yemi2plus:This is what I use. Sounds great (at least to me) that's why i bought a backup. Got it for 1k @ CVllg. Only deal breaker may be that it does not have volume control, just pause/play;pick/cut call button (just 1 button). Though I'm ok with it. There are fakes that's why I snapped with it's packet.

Is Xiaomi looking to downgrade the traditional Mi flagship to a hybrid flagship, a top-tier mid-ranger?Perhaps in a bid to further manage costs and scale down their flagship offering just to the Mi Mix SD 8 series, especially since it appears market dynamics now seem to favor a trend from the old, standard Mi flagship 5" - 5.15" screen sizes to bigger 5.5"- 5.99". The Mi Mix phones of late have adopted that 5.99" and that's looking they way they want to roll. Just my thoughts, sha...

Meanwhile, on a matter just arising, this is my 500gb Seagate external hard drive, im teeth just pluck comot now. E no crash, e dey work well, only say the USB 3.0 teeth just pluck comot. Anyone know how, who can help retrieve my over 400gb files wey trap inside? Epp... Ps: The small component (tooth) is from the drive port not the USB cable.. 1 Share

I think, for the very fact that this Thread has served to showcase the qualities of Xiaomi devices and provided cheaper avenues for acquiring the devices not to mention the invaluable advise, solutions and technical support given to people for free in order to make their experience with the Xiaomi devices more enjoyable, I think, for those and many other reasons, there should be no well meaning reason for anyone to even flippantly suggest or joke about closing of the thread. This Thread could have been a closed WhatsApp group (this had been suggested and debated in the past) but reason prevailed in keeping it an open forum because we cross-pollinate and learn more by the process of healthy, constructive interaction. We all can't hold the same opinion on issues, but I believe we should, and have the capacity to express those opinions in a manner that compliments us as educated individuals rather than pander to ego and pursue the winning of arguments just for the sake of winning rather than to add value to the community here. I believe the collective good should be the focus rather than individual ego. This pettiness should stop, I believe we are more than this. It doesn't reflect well on us as a collective. I believe, we are the longest thread on nairaland, and I shudder to imagine what a person curious to know about the lenghty thread will feel when he/she visits as a guest and sees us bickering and back-biting over non-issues. Dam5reey:I think what the original post meant was that he should keep a record of phone models he's sold. Someone doing a trend analysis may one day come along requesting such info to help assess the peculiar dynamics of the market for Xiaomi devices here. Whether the tilt is towards mid-range, low-end or flagship devices etc.. I think it's good for statistics and record keeping purposes. |

Gptech:Remember, the Mi Max 2 comes a little bigger in size but also efficient. 6.44" screen and 5300maH battery. So you'll have to determine if that is ergonomical for you, otherwise great phone too. |
