BUA Cement ex-factory cement price reduction to N3,500/bag effective October 2, 2023 is now a sham and a scam. Price has been reversed back to it's old state.

The chairman of Bua Group, Alhaji Abdul Samad Rabiu, came under massive pressure from northern leaders, northern elites, and northern elders after his company announced a price reduction of it's cement. They said he was targeting Dangote, and was drawing bad blood. That he should increase back the price immediately if he wants peace, because Dangote is not ready or willing to reduce his own cement prices anytime soon.
The pressure was so intense to the extent Dangote phoned him, and insulted him badly, over his decision to reduce the price of his cement. Alas Alhaji Abdul Samad Rabiu bowed to pressure and revert back to the old price.
