The Benue State Governor elect, Chief Samuel Ortom, explained that his experience as a motor park tout to his election as governor has been nothing than a divine arrangement and the handiwork of God. Ortom said his elevation from grass to grace was due to hard work and his firm believe in God. He said, “My journey from being a motor park tout to an elected governor is purely a divine arrangement. I cast my mind back to when I dropped out of school in Form 2 but I remained hardworking and I did not engage in crime to survive. “One thing I know is that hard work pays and you must keep faith with God; power belongs to God and He alone gives it to whoever He will.” Ortom who was a former Minister of State for Industry, Trade and Investment said he dropped out of school in Form 2 because his parents couldn't afford to send him to school, however, this did not force him to engage in criminal activities to survive. He said he almost didn't become a Governor because some people within PDP tried to frustrate his efforts and the party also frustrated the support of the Benue populace who supported him. He said, “The process of selection of delegates in the last PDP governorship election was manipulated by the leadership of the party to thwart my ambition and frustrate the people who all supported me. But God vindicated me and blessed me, and now I am an elected governor.” |

It's no news that when one telecom company introduces a new platform all others follow whether they can keep it up or not. When MTN 1st started the borrow me credit flu I knew it won't be long b4 glo got bitten. Now that glo has started it. Why can it be done right OK! In what world do you borrow a client credit and also deduct the borrowed credit to pay back Who ever is in charge of the platform is doing nothing. The1st time it happened I consoled myself by saying maybe I loaded without realising it. Then it happened again and this last time I did it on purpose just to confirm. You borrow N500 from glo, you call with. N150 after 24/48hrs they deduct the remaining N350 to upset your outstanding borrowed credit abeg scrap it if you can't handle it. |
They sure know how to get the attention they need! Kudos na dem sabi. If these pictures can't reduce pump price/mk fuel available then it's none of my business |
That reminds me. I am a victim. Borrowed some1 Money(23,000) for over a year & d person stopped talking to me. I was bothered initially but on 2nd tot I decided to forget it since nothing was working @ getting it back but I just said: let's hope the day you really need life saving favour it does not backfire. Lending money is easy paying back well impossible. So these day if I give out money it's a 50/50 risk. If u pay, fine! If you don't fine..wetin God don take bless me nobody fit take am and wen I feel bad about it, I just tell myself it's a way to help the less privileged in our society |
okorune:lol.. |

Alot is going on right now in Nigeria and it's no news that nothing seems to be working. The youths of today seem to have given up while the elderly have accepted their fate. People even insult others for making a joke out of Nigeria's situation but crying won't help either. I am positive & sure things would change some day but whether it is in my generation or the next or even when the country's name has been changed I don't know but in one sentence I can say: Nigeria a home of possibility. How d you describe Nigeria in one sentence ![]() |
