If yours was not a clone, then as our GrandMufti suggested, it must have been a refurbished phone. But unfortunately you did not know this Thread then to guide you.

So if guys seem to be pulling Luger on you, it had to do with how you take introduce your matter with casting the brand and opening a dissing thread. It's natural, we gats take up arms and defend what we know and believe. You understand now, abi?

We are good people here and I will encourage you to forget your earlier un-guided experience and make a fresh start with a new Xiaomi device based on sound advise from our gurus here to enable you take a well informed decision on an original Xiaomi phone of choice that you will enjoy for a long time without regrets.

I honestly do too, they keep falling out of my ears, I've been looking at the reviews of all the earphones and I'm being tempted but I'll end up giving it out is all.. I also prefer the old Nokia earphone type... Anyone know of any that makes sense like all this una zircon/memt etc

Same problem I had until I got these. They literally hang in there and the sound quality is impressive. Tough daily driver and I bought from one of those inside shops in Computer Village for 1k. They don't sell them in the box. I understand that the road side ones sold in branded boxes may not be original though I have no way of proving that so you may have to question the seller well and test am before buying. But the sound impresses immediately you hear it, so it won't sound like the regulars, I think that's the best test.

No. Different SoCs. Qualcomm offers better update support than Mediatek. MTK cheaper though but more prone to ish. But some people have no complaints about it, so it all depends..

Earlier threads here suggest that Kulimart has issues and not advisable to transact with. I don't know what the situation is now. He can also consider dealing with our guys here. All the feedback on them seem positive. Just my thoughts. In the end, it's still his decision the way to go.
