yemmight:

Before any recruitment exercise is carried out, HR in conjunction with the unit or department affected would have concluded the process and necessary forms that include number of candidates, skills, experience etc and those requirements are agreed.

However, often time HR tend to be in kind of dilemma to choose between good candidate, even when one has identified that these two candidates are excellent and we only need to pick one. You might fall into this category.

We don’t always admit this but some good candidates may end up being victims as a result of impositions of other candidates. Lots of organizations do this and it’s really challenges for HR people except for very understanding Executives that will never involve in recruitment.

Other thing that could have happened might just be inability of the bank to fill those positions for now due to financial implication.
I think writing you that letter could also be that after a thorough verifications they may not be satisfied with the responses they have received so far. The responses could be from your formal organization, your references etc.

And finally, even when someone gets such letter, this might not be end of the road. Some organizations adopt policies to always write candidates on their performances after interview. They may actually KIV your credential for more suitable opportunity in the future. I had experience where I had to wait for 8 months, even when I have been given a similar letter of yours and that organization has been the best for me so far.

Anyway, which of these reasons, I wish you all the best in your carrier path.

Thank you so much for your detailed response and encouragement. Appreciate. I hope they KIV sha and get a 'surprise' call soon cheesy

Good evening HR professionals
Pls the above rejection mail was sent to me after a 'supposed' successful interview. Others got rejection mails on the day of the interview. When i didnt get any feedback(rejection mail/otherwise) after 2wks, i called the HR to inquire about the status of my application and he said i was successful. Less than 2mnths later, i got the above mail.
Pls, what do guys deduce went down?
Was supposed to call and make enquiries on why i got the above mail after the HRs last positive response?
P.S kindly take note of the tone of the mail....dont know if its just me, but it doesnt say anything(?) about not making their 'cut'
Thanks

@Pukkah re-read my post and place it side by side with CNSSL's statement/press release then come back and ask your question again
Phones / Re: MTN OFFICE CLOSURE: Plateau Protests Closure Of Jos Telecom Office by naanmin(f): 10:23am On Aug 03, 2012
CNSSL paid their jos staff 37k for 2yrs while lagos, kad and kano reps got over eighty thousand and you pple consider that fair?! Haba!

When reps protested with the support of NLC in April, salaries were reviewed to 45k with a promise of further negotiation bfr May ran out. These slave masters now rescinded and said negotiations will only hold in july, when staff threatened them with strike, union reps were threatend with soldiers, guns and suspension letters, but thankfully, they stood their ground and dared mgt to do their worse...mgt had no option but to let them go.

Strike began in May, reps picket the ofis daily since then, mgt ignored staff untill they couldnt anymore then called for negotiations about a month ago. There was an upward review which still wasnt good enough and union rejected the offer asking for harmonisation with staff in oda locations. When mgt realised that staff were srz about not resumin until salaries were harmonised, they terminated all staff's appointment under the guise of *redundancy*

Union took the matter to plateau state house of Ass who asked mgt to bring their MOU with MTN for scrutiny it was at this point that mgt called for negotiation

If CNSSL doesnt have anytin to hide, why lie to the public that its insecurity that informed their decision to close shop and not their greed and slavery!

ADEBYTE@naanmin
From all indication, there could have been many things that could have cause lumps under her ampit, like acne or swollen glands but because of the pus, it most likely a cysta-subaceous cyst( infected subaceous gland, found anywhere hair grows) usually caused by plugged up glands
Which eventually cause infection.would have advise both oral and topical antibiotics in the first place b4 d operation.so I would advise that she seek medical help for further blood tests.

Tanks for ur response Doc. She has taken plenty antibiotics and is still taking more right now. At the moment, she has swellings the size of olives on her neck and inner arm arnd the elbow. They are both open and leaking pus. The incisions made during surgery under d armpit and arnd the shoulder are also still open and leaking pus. Wen dis whole thing started, she lost a lot of weight n had lotsa pimples but she has nw regained her weight n d pimples hav cleared. She has run TB, HIV and all oda tests and she was certified clean. All dis only started with pain arnd d shoulder o! Pls wat do u tink?
