or both parties are not ready
2. One or both parties lacks understand and dnt wish to learn or have no intention of going into the marriage.

It's kinda a 50-50 stuff but mahn, arranged or just meet kinda marriage which the lady especially will be ready to work for it and wait for time for it to mature.

Nne, fine girl, will u marry me?

yes I will, when is the wedding boo

Normally, one would think the era of arrangee marriage is far behind us and that we're in the jet age where the man and the woman are expected to make their individual choices on who to be with and marry.

But when one juxtapose the marriages of yore which most of them were arrangee to the ones today they'll realize that the ones in the past were more subsistence and lasted longer than what we have today.

Although I'm for the idea that people should make their own choices but that it's not a guarantee of a successful marriage and happy home. What arrangee couple should do is to spend some time together and take out time to study each other and see if there's some connection and compatibility. It shouldn't be completely ruled out
I'll go with not ruling it out completely, back in the days, they were bizarre reasons for arranged marriages like payment of debt and other weird stuff yh!but we find out that in the long run after the initial getting to know each other stage which takes prolly one year or two,the couple adapt and in SOME situations last longer and more peaceful than the ones with prolonged courtship.

Well personally,I think its a win-win or lose-lose situation. In as much as its not so advisable to arrange marriages,it could also work out.just as it happens when you find somebody yourself,it could be a hit or miss.share your views??
