PoliticsRe: IPOB "Proscribe Igbo Politicians From Traveling Abroad. Come Abroad And See" by nabiz(m): 8:52am On Aug 18, 2019
Very soon even their children will now be allowed to study abroad. After destroying our school system, the will send their children to abroad.

Upon should also start exposing their properties in abroad. The stole our money and hide it in abroad instead of using it to develop igbo land.

A political office holder should be honored as a good servant to his people and not in the other way round. To serve your people is not by force
PoliticsRe: We Igbo Youths Strongly Condemn Ipob On Attack Against Ekweremadu by nabiz(m): 8:30am On Aug 18, 2019
SilasNwude:
first ipob don't and will never represent the good people of igbos
don't make mistakes we used to support ipob before until it was infected by touts and criminals with personal and selfish reasons
that's the republican nature of igbos

right now the IPOB is not what is used to be before they're now on their own in the mission to continue milking themselves dry and defrauding themselves
Igbos used to support them because they where once good and selfless in fact i personally was nearly killed at onitsha head Bridge by the army and navy during one of the protest i escaped narrowly i knew many guys that fell to the bullets that day.

reasonable people have left the movement and here are the reasons
your opinion can never count Kanu's words are final and absolute
you get attacked for your religion their useless members will attack you and your religion insisting that you cannot be Biafran without being a traditionalist (this drove many away because the mission is already Derailing)

you dare not ask questions you'll be attacked verbally

you're expected to hate someone or something you don't plan on hating so technically if you're not a hateful type you're not qualified to be an ipob member as for me the only person I hate in this world is buhari and his supporters (no apologies)

and so on

so the attack on Ike Ekweremadu is highly condemned by Igbos ipob are on their own and even though i still somehow respect Kanu especially for his diplomatic approach recently
i expect him to condemn and call ipob to order
Ekweremadu does not have any anti Igbo record past and present

i rest my case

NOTE: may thunder scatter any ipob bastard that will insult his father in advance
you guys are ruffians and vagabonds

kiss the truth
may be igbo youth from your community. O boy speak for yourself
PoliticsIgbo Leaders Should Start Building Good Hospital And School Now Or ... by nabiz(op): 8:25am On Aug 18, 2019
The faster Igbo political leader start building good school and hospital in Igbo land the better for them because one day no igbo political leader would be allowed to travel abroad for hospital tourism, even there children will not be allowed to study abroad. Nonsense by our political leaders must stop. THE FEAR OF IPOB IS THE BEGINNING OF WISDOM

Biodun556:
President Muhammadu Buhari, on Wednesday, signed the Nigerian Correctional Service Bill into law. The bill, among other things, changes the name of the Nigerian Prisons Service to Nigerian Correctional Service

Mr Buhari had previously declined to sign the bill back in April after lawmakers first passed and sent it to him. He declined on the grounds that the bill violates Sections 81 and 84 of the Nigerian Constitution, which guarantees the independence of the judiciary.

Following the rejection, the lawmakers amended the bill in May and resent it to the president.

Here are 10 things you need to know about the new law.

1. The law changes the name of the Nigerian Prisons Service to Nigerian Correctional Service.

2. The bill was first presented and read in the Senate in January 2008, 11 years ago, by a former senator and current chairman of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Victor Ndoma-Egba, in the sixth assembly.

3. The law empowers the State Comptroller of Prisons to reject additional prisoners where the prison in question is already filled to capacity.

President Muhammadu Buhari, on Wednesday, signed the Nigerian Correctional Service Bill into law. The bill, among other things, changes the name of the Nigerian Prisons Service to Nigerian Correctional Service.

4. The law divides the Correctional Service into two main areas which are, a) The Custodial Service and b) Non-custodial Service.

5. The Custodial Service will, among other things, take control of persons legally interned in safe, secure and humane conditions and provide support to facilitate the speedy disposal of cases of persons awaiting trial.

6. The Non-custodial Service will be responsible for the administration of non-custodial measures like community service, probation, parole, restorative justice measures and such other measures as a court of competent jurisdiction may order.

7. The objective of the law is to focus on correction and promote reformation, rehabilitation and reintegration of offenders.

8. The law stipulates that the Correctional Service will be headed by the Controller-General and a minimum of eight Deputy Controller-Generals.

9. The law states the Correctional Service must initiate behaviour modification in inmates through the provision of medical, psychological, spiritual and counselling services for all offenders including violent extremists.

10. The law also states that where an inmate sentenced to death has exhausted all legal procedures for appeal and a period of 10 years has elapsed without the execution of the sentence, the Chief Judge may revert the death sentence to life imprisonment. No 10 get as ebe oo

PoliticsRe: Breaking News!! Zamfara To Pardon Imprisoned Fulani Bandits And Set Them Free by nabiz(m): 6:46am On Aug 12, 2019
MetaPhysical:
- Governor Bello Matawalle of Zamfara says he will pardon 100 Fulani people who are imprisoned over banditry in Gusau -
The disclosure was made by the senior special assistant to the governor on media, Zaila Bappa - Bappa says the governor stated this when he received representatives of the Fulani community in Zamfara.

The Cable reports that Governor Matawalle expressed displeasure that the Fulani “are now termed as terrorists worst than Boko Haram”. Legit.ng gathers that the governor said granting pardon to the bandits is part of an ongoing peace process in the state. He said: “I am one of you and I know you are not terrorists. “What is happening today has a cause and we are determined to address it with your cooperation.” “You can see now; you are here not only in Gusau, but the government house. Nobody will arrest you or harm you. Our aim is to have lasting peace in our dear state.” Speaking on behalf of the Fulani community in Zamfara, Baba Bello said that all known bandits would surrender their weapons.

The ex-bandits said at a peace meeting in Tsafe, that they were harassed and intimidated by the police and vigilantes, locally known as ‘Yan Sakai’, into becoming bandits and kidnappers. The meeting which held at the palace of the Emir of Tsafe, Alhaji Muhammadu Bawa, one of the bandits commanders, Hassan Dantawaye, said they were unjustly treated by the government and the society. He said: “We were forced into this, because apart from cattle rustling incidents we faced some years back, we also faced serious harassment and intimidation from security personnel and Yan Sakai."

PoliticsRe: Why Are South Easterner Making Sowore Revolution Yorubas Fight? by nabiz(m): 7:27pm On Aug 08, 2019
proxillin:
It is becoming a common trend to see our Eastern brothers mocking Yorubas when a topic comes up on #revolutionnow.

They are even saying it's a Yoruba fight.

This has nothing to do with yorubas.

1. Major Yoruba big wigs are still supporting Buhari.
2. Even the big anti-Buhari Yoruba elders are not supporting Sowore because he had one time dined with Tinubu to fight and defame Jonathan.
3. Sowore has his own political party, therefore he is not a tribal leader.
4. Sowore does not represent Yorubas and Yorubas don't buy his fake revolution.
5. Why the sudden revolution? He kept mute when Atiku alone was fighting buhari at the tribunal. Trust sowore at your own risk.
6. Nnamdi Kanu was fighting for Igbo race, sowore is not fighting for Yoruba race.
7. Yorubas are divided and not ready for revolution. No one can be trusted again. They trusted buhari, and he is now an Abacha reincarnnate. Revolution is a waste of time in Nigeria, you will keep empowering tyrants like buhari.

So stop equating sowore to mazi kanu. His party has followers who are enough to protest. They are not only yorubas, but all tribes.

Our Igbo brothers, you need to try harder to mock us. Sowore revo is stale and not funny. Eh no dey pain us.
i think it is because Igbos know what they want. They want Biafra and not revolution

i am an igbo man and a Biafra supporter i am in to support even to contribute my little effort to save sowore. I hate injustice no matter where you are coming from

I think the last option is your best bet.

There should be a plan that allows you make deposits but not withdrawals, the main tool you need here is discipline not to divert the money to another use, well, that will be dependent on what you want or if your goal still remains the same as at when the money needed is completed.

Better still, you can always keep them with me monthly, trust me I’m a good manager grin grin
