I believe that it is the Nigerian Customs that are stalling. They already have the list of the successful applicants by now.

Obviously zoho recruitment by now must have finished their compilation and forward the names to the Nigerian customs.
Only God knows what they are waiting for, i know its not funding cus provisions and funds were already made.

Except if some senior officers squandered those funds for the additional recruitment (like it happened in army dssc last year)

Or

Maybe customs are waiting for those left in camp to fully vacate.

Instead of spending all that money on girl outside whom i know obviously if you get your own place nah your girlfriend go chop your money, why not on your sis.

I just shake my head cus i know shes telling nothing but the truth.

Alot of people think its all rainbows outside Nigeria, they think immediately you "Japa" you make it. This is a common stupid silly throught from people who never traveled abroad.

Yes of course there are opportunities out their but is not always. Dont be surprised you will be a victim of racial profiling and discrimination, check the rates of unemployment of African American in the us you'll be shocked. Even if you lucky to get a job, taxes, rent, bills will leave you drained. Only then you will realize working there is slavery.

Except if your parents are wealthy, influential, have good connects OR God decides its your destiny to make it outside, But for a poor or local man to "japa" , you will live abroad for 50 years, come back with nothing to show.

Its what we say in hausa "ka sake reshe ka kamo ganye" grin

I pray it remains so, they have been on the neck of Col. hammed customs boss. Them and the lawmakers, i hope he doesn't finally cave in. He is doing a great job.

i remember pleading with one of my dad's friend, a senior custom officer to help me get through this supplementary recruitment.

In his own words, He said the DG is very strict about the recruitment. Even some seniors officers on top my dad's friend couldn't get a slot for their candidate.

I hope it stays like this, at least we would be hopeful and be rest assured its a fair recruitment

I'm currently working in Gombe and the place is kinda dope for the Northeast setting. Transportation and food prices is cheap. I was even surprised to see the state has a good road network.

But the heat is sometimes unbearable.

Overall I'll give the state a 6/10.

I dont know if you are just catching cruise and typing whatever you feel like or you are being serious but please be realistic. No military or paramilitary will recruit without medicals and screening.

Have you also thought of people with fake credentials ? So you expect the customs to just recruit people like that and put them on pay roll without the consideration of people with fake certificates and credentials huh

Abeg somethings are common sense and logic. Think ABEG
